Only 1 server for the entire restaurant on a Saturday night. It took 20 minutes to get menus and almost an hour to get our food. This is my third time at WSKY and each time the experience gets progressively worse. First time a roach crawled on the booth which was somewhat concerning, but I understand things happen. I ordered breakfast and my eggs had a piece of plastic in them. Second time my burger took 45 minutes with the restaurant being nearly empty. The burger came out cold because the server went MIA, and the gluten-free bun was still frozen. This last time there was one server for the entire restaurant. With only five of the tables you wouldn't think it would take as long as it did to get a drink or food. You can see from my photo that it looks like the fries were half eaten by the time it got to the table, and the burger was rock hard even though I ordered it medium. There didn't seem to be a busser and the waiter walked right past multiple tables stacked with empty glasses and plates. In the 2 hours we were there the tables never got cleared. This place has a serious problem with hiring in inattentive servers or maybe it's the management not paying attention. This is unfortunate because I was hoping this would be a great restaurant option near my house which is located in Inspirada. I also don't know what's going on with the outdoor portion of this restaurants, but it's seriously underutilized and would provide nice outdoor ambiance if you could actually sit out there. It would also be nice for those of us trying to avoid the smokers at the bar. Not sure why they allow smoking that close to all of the restaurant tables, but it's definitely not enjoyable while you're trying to eat. We've been going here for months with our small dog - it's walking distance from our home and we loved sitting outside enjoying the views. This past Friday night we brought our friends with us and we were told that dogs are no longer allowed on the patio - such a huge disappointment. We were looking forward to spending summer evenings here but now we'll have to find another place. I really hope they reconsider this decision. read more

So just had to make an update to my previous post. I still love the food. But wanted to add the sad poor of wine I received. I ordered my 1st glass and it was a normal pour but decided on a different wine for my 2nd glass, and it was a little more expensive and when I received it, I was quite taken aback on how little was in glass. I thought for sure it was a mistake or something, so I asked our server and she said that is their standard pour. The use a pint glass next to the wine and pour to the line where the pint glass ends. I said, all my other glasses haven't been this short and she said that they were over pouring then. If you look at my photo below, you'll see how little it was. She did come and give me a little more. But it just makes me wonder, at a bar, why they would pour so short. I even went home and took a glass that was very similar to theirs & poured to a top of a pint glass, and that was just short of 4 ounces. My husband and I went to the WSKY bar in Inspirada a week ago on a Sunday afternoon. A bartender by the name of Victoria was the bartender . We sat at the bar and waited just to get our drink . We finally received our drink and it was an effort for her . We wanted to eat so finally my husband caught her eye and asked for a menu. It was tossed at us on the bar . We looked it over and found what we wanted to order. We sat again and waited and waited finally caught her eye and politely asked if we could order. It was an effort for her again. Needless to say we will never be back on day shift !! She never came back to ask us if we wanted more to drink . Flagged her down again!! However it won't be our last time coming to the WSKY bar because everyone on Night Shift has been extremely nice to us . We can't say enough good things about Nick and Kiera ! WSLY used to be the go-to for the weekends, but recently...it had been hard to get service. The ambiance is alright, but my bartop experience has not been nearly as attentive as it used to be. I try to make eye contact with the bartenders, but I often get put on the back-burner...whether it is to cash in my bartop tickets or to order an extra drinks. Feels that I don't get service from the males behind the counter. It seems to have a weird balance now that they have all males behind the bar during the week. The early weekdays Monday - Wednesday are my favorites to visit for the happy hour special. The bartenders those days are awesome and take great care of me! Place is good. The tater-tot nachos with steak and no beans is amazing! They got my poison of choice (Johnnie Walker blue label). The prices in drinks and food are fair, expect for the Johnnie Walker blue label, it's $40 a shot and the bottle is $250 at the store, so I stuck to my jack and coke :). If you enjoy being ignored for 45 minutes straight, this is your place! Seriously, we practically begged to order, after being repeatedly passed up for the first 10 minutes. We ended up going here by a fluke and I'm so glad we did! The first thing I noticed: It's a gorgeous restaurant, with awesome views of the cityscape. The staff was attentive, efficient, and caring. The drinks were great! Special shout out to the Agave Margarita...I'm still thinking about it a day later. For food, we tried the spinach artichoke dip (fabulous!), the burger (my husband loved it) and the salmon (so good, and loved the potatoes and broccolini it came with. We decided to try this place on the recommendation of some friends. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be given menus only to be asked if we were ready to order about a full minute after. We each order a different whiskey based cocktail, since we both love whiskey and assumed with a name like wsky that they'd be tasty... well now I think it must not be short for whiskey because both hated it... like undrinkably gross. Then for food we ordered the cheese curds... they were like biting into a gusher but instead of sugary juice you got gross oil/ grease. Finally, he ordered a burger and stated it was ok. I'm a solid fan of WSKY Bar & Grill, although they are new and going through some growing pains! So I've come here three times since their recent opening, and each time I left very pleased, but a bit perplexed! The service is very good from the staff, and they are extremely outgoing and personable, but they seem to be caught standing and talking behind the bar at times! I have had quick service, and I've had slow service to the tune of over 20 minutes to get a drink! When you have at least three bartenders behind the bar, but only one is hustling, that can lead to a slow demise if the customers decide enough is enough. The Happy Hour is the time to go to simply sample their food and partake in some very nice quality drinks! Their salads are off the charts good, the pretzel bites are awesome, their fries are very good, the wings are rather small but very good, and the flatbreads are below standards when compared to their other foods! The drinks are of a very nice quality, perhaps a bit small, but the margaritas that I have had are extremely tasty! My biggest complaint to this point has been the slow service, especially for drinks, and the fact that they advertise breakfast starting at 7am for which I was turned away about two weeks ago for not having a cook on hand at 8am?? read more

My wife, son and I went here for the first time for dinner last week. While the place was crowded and looked nice it was not a good experience. We arrived at 6:45 and the sever we had didn't bother let us know that happy hour went till 7 and by the time she came back to get our drinks it was past 7. The appetizers were the sole highlight of our meal. The entrees were below average, none of us enjoyed them. As a topper - we ask for extra sauce and by the time they delivered it we were done eating but they still added the charge to our bill.
