Service was so nice here I was so impressed. Their BBQ also tasted juicy and flavorful. We ended up getting two lunch specials for 4 of us since we weren't that hungry and it was perfect. Our server recommended the brisket and it did not disappoint. We ordered coffee in the end but had to take it to go. Since they usually don't serve it to go, they gave it to us in large soda cups with straws which was hilarious because it burnt my uncle's tongue twice, but we really appreciate the effort to give us what we want. The main challenge we have with BBQ joints is the price. We have six kids so it always costs a fortune to go out to BBQ. However, a friend of mine recommended Wubba's and I'm grateful he did. We ate the appetizer party platter, the nachos, and the Up Town Platter. It fed the whole family for under $100, including tip, and we had leftovers enough to feed half of us lunch the next day. The beer-battered cheese curds were probably the favorite on the appetizer platter. Their homemade sausage is delicious and the St. Louis-style ribs were a crowd-pleaser! If you get the nachos make sure to get the grilled jalapeños. Makes all the difference! read more

I can't say anything nice about the food. The brisket was like pot roast without any smoked flavor. The BBQ sauce was way too sweet and I hated the fried onions. I made the grave mistake of ordering a side called cheesy corn. It was like canned corn with BBQ sauce and Velveeta poured over it. I paid $20 for all this crap with a drink to go. This place is hands down the best bbq in town. The service is amazing! I have watched it grow from when it was just the shack to now. The cooks care about the food and always are trying something new to keep it fresh. The servers are always on top of it. My recommendations for lunch are: 1. Wubbarito with chopped chicken 2. Chopped chicken tacos For dinner: 1. Tri tip feast 2. Baby back ribs 3. Applewood smoked chicken And the salads are always amazing! Smoke shack salad is my favorite! Beer selection is always on point and the sweet tea is great. They do get busy sometimes but I have even had the owner comp my meal because of the wait. After driving for 8 hours from San Jose, California, the first thing we wanted to do when we crossed the Oregon border was to stuff our tummy, tax-free style! Since Wubba's has so many positive reviews, we looked forward to giving it a try. Overall, nothing spectacular. In fact, most of what we had seemed sub-par. We ordered the combo meal, which came with their award winning sausage, Saint Louis ribs, and pulled pork. The meats were a bit dry and the sauce (which drenched all the meats... making them all tasting the same) lacked complexity, and it was a little too much on the sweet side for me. The sausage had coriander seeds in them, which added flavor but I didn't like it that much after the first two bites. The Saint Louis ribs were OK, Matt B. enjoyed it but the meat seemed a bit underdone since it wasn't falling off the bones. For the sides, we got their chili and corn fritters. The chili's got an interesting beer taste to it, but it wasn't something so amazing and special to rave about. What I really liked was the corn fritters. Even though they were kind of dry too, I really liked the sweet taste of corn in those hot fritters! We also got an order of beer battered fried cheese curds, but it was way too similar to fried mozzarella sticks (except in ball form) that I didn't find it amusing, and I didn't really taste the batter... but we did finish it since it was the first dish to hit the table and we were starving! This place was packed on a Friday night and for good reason! We were met with a nice hostess and then places at a table more than big enough for our family of six. The atmosphere was nice with lots of old country things, making you feel comfortable and relaxed. The food was just incredible. We got the family platter and the ribs were amazing! They just fell off the bones and the fries were to die for! They were seasoned perfectly and also the mashed potatoes were quite good as well. We liked it so much that we came back the next day and had it for dinner again, as it was so good and also under $50 for all six of us to eat and be full! Highly recommended! read more

Pretty good! We stopped by Wubba's on the way between Crater Lake National Park and Lassen Volcanic National Park and I was pleased with the food and service. Ate at Wubba's while on honeymoon in Klammath. I picked it based on the yelp reviews and was so glad I did. My husband is a super picky eater but he loved the tri tip and cheesy bacon mashed potatoes. I got the "wet Wubba" sandwich. It was awesome, especially the onion strings on top. Every year, en route from San Francisco to Bend, OR (for my family reunion), we stop at Wubba's. We've now stopped there for five straight years, so I feel a review is appropriate. Wubba's rules the bbq roost. The area of Klamath where Wubba's is leaves a lot to be desired, but Wubba's is definitely a diamond in the rough. It's very clean, great interior design and vibe, wonderful food, and the most friendly, attentive wait staff. I always get some version of the pulled pork and it is always perfectly tender and flavorful. Our daughter loves the mac n cheese. The only thing i need now is a Wubba's t-shirt. If you are passing through Klamath, i recommend bypassing the nicer downtown and heading straight for Wubba's. You'll enjoy it. read more

