There are couple of Harleys and a Ninja in my Garage all needing some TLC . One is my beautiful 22 year old Heritage Softtail , the love of my life. Which apparently Harley Dealerships won't service after its 20 birthday. So I went and visited Jeff before the holiday to give him the low down on all the Bikes. He said let's work on them after the Holidays. So I had my Daughter Sportster 48 towed by AAA . I met the bike Cycle City. When I told Jeff what I wanted to do on the bike. He said you may not need all that. Let me take a look at it put it up on the lift and we'll see. There was an issue where Harley had kinked the gas line which was causing constant backfiring. It had been a while so the hose was pretty much trashed. Jeff had to order one. Kept in constant contact with me to let me know what was going on. I picked up her bike yesterday. I wrote it home, which is no easy task because she's a foot shorter than me in the bike is made for her. But man, the bike ran perfectly. For the first time the Reinhardt pipes sound sounded great. Rode like a champ. Even though my knees were up on my ears. I picked up the bike by dropping off my heritage. I picked that up today which needed an oil change at least and ask Jeff. Hey just check it out. I had a feeling some things need to be done to it. Jeff called me and said hey, you are metal on metal with your brakes. That kind of makes sense! That's probably why the bike wasn't stopping so quickly! So I told Jeff go ahead and replace them. In like no time he had them replaced, oil changed and the bike just checked out. So he said hey come on and pick it up.. Today I dropped off my ninja which everyone learns from. So it's kind of scratched up from falling and we wrapped it to cover the scratches. I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow. As I've never actually ridden that bike and it was super fun to ride. Can't wait to see how it rides after Jeff gets through with it tomorrow! When I drop off our other sportster 48. Jeff knows I'm spending a lot on four bikes so he's making sure that he is as sensitive to cost as possible. Totally happy with everything he's done so far. When I walked in I was in a foreign land. I was pleasantly greeted and welcomed by Colin. He helped me pick a helmet first. I thought this would be simple but turns out my head is tiny! Colin walked me through trying on MANY helmets all the while giving me helmet info, explaining the safety ratings, and do's and don'ts about them. The XS helmets were all big on me except one that was too small. So he suggested a helmet with mips ( how knowledgeable do I sound ) and added pads that he changed out for me. It felt customized! Didn't slid forward, all that stuff. I also got a jacket. He told me about the safety rating for the jackets and was so helpful. At checkout Colin made a suggestions for my helmet that I bought. When I got home and tried my helmet on I realized how much he nailed it with the helmet and suggestions. I totally trust his knowledge about the gear in their store and will absolutely be back when I'm ready for more stuff. IMO Colin is the GOAT jr. I say this cause there was a girl there who was obviously a real GOAT expert. She was like a living Google search. She knew EVERYTHING off the top of her head. When you cannot find something in person, you can ask the cashier desk or lookup on their website to see if they could bring the item out from the warehouse. They are willing to let you take your time to make sure you are happy with the item before purchase. For over 3 years, I have purchased hundreds of dollars worth of chemicals, pads, and other supplies because there is a lot of comfort seeing the items in person before purchase where I rather pay the 10% premium compared to online competitors to make sure this store is still around for me to come back and enjoy the inventory. You never really know what you will get with online only shopping. My only complaint is wishing they were closer to central OC instead of being close to 5/405 freeway merger.

Yet, after paying nearly $4,000 for a re-gear service, I discovered a massive gear oil leak covering my driveway the very next morning due to an improperly secured axle. This left my driveway stained and reeking of gear oil--with professional cleaning estimates ranging from $400 to $600--and I spent the entire weekend in anxiety, questioning whether my truck was even safe to drive, and eventually having to return it on Monday, which disrupted my business. During this process, I was communicating with my assigned service advisor, but responses were often delayed, unclear, or evasive; messages went unanswered, questions were redirected, and clear answers were difficult to obtain. When I brought the truck back, it was described as "just a loose axle" and claimed fixed, yet no documentation was provided proving that the differential or internal gears were inspected after I had driven it for an hour while leaking. Their claim that "there is no problem" or "everything is fine" is something no reasonable person could trust. With re-gear work, any mistake or improper setup often only becomes apparent after several thousand miles of driving. This is why a formal guarantee is not just a request, but a necessity. When I requested a formal written warranty, they only gave me a $0 invoice with no actual warranty terms or duration. For days, I calmly requested two very reasonable things: a formal written warranty and a fair resolution for the driveway damage. I never demanded compensation for emotional distress or lost business time; I simply asked for accountability. After experiencing this, I looked through other reviews and realized that my experience was not an isolated incident. I strongly urge everyone to READ THE 1-STAR REVIEWS FIRST before coming here. You will see a chilling and habitual pattern: dodging responsibility, being 'afraid of standing behind their work,' and sneakily adding extra charges--then claiming they are unavoidable. In fact, I later realized the overcharge I experienced was just a small fraction compared to what others have reported. You will also notice that the owner's responses to negative reviews are always the same--robotic, defensive, and dismissive. They publicly ask customers to 'contact us' to give the appearance of being helpful, but it is nothing more than a deceptive marketing tactic. [UPDATE: Response to the Owner's Reply] The owner's response below is exactly what I warned about: a robotic, defensive excuse that shifts the blame. They claim a 'failed C-clip' on an aftermarket part, but as any professional knows, this is a clear sign of improper installation, not a part failure. They also claim they 'verified' no internal damage, yet they provided zero technical proof or a detailed inspection report after I drove with no oil for an hour. Mentioning a '90-day warranty' now is laughable--if that were true, why did they refuse to provide a formal written warranty when I asked for it repeatedly for days? Their response is just another marketing tactic to look responsible in public while remaining unaccountable in private. My filing with the BAR and the credit card dispute will proceed as planned.

