Chicken fried rice
Maggie M.

Decor was really pretty. They have a bridge outside great for photos. Inside lots of cherry blossom trees and the inside is huge. We sat at the Hibachi table and it can seat up to 20ppl. Chef was entertaining and the table had lots of room for your appetizers and drinks. We ordered the Godzilla roll. Really big and filling. Came with side of wasabi and ginger slices. They do have the both green and red top soy sauce. I didn't know they had green until I saw someone collecting them at the end of the day. Had the hibachi chicken and salmon and my husband had the steak and shrimp. Comes soup and ginger salad. I don't like ginger so I asked for no salad. But the salad looked fresh. The chicken fried rice and the thick noodles were really good. The veggies were a bit salty. The steak was cooked perfectly at medium and the shrimp were pretty big. But the steak and shrimp were really salty. My chicken and salmon were seasoned well, but the chicken was cooked a bit too well/dry. I didn't get the 2 pieces of shrimp and the chef have forgotten and gave them to someone else at our table. Honestly with all the food and being really salted, I didn't bother to ask for those 2 shrimps. Had the white peach sangria was really good. They offer a choice of vanilla ice cream or rainbow sorbet. Sorbet was really good. Great for large group parties with great decor and entertaining chefs. Waiter is really nice and refilled our waters. Lots of food. But the food is probably a hit or miss with salt. Flavors were good though.

Definitely a great experience. It wasn't too busy on a Tuesday. We opted for the hibachi. I got the steak and shrimp. Definitely a lot of food and it was delicious. The entertainment was great. They add an 18% gratuity on the bill just fyi.

Before you even walk into the building, there is a beautiful bridge and giant teapot fountain outside. Once you walk in, an open space full of reds lanterns and pink sakura trees present a stunning visual treat to digest, definitely Instagram/TikTok worthy. Service is incredibly fast and friendly. Hibachi seating is communal. If you're a group of 2, you will get seated with other parties, an excellent way to make new friends. Unfortunately for us, when we sat down, after a 15 minute wait, no additional parties joined us. So it was just our duo, which in hindsight, was a private chef experience! In terms of food, you get huge portions for the price point. There is soup and salad as an appetizer and a sweet finish with a scoop of ice cream at the end of your meal. Dinner and a show. You get your choice of protein. Vegetables. 2 options of carbs, a fried rice/ or plain white rice AND noodles. So here I am raving about the service, the ambiance, and the portions. So why 3 stars instead of 5. It comes down to the actual taste of the food. It tastes good. You get a lot for the price. The issue is that everything kind of tastes the same? Monotonous. The fried rice, vegetables, noodles, and protein.... They're all cooked in the same homemade garlic butter. There's a dash of salt & pepper here, a splash of secret house sauce there, and a spritz of cola to dazzle. The overall flavor profile of everything was sweet and paired with the only condiment offered is the yum yum sauce and it too, is tasty, but fell flat after a few bites. In terms of taste, it's missing the remaining 4 out of the 5 basic fundamentals of taste( salty, sour, bitter, & umami). Like for example, yes. I probably could add some salt to the food on my own, but that was not provided on the table. I could have asked. Yes. But again. Shouldn't s dish be properly salted? Or is it salt to taste? For sour components, I ordered scallops, it could use a dash of lemon to brighten the dish. For bitter, not necessarily looking for bitter flavor, but a clove of garlic would have really elevated the vegetables. And lastly umami, a savory component that could have deepen the flavor profile of everything. Overall, definitely worth a try. A great visual experience. An opportunity to sit at the chef's table. And to learn how the food is prepped, cooked, and presented to the consumer.

