I've become a repeat customer here for many reasons, but there are a few that stand out well above…read more Good help is hard to find, and these guys have proven to be masters of the art form, I trust them with all of my portfolio. They have built my customer Turbo Harley Porsche Night Rod from the ground up, and improvised at every obstacle to create an amazing machine. They also installed the 330mm wide tire on this bike and it's always admired at every supercar or motorcycle event. Next they built my Naturally Aspirated Harley Night Rod Porsche, improvising with the ape hangers, rear view mirrors and heat shrinking around all cables and wires to creatively create a show quality product. They have also implemented wireless phone, charging holders, strategically. Next up, they will be applying their master craftsmanship to install digital temperature sensors, reading the oil and water temperatures across both my Harley bikes, especially the turbo bike. I recently added a carbon fiber, Ducati V4 S and I will continue to use this company as they have proven excellence in the field of motorcycle mechanic perfection.

Motorcycle Tire Center (MTC) is very unprofessional and incompetent! My 2013 Harley Davidson…read morewouldn't start after a ride. After calling MTC and getting a diagnostic quote from Luke, I had my motorcycle towed to MTC, Luke said I would get a call with the results. After not hearing anything for 3 days, I went to the shop. I was told by the mechanic (Victor) the issue was multiple things. I then was told the ECM could could be the issue. I was told to have my motorcycle towed to my house while waiting for the part to arrive. When the part arrived, I called and spoke with Luke again. I asked to speak with Victor, instead of Victor coming to the phone, he relayed messages through Luke, who knew nothing. I checked my bike for any missing parts before returning to MTC. I found a cross threaded seat bolt, 3 missing batwing bolts, missing battery, and the new thottle by wire part Victor had me purchase was missing. When I got back to MTC Victor had to search for the parts among a collection of pieces & parts. He gave me what he thought might be my parts. I was told he couldn't find my battery, but tried to sell me a new one. I now have my motorcycle in worst condition than before taking it to MOTORCYCLE TIRE CENTER!

I just want to share how grateful I am for Brian Heslington,…read morethe owner of Moonshine Industries. I was referred to him by a friend from BACA for what I thought was just a starter problem. It turns out Brian discovered something far more serious--a bolt from the carburetor had fallen into the piston cylinder of the forward jug, which is what seized up my engine. Thankfully, Brian not only found the problem, but because of his respected relationship with the company that had previously done the top-end work and carburetor calibration, he was able to show them their mistake. As a result, the repairs were covered under warranty. I'll save the details of who did that earlier work for another time--but I do want to say this: in an industry where not everyone always operates with honesty and integrity, Moonshine Industries is the real deal. They are professional, trustworthy, and the best at what they do. From here on out, Brian and his team will get all of my repair work, and I'll be recommending them to all of my riding friends and contacts. Brian, I truly hope this post helps bring more clients your way--because our community needs more people like you. Thank you, Brian, and thank you, Moonshine Industries.

I met Tyler over at Hollywood Electrics when he was working on my new (back then) 2018 Zero DSR…read more That bike has about 60k miles on it now...and that's a credit to him! He's taken care of all of the preventative maintenance and all of my off script requests. Not only on my Zero...but also on my Indian... He's got top notch skill and cares about the details. AND he takes the time to talk and explain what and why...never seems rushed. So chill... I would trust him with ANY issue on ANY bike. I would 100% recommend Tyler at Motowerkz to anyone!

I've known Tyler from Hollywood Electrics days and followed him to two other locations to work on…read moremy bike. In the last couple of months, the battery cells on my Zero motorcycle became too unbalanced and Tyler said he had a healthy (used) battery he was looking to sell. The front wheel of my Zero had also been making noises, so I refrained from riding it for several months while I proactively saved pennies on the dollar to afford to replace the battery and fix the front wheel. I do not own any other vehicle except this motorcycle. I finally took it in to Tyler and explicitly told him to look at the front wheel. He said it was "probably just age". I paid $400 up front so he could buy a part to retrofit the used battery to my bike model and an additional $2300 for the battery & labor. While picking up the bike, he made no mention of the front wheel. Exactly two weeks later with minimal rides, the front wheel gave out while on the freeway. Turns out the bearings needed to be replaced and had Tyler looked closely at the front wheel instead of just a standard test ride (which would have been done regardless), the problem would have been resolved before it got worse. In fact, he tried to justify his expertise by stating that I had only requested a bearings replacement on the rear wheel several months before. The front wheel got severely damaged from worn out bearings and front wheels are not available except on the used market. Luckily I did not get hurt. I'm out $2700 and my bike is effectively only good for parts or the scrapyard. While Tyler had allowed my bike to stay at his shop awaiting a potential replacement wheel, he would have charged $200 to transport it back to me, in addition to the $160 I paid AAA to tow it to him, so I'd be out an additional $360, over $3000 total. I trusted Tyler's expertise and now I have no motorcycle. He's been reliable in the past but this negligence & lack of properly diagnosing the issue was not only disappointing but he has shown zero accountability and would not recommend him or Motor Werks.