They had a look at my water heater and determined it needed to be replaced. We had been wanting to get a new tankless water heater for quite some time but my husband wanted to wait until we were in need of replacing our current hot water heater tank. Steve gave us a quote for replacing our current 75 gallon water heater with a tankless Navien model that would go in our garage in the same place as our old water heater. The price was fair and we agreed to go with the work. Later that morning Efficient Plumbing ordered our tankless water heater, delivered it, removed our old water heater and installed the new tankless water heater for us. They did an amazing job with all the necessary modifications to make the conversion from tank to tankless and we were thrilled with the end result. We now have endless hot water that we once never had. Efficient Plumbing has once again came to our rescue when we have been in need of a plumber! They are the best plumbers and I will continue working with them on any future projects or improvements that we may need.

This is any homeowners nightmare and I called Efficient Plumbing right away. We have used them for many years and sadly this wasn't our first water leak. Evelin answered the phone and walked me through on how to shut the water off to the house immediately to stop the water damage. Hector came out within the hour and got to work diagnosing our issue. He is knowledgeable and very experienced and we always feel like we are in good hands. Our ceiling was opened and it turned out to be a copper pin hole leak on the water line in the ceiling above the dining room that feeds our master bathroom. Hector skillfully repaired the water leak and also advised us to consider a whole house repipe since this was not our first leak. They gave us their estimate the same day for the whole house repipe and even offered to credit the repairs made with Hector towards the repipe which was a big help. We decided to move forward and had them repipe our whole house the following week. They got it done in one day and everything went great! A few days later the drywall was patched up and we were all done! There are many many plumbers in our area but after years of consistent quality workmanship and customer service, I only use and trust Efficient Plumbing.

I recently put new tires and wheels on it, but the shocks and suspension definitely needed work. I found Suspension Plus via Yelp. I spoke to the owner Ben who was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He gave my truck an inspection on the lift. He was adamant about not selling me parts I did not need. He understood my concerns about eliminating squeaks and groans of old suspension, and making the vehicle safe for my family. He identified what needed to be replaced, and what parts were still structurally sound. He showed me himself under the truck what was good and what was not, and also suggested new brake pads and rotors. I made an appointment for the following day, and all work was completed on time without any additional cost behind the estimate. My truck is now squeak free, stops great, and the gaps between the front and rear tires in the wheel wells is the same so truck has a much better, modern look. This is a full service shop and I will definitely be back with some of my other vehicles. Thank you to Ben and the guys at Suspension Plus. Would highly recommend.

I have no idea what some of these other reviewers are talking about. Steve came out and replaced the rear tube on my bike yesterday and was quick and concise. Everything he does is right out in the open and you can see him do every move. No "Oz behind the curtain" here. Steve also pointed out a couple of things that could benefit me on the maintenance of my bike and shared some useful information on what oil would be better to use than the one I was using. So not only did he do the job I asked him to do but he also shared his knowledge for free. The best part is Steve didn't try to scare the bejeezus out of me to get more business like Huntington Honda is famous for. He made his suggestions and I will mull over what I do next. The convenience is a breath of fresh air also, instead of lugging my bike to a shop Steve pulls the truck up to my carport and does the work right there. For all my needs in the future I will call Mobile Motorcycle Mechanics. I HIGHLY suggest you do the same. You will be very pleased. read more

About three years ago my motor was lowing smoke bad. I decided to try Steve out since I did not want to drive it. Got it to his location and he recommended a top end. Which, I agreed too. The motor has been running strong ever since. Then I asked if he could do two custom hinge brackets for me. I brought him the parts and he cut and extended my hinges. I was actually there on the first mount. They work great! Believe me this was a geometric wonder. Super kudos! He's also diagnosed my electrical/stereo problem and fixed. Since then I've used him for many issues. Including, most recently a front suspension noise which he correctly diagnosed. I rarely spend the time to give reviews much less five star but his knowage and work is why I am. read more