While visiting my wife's sister and her family in Naperville, Illinois, six of us dined at Wu's House, a Japanese restaurant, on May 25, 2026. This restaurant serves Zabiha/Halal meat. The restaurant has gained considerable popularity for its impressive architecture, hibachi experience, sushi offerings, and upscale ambiance. The grand entrance, complete with a bridge and koi pond, creates an inviting first impression. Inside, the décor is equally impressive, featuring cherry blossom trees, lanterns, and elegant Asian-inspired design elements. The spacious dining areas and hibachi seating add to the restaurant's appeal. The extensive menu includes Japanese, Chinese, and other Asian dishes. We chose several Chinese-style dishes and ordered them family-style for sharing. Due to dietary restrictions, we requested that the sweet sauces be served separately, and our waitress graciously accommodated the request. Although we did not try the hibachi or sushi, many other diners appeared to be enjoying those popular options. The service was excellent throughout our visit. Our waitress, Lucy, was especially courteous, attentive, and welcoming, contributing greatly to the overall dining experience. One point worth noting is the automatic service charge/gratuity. However, unlike some establishments where such charges come as a surprise, Wu's House clearly discloses this policy on its menu. The food is best described as Americanized Asian cuisine rather than highly authentic regional Chinese or Japanese fare. In my view, the prices were reasonable, portions were generous, and the overall value was good. Since this was my first and only visit, I cannot comment on the consistency of food quality over time, but our experience was enjoyable and positive.

My family and I usually visit the Orland Park location, but we checked out the Naperville spot and it's huge! The lobby is incredibly spacious, perfect for accommodating large crowds without feeling cramped. We've dined here on separate occasions for both hibachi and regular dining, and we've enjoyed both experiences. Some of our family favorites include the orange chicken, pineapple chicken, sesame chicken, sushi, and of course, the hibachi. The mango smoothie is always a hit whenever we get it. The hibachi area is roomy and has a fun, lively atmosphere, making it a great choice for both casual dinners and celebrations. The dinner is definitely worth the price with all the sides and appetizers included. We're big fans of Wu's House and love that this location brings the same great quality and experience.

Shrimp and Chicken Hibachi

Was super excited to see a new hibachi restaurant in Naperville! I think this spot is great for birthdays (they will definitely sing to you multiple times just an fyi lol). The hibachi portions were huge and I really enjoyed the yakisoba, which I typically do not expect with hibachi places. It's worth the extra $$ for shrimp as well.

I had a good experience at Wu's House! It's gained some traction since opening and I see why! The interior is beautiful, such a vast different from a lot of the restaurants in Naperville. It's cultural, vibrant, and inviting. The staff are all so kind and genuinely seem happy to serve their guests. The service was good as well. That being said, the quality of ingredients is what made me give 3 stars. The food is just okay, but nothing that I would go talk about or be itching to return for.

It was our first time at Wu's House and it definitely won't be our last! We loved it! This is honestly probably the prettiest restaurant I've ever been to! From the exterior to the interior everything was beautifully decorated. We made it just before their lunch hour ended. I ordered the chicken hibachi and my Husband ordered the steak hibachi. I had a melon flavored alcoholic drink (I forgot the name) and it was sweet but tasty! My Husband had a beer and an old fashioned which he said were also good! Our food was cooked to order and tasted great. Our Chef was very nice and kept us entertained. They even brought out a birthday hat for me, sang to me and also gave me a complimentary dessert. We ordered some chicken fried rice to go (for the kids lol) and their portion sizes were great! Overall I give this place a 10/10. Great food, ambiance and service! Could be that our entire experience was superb because we went on a Monday during lunch and there weren't many people there but I'm happy that we did!

Hey Yelp Family! I just found another gem you've got to check out Wu House in Naperville. The view was stunning, and the vibe made me feel like I was dining in another country warm, beautiful, and inviting. Our server, Lucy, was amazing friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. I was even impressed with the service desk greeting, The food? Absolutely next level. Generous portions and incredible flavor. This I highly recommend you try out.

Lobster Hibachi
Deanna W.

We walked in thinking this would be your typical hibachi experience, but we were in for a ride! This place is more like a music festival held in a warehouse with grills LOL The food and service were great. Food is a bit on the pricey side but the portions were MASSIVE! We had the steak, lobster, shrimp, and chicken and it was all very good. I'm only deducting a star because it was so absurdly loud inside. It was definitely a great spot for a party/birthday/celebration, but would probably skip if you are looking for a romantic or quiet evening.

