    Maple iced raised donut
    Kayla L.

DELICIOUS donuts! We went at 4pm in a Tuesday and to our surprise they still had a few options! They have cookies, cupcakes, donuts, and various other pastries as well as cakes - custom too! I went with a maple raised and boy did I make the right choice! So so soft and fluffy and the maple frosting was perfection! They also offer coffee and tea, next time I'm in I'll have to come earlier in the morning and try it out!

I have been a lifelong customer of Wuolett's Bakery at 50th and France. My mom ordered everyone of my birthday cakes from Wuoletts Bakery. I planned the theme, flavor, and cake for everyone of my Birthdays.. I ordered a dozen Easter cupcakes from the Wayzata location for my families brunch. I picked them up yesterday and they were in 2 plastic boxes, not the signature white boxes that I have had for all of my other previous orders and they did not resemble the Holiday cupcakes that I always picked up. If I wanted boxed cupcakes I could have gone to Lunds and paid $6.99 a half dozen, instead I paid over $40 for a dozen cupcakes squished in a box with some plastic figures on top. My kids joked about my Cub Foods cupcakes and I relplied no these are y Wuollets. I am sad that you have cheapened the ingredients, and product but kept the big price tag. I will never order anything from your bakery again,I can go to the grocery store and get boxed cupcakes. From the frosting, cake batter and packaging this was truly disappointing... $40 should buy me Magnolia Bakery cupcakes which are truly worth the money. My memories of Wuoletts were wonderful, but now time to move on.

This place was my go-to for brownies and bars in the past. I don't know what happened in recent months, but the availability has been limited. I asked if they had any brownies but an employee snapped back at me, saying they didn't have any. I then said it's okay if they're frozen (I've bought them frozen in the past) but got no response. I then asked "is what I see what I get?" Again, I got no response. I felt ignored and unwelcome. I left buying just a donut because it had already been packed for me, otherwise I would have left without purchasing anything. The back door was open and I loudly exclaimed about the rude employee. I was heard because the door quickly shut. One extra star just because the donut was fantastic and half price for an odd reason.

Well...kind of disappointed today. Today I went for breakfast, thinking they have egg and full breakfast items like they do at their Edina location. They don't! I was recommended to go across the street to Marna's Café so I did. Nice they recommended that .... and of course their pastries and cakes are still wonderful. Still A-Okay...but disappointed. lol.

I love birthdays. But let's be real, who doesn't like a birthday? It's a day when everyone celebrates you, and showers you with gifts and attention. But when I say I love birthdays I mean more than just referring to my birthday, I'm referring to all birthdays in general. What do I like so much about birthdays? The cake! I am a sucker for cake, but I have to admit, I've also become kind of a cake snob. How did this happen? I kept eating phenomenal cake, and I would ask, "where is this cake from?" To which I was consistently told, "Wuollet Bakery." After discovering Wuollet, my obsession with cake became an all out problem, like a cake addict, I'd roam from birthday to birthday in search of this fantastic desert. But one day, it dawned on me, I can go to the store and buy one for myself. But what kind of person would buy a whole cake and eat it by himself?!? When it's cake this good, it's safe to say pretty much anyone who appreciates a good thing in life would do so. However, thankfully Wuollet offers a healthier alternative, the cupcake. I strongly suggest you get a cup cake, maybe two, if you're feeling strong, maybe just get the whole cake... you won't be let down!

There is a small parking lot on the side of the building and they had a cute sign out front. They are located on a somewhat busy street, so this could make or break some of their business. Ambiance: Inside was huge! This would be a great place to meet with a small group as they have different areas inside to sit and converse. It wasn't very busy when we were there but it was around 1 on a Tuesday. They have a bakery, ice cream counter and boba. They had a bakery case that looked really tasty, so we decided to get 3 items to share. - Lemon macaron - perfection and had a gooey chewiness. We could eat a ton of these. - Eclair - I don't think I've ever had an eclair and now I am questioning why! It was chilled and the perfect amount of filling to outside pastry. The chocolate falls off when you bite it, so eat over a napkin to not lose any pieces. - Chocolate croissant or pastry. I think it was Nutella and it was incredible! Flakey, gooey and everything you'd want it to be. I'm sure you could warm it up and it would elevate it further. Yum! We both got a fruit tea and it was a lot. Sadly, I wouldn't get again as it was too sweet and my boba tasted like ramen noodles. (It actually made me hungry for ramen). My teen got the strawberry milk tea and even said it was sickly sweet and she needed the ice to sit. Overall, I didn't love the boba... but I would recommend the pastry! They also had some decadent looking muffins and cake slices. If in the neighborhood, stop in! I think they should make a Macaron ice cream sandwich! The woman that helped us was so sweet and patient while we took forever to decide what we wanted.

What I Ordered: *Chocolate Cheesecake - 10/10....This was absolutely DEVINE! Do not pass this up! Very rich with 3 layers but pairs great with Coffee. Hard fudge like top, Chocolate Cheesecake Mousse type middle with I believe Oreo cookie base. *Chocolate Croissant & Strawberry/Cream Cheese Croissant - 8/10...Great Flavor & tasted very fresh. *Eclair - 8/10....Typical Eclair Flavor. Wish it was a little bigger Large interior with plenty of seating. Come support your neighborhood bakery & check it out.

I attended solo but luckily really liked the group I was assigned to. We wanted everyone to work on things they enjoy and allowed everyone to try some parts of the important tasks (making pasta and pastry dough). Your enjoyment might really depend on what your group is like. You can buy wine and beer to drink while you take the class, and those were reasonably priced I thought! $9 for a glass of wine and I think $8 for beer. The class was chaotic since we were making three courses and things needed to be done at different times, but the chaos felt like how it really is in a kitchen making multi course menus, so that didn't bother me! The assistants were great and helped us stay on track and helped if we were struggling with anything. I can't say I learned much from the class (which is why I only gave 4 stars), but I sure had a lot of fun!

Dahlia started as a pop up but I hadn't heard of them until their storefront opening in January 2026. The photos alone are enough to make anyone who loves a good pastry curious, so I went on a Sunday morning around 10am. A good amount of people occupied the scattered picnic benches outdoors but there was no line inside and items came out quickly. Dahlia's branding is whimsical and creative and plays nicely off MN Nice Cream's color theme. You are immediately drawn to the pastry case, filled with picture perfect pastries, of which I am sometimes skeptical, for can they taste as good as they look? In Dahlia's case, I think allllmost. The Strawberry Rhubarb Bear Claw: A massive pastry with the classic finger like "bear claw" projections with their own numerous layers. The ratio of filling to croissant dough was decent; I definitely appreciated the strawberry rhubarb compote but was missing the reported vanilla pastry cream component. The outside was dusted in a brown sugar crumble with delicate laces of vanilla icing. It was beautifully made with excellent layers and unique flavors. I really liked the sourdough croissant too, so different than any croissant dough I've come across. I think the topping was just slightly stale and wish there had been a bit more cream in the filling, but otherwise a solid pastry. The Italian Sandwich: Actually beautiful looking and just as lovely to taste (as per my friend's review). House made focaccia hugs thinly sliced salami, capicola and ham along with pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, garlic aioli, arugula, and cold, crisp red onion. The sandwich didn't fall apart and seemingly nailed the proportions of each ingredient. I think paying $10.25 for a pastry is steep (black walnut bakery sells a bear claw for $5.25 that admittedly is better), however, I can appreciate the effort and energy that goes into these pastries. And especially being a new business operating only Thursday - Sunday, I think it is tolerable for now. I just worry that people may not make Dahlia a consistent part of their Sunday morning if they are paying nearly double for their treat.