Contacted mobile motorcycle mechanics to work on my 2015 kawasaki KX450. Was having problems with my bike running. Originally wanted to do the work myself but after talking with them they told me it would be a great idea to have them come out and diagnose the issue before I started tearing it apart myself. Well I sure am glad I had them come out, I had fuel in my oil which ended up being top end motor work needed to be done. I had them do the repairs, which were beyond my level of expertise 1 and way went way above and beyond my expectations as for communication, customer service and timeliness. Steve is the most horrible motorcycle mechanic on the face of this planet!!!! this man, Steve Rasmussen, is a fraud!!! he destroyed my motorcycle by putting it together wrong because he does not know what he is doing. Steve also lies about his so called certifications in motorcycle mechanics, thoroughly checked this out on-line, they are non-existent! This man caused several dollars of damage to my motorcycle!!!! I was planning a long ride with 12 friends and my 2012 Road Glide needed some attention plus a new front tire. I have used Steven in the past and he had done a great job. Steve was great. I have a 1976 Honda cb550 custom build. Steve rebuilt the engine from the ground up. When I first got this restore rebuild, I knew the engine was old and full of rotten seals and gaskets. Steve pulled the whole motor apart. He called me and suggested we send it off to his machinist. The engine came back brand new and after Steve rebuilt it, tuned it and got her back in the bike... it fired up immediately. No choking or coughing. The thing is a monster for an old 550. He recommended we do a upgrade on the valves. Been using Steve for years. read more

This place Rocks!!! Heard about it from my neighbor and had to check it out as I'm local and live right down the road. Took my Santa Cruz in on a Monday had it back by Wednesday which was awesome. Upon picking my bike up, Josh wheeled it up and told me he accidentally dropped a tool on the frame causing a small scratch. No big deal at all! The fact that he was completely honest and took care of the bill goes miles, even as I was willing to pay. I highly recommend this shop! You will not be disappointed. I have taken my WR250R to Steve 3 times so far this year, for various things including regular service, clutch rebuild, fork seals, and he even installed my new exhaust/header/EFI programmer. He is a cool guy and knows what he is doing, and I love the fact that I can watch him do work on my bike and ask questions along the way. Excellent service & pricing; Steve is extremely knowledgeable and gets straight to the issues. I told him the problem I was having and went straight to work. After completely rebuilding my carburetor and replacing my fuel line, my bike was running much better after the repairs than before it had even stopped. There are couple of Harleys and a Ninja in my Garage all needing some TLC . One is my beautiful 22 year old Heritage Softtail , the love of my life. Which apparently Harley Dealerships won't service after its 20 birthday. So I went and visited Jeff before the holiday to give him the low down on all the Bikes. He said let's work on them after the Holidays. So I had my Daughter Sportster 48 towed by AAA . I met the bike Cycle City. When I told Jeff what I wanted to do on the bike. He said you may not need all that. Let me take a look at it put it up on the lift and we'll see. There was an issue where Harley had kinked the gas line which was causing constant backfiring. It had been a while so the hose was pretty much trashed. Jeff had to order one. Kept in constant contact with me to let me know what was going on. I picked up her bike yesterday. I wrote it home, which is no easy task because she's a foot shorter than me in the bike is made for her. But man, the bike ran perfectly. For the first time the Reinhardt pipes sound sounded great. Rode like a champ. Even though my knees were up on my ears. I picked up the bike by dropping off my heritage. I picked that up today which needed an oil change at least and ask Jeff. Hey just check it out. I had a feeling some things need to be done to it. Jeff called me and said hey, you are metal on metal with your brakes. That kind of makes sense! That's probably why the bike wasn't stopping so quickly! So I told Jeff go ahead and replace them. In like no time he had them replaced, oil changed and the bike just checked out. So he said hey come on and pick it up.. Today I dropped off my ninja which everyone learns from. So it's kind of scratched up from falling and we wrapped it to cover the scratches. I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow. As I've never actually ridden that bike and it was super fun to ride. Can't wait to see how it rides after Jeff gets through with it tomorrow! When I drop off our other sportster 48. Jeff knows I'm spending a lot on four bikes so he's making sure that he is as sensitive to cost as possible. Totally happy with everything he's done so far. I recently took the Park Tool class with Cory, and now I have a better understanding of what a bike mechanic legend is. His extensive bicycle knowledge was very apparent as soon as I saw him tinkering with bikes or my bike for that matter. I am extremely grateful that I didn't procrastinate or pass on taking the course. It was a fantastic experience and I was able to swap and upgrade parts on my bike "myself"--with Cory's support. I am honored I was able to do this with assistance from Cory. Since then, I have decided that, as long as circumstances allow, I will always take my bikes to their shop for servicing. If the owner after reading the review contacts me and offers to refund part of the $200, I would consider accepting it and updating the review to reflect that they made an effort to resolve the issue. Businesses that respond constructively deserve credit for that, even if the original experience was disappointing.