We've been here three times. I definitely recommend this place however on our anniversary we had a gentleman named, Petra cooking the hibachi. I think he really needs to go back and master the art of how to properly cook and serve the lobster; for this reason only I gave four stars otherwise I would've given five. Mine was definitely chewy did not enjoy it however, the last time I had it, I had a wonderful chef who did a great job. Lots of fun for the family overall great food.

Mojito with a side of simple syrup
Shinette M.

My man and I sat at the bar for a drink while waiting for my cousin. We ordered one mojito. It cost $19.01. We were charged tax and 18% gratuity. It wasn't posted anywhere about automatic gratuity. We made it to our table and were rushed to order because other guest were already at the table...and the chef was about to come. I immediately expressed my distain for being rushed. Our host...Rafly immediately took accountability and apologized and did his best to make the remainder of our experience pleasant! The food was pretty good..a little salty, however; the experience ended up being great thanks to our host! The environment was very clean and entertaining.

Went there for the very first time. It's a small chain and Naperville is their newest location. There located right next to Walmart and Xsport fitness and share the parking lot with them. Plenty of parking, no issues there. Interior of the building is beautiful and excellent ambiance setting. They have the hibachi area separate from the sushi sitting area. Nice and organized. I felt like food quality for the price you pay is not justified. It was oily and tasted subpar. Both me and my friend felt sick after the food. They are significantly pricey compared to the similar or better Japanese restaurants. The thing the annoyed me the most was a mandatory 18% service charge for and one using their sit down service, regardless of the party size (picture attached). I always tip over 20% but seeing this that they are forcing people with a 18% service was very disappointing. On a positive note their customer service was excellent. Based on the lack of food quality and mandatory service fee I will not recommend this place. There are several better options locally that you should try before going here. Overall I felt very disappointed.

First, a standing ovation for the packaging. The broth and noodles arrived completely separate, clearly labeled, and perfectly intact. No soggy noodles, no sad collapsed toppings, no delivery regret. Someone in that kitchen actually thought about how this food travels and it shows. More restaurants take note please. The Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen itself was rich, creamy, deeply warming, and some of the best broth I have had anywhere. I genuinely did not expect to find this level of ramen quality outside of the city. And yet here we are, in the suburbs, slurping our way through a bowl that could hold its own against any ramen shop Chicago has to offer. The pork was beautifully charred and flavorful. The gyoza was excellent. But the Berkshire pork belly buns were the true standout of the night. Fatty, deeply seasoned, pure indulgent decadence in each bite. The kind of thing you think about the next day. Yoshi Ramen will now be our permanent go to ramen spot out here in the burbs and honestly that is a little dangerous given how close it is to home. Our wallets already know.

They got the kids engaged in the convo and ordering off the menu too. Seriously . . .every bite hit -- rich broths, perfectly cooked noodles, and just overall comforting, crave-worthy food. Safe to say we'll definitely be back (maybe next time with a little more self-control... maybe lol).

Our server, Katie, was amazing. She was attentive, funny, and gave great recommendations on both food and drinks. The menu has a wide variety of options, so her guidance definitely helped. We ordered hibachi, which was delicious and a fun experience. The chef put on a great show and even gave us cues for slow motion videos, which made it extra memorable. A few people in our group ordered sushi and said it was really good as well. I had the shrimp dinner and added calamari on the side. The shrimp portion was generous, and everything tasted great. My only complaint is the noodles. They were very thin, similar to Pad Thai noodles, and I personally prefer thicker hibachi noodles. The soup was one of the best I've tasted. The ambiance was cute and spacious, with a cool fish tank and the drinks were a highlight. I had a coconut sake drink that was so good I'd honestly go back just for that. Overall, great food, fun atmosphere, and excellent service. I would definitely return.

My group chose to sit in the sushi lounge since none of us planned to order hibachi. I'd say this place is moderate size when compared to the franchise Benihana.