I happened to be in K-Falls for a ball game and and was looking for someplace to grab a bite before game time but absolutely did not want 'fast food'. Wow, was I in for a pleasant surprise!. This place was super close to Kiger Stadium and absolutely delilsh! The service was fast, friendly and the price was right! I could have spent that much at McD's getting a meal deal and the food here was MUCH better. I had the Porkin Hottie with corn fritters. The BBQ was smokey and tender and full of flavor. This time we had a combo with baby back ribs, chicken, and sausage. The ribs were similar to last time - a little more cured than I'd like them, but still good. I found the chicken to be on the plain side, but my companion liked it best of all. Conversely, I preferred the somewhat unusual sausage , which was cut in large slices and fried, and was a little spicy. The macaroni salad wasn't really worth eating and the beans were on the sweet side, but as before the fries are good and the corn fritters are tasty. Hands down, the best BBQ in K Falls, and certainly better than many other places too. The ribs are a bit spendy, but so worth the splurge. YUM. Fabulous fries too. When we want an easy night of take-out we'll order some pulled pork and bring it home to make our own sandwiches ( a bit healthier and much less expensive this way). Their bbq sauce is to-die-for, and we always try to keep some on hand at home for whatever comes up (about $3.50 for a pint). They offer sit down service and lots more sides at their new location by Big Lots. I still prefer the original drive-through on Austin, though. This is specifically about Wubba's food truck thats parked up by sky Lakes Hospital across from Abby's. My mother and I went there for lunch after a medical procedure. The young lady who waited on us needed some training. She wasn't even sure of the menu. We both ordered tri tip sandwich meals. The French roll bread was horribly dried out and the meat was also very dry and tasted like they microwaved it to heat it up. We couldn't hardly chew through it. Then I walked back to pick up our meals. I had baked beans as my side order. They had no plastic eating utensils for any of the sides and offered me a smaller cup to drink my beans. My mother got a Philly sandwich and it was awful as well. The total for our bill was $26 without drinks. All they have is three diet Pepsi products for drinks and no water. The only good thing I can say about the whole situation was that the young man that was preparing the food apologized for not having utensils and didn't charge me for my meal. I say meal lightly as I could not eat the baked beans without utensils.My mothers Philly steak sandwich was still $13 and not worth any of it. The only other nice thing that I can say Is that their french fries were the bomb. Needless to say, we won't be returning. read more

We went there for dinner on a Friday night, called ahead to make reservation and they said they don't take reservation for 2 people. the host and waitress were very friendly and the food was amazing delicious BUT I don't suggest you go there hungry because the wait was so long to be seated then after we were seated and placed our order, it took them more than an hour to bring the food, we were starving and upset so bad that didn't enjoy the food as much as we would if they didn't make us wait for almost 2 hours. This had a lot of great reviews so we thought we'd check it out after our first two choices were out of business. Soooo glad we tried Wubba's as we passed through town. We split the tri tip dip and it could be the best we ever had. It was thinly slice and very light; a perfect sandwich. We ordered the side of potato salad which had bacon (bacon!) and was really good. Also tried the tequila lime salad with chicken; delicious and fresh. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. They have regular tables and also a few high tables plus booths for seating options. Bathroom was clean. Overall the only concern is a slightly slippery floor but it's worth the risk to eat here and it really wasn't too bad. Just go slow! So great!!! read more

If luke-warm mediocre food is what you crave eat here! First of all, it appears to me that Wubba's wants to sell me the idea of barbecue, can't pull it off. The 'juicy' Foie Gras that they are marketing as pulled pork really got me. Okay it wasn't totally pate, but it was stringy and super mushy.I ordered a sandwich and the bun was soaked, but not with juice, it was water from a steam pan. The meat was colored with orange, I suppose on some deprived planet it can be said this is sauce. Tasteless and luke warm on a white bun. Well, they can't make a sandwich for sit down. So I will skip to an event they catered for us. This time a huge pan of barley meaty ribs in cold sauce. These ribs were mostly bone not a decent bit of meat present.The pulled pork was floating,soaked in water, not juices, orange hued and tasteless. Our rice, was hard and had to be the most sticky glue that could not be served I have ever seen. The corn on the cob was dry in areas, shrunken dry kernels in areas like decorative corn! Did I mention it was tiny bits of frozen corn on the cob?? Horrible! Gnarly coleslaw with some specks of dark discoloration on the cabbage, saturated in plain mayonnaise and water. No flavor. Just foul. My guests complained the whole time. Initially, many were excited because they never tried Wubba's. They believed that they were getting a treat. We bought into the Wubba's hype. All we got was cold garbage. Believe me, skip this place and go to phony Red's. Or better yet, DIY. Even a novice can do better than this hole. read more

Stopped for lunch while passing through Oregon. Was totally worth it although it was quite a lot of food & not fun to be so full when you're stuck driving for hours upon hours. I was quite pleased from my cheese curd appetizer & watery ranch dip, bottomless sweet tea & just the right amount of spice in my smoking hottie sandwich. We only lived in KFalls for about 9 months for my husbands job and we LOVED WUBBA'S! Now that we are back home in Springfield we REALLY miss it! Every time we've been there, we've gotten the different family meals...with the different meats, and it's alllllll delicious!
