After buying around 20 drinks and spending close to $150, I can confidently say I love Wushiland Boba. When they first opened, I used to wait 40 minutes or more. I'd even arrive 15 minutes before opening, and there would already be a line. The hype has died down since then, but the drinks are still just as amazing. One of my favorite features is the app. I can order ahead, skip the wait, and get a text message as soon as my drink is ready. The customer service has always been friendly and helpful. They also seem to have plenty of staff working, usually at least four employees in the front and three in the back, so orders are prepared pretty efficiently. My go-to order is the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with 100% sugar, regular ice, boba + mini boba (it's the same price as getting just boba or just mini boba). If you want the best value, order it with no ice. The drink still comes out somewhat cold, and you can always add ice at home. read more

I had a regular iced milk tea half sweetened. Good for my thirsty tastebuds. Fruit teas, brew teas, yakult drinks, ice cream drinks, milk teas, tea lattes, brown sugar beverages, foam teas, etc. Good selections. Cashier is helpful if you need assistance. You can order at kiosk or over the counter. Simple business. Prices are good for tea beverages during inflation times. Use mobile app as desired. Cheese Foam Ovaltine and Ovaltine Macchiato are on my future bucket list to try. Grass Jelly Milk Tea would be my regular choice. Since their soft/grand opening, I've been there at least 4 times. Each time I went, they got better and more efficient! This Wushiland is located in the food court inside 99 Ranch. Plenty of parking in a lot, but just know this plaza can be a little busy. My favorite is their roasted oolong milk tea with mini pearls, 70% sweet, extra tea shots. Their drinks lean on the sweeter side so I recommend decreasing sweetness if you prefer not too sweet. ALSOO HOT TIP: you can add extra tea shots for free! This would add a stronger tea flavor (be careful if you are more sensitive to caffeine). Heads up, they have ran out of boba mid-day, but this was during their soft opening phase so I think they're still working on the timing of when to replenish ingredients. But that's fine because their mini pearls are still a good alternative :) This is one of my current favorite boba shops in the South Bay, and I always try to go here when I'm nearby! read more

A popular boba tea shop finally makes its way in the Bay Area yay! I went around 6:19 and waited ~25minutes for the order which I didn't mind but seems like the way they operated was not smooth, I heard a lot of mix ups, & some larger orders being pushed out before mine though they ordered later; hopefully it gets streamlined soon as it is still soft opening so I'll give them that!! This time around I got.... -ice cream oolong tea with mini pearls (gotta get the toppings!!!) drink was ok but the star of the show was the ovaltine ice cream tea.... WOWWW It was literally like a malt dessert in drink form, so unique! Ahh I'm so excited that Wushiland boba is finally in the Bay Area! This boba chain used to be a go to for me back in Taiwan. it's great to be able to have it here now. The drinks have a good tea flavor and it's a good value size for the price. My favorite is the Ice Cream Milk Tea, it's basically a ice cream tea float. On a hot day it's perfect because the vanilla ice cream adds a perfect amount of sweetness and blends with black tea into a creamy milk tea. The shop is located inside the Asian grocery store Ranch 99 food court, so there are plenty of seating and you see other food stalls. We visited during the opening weekend so there was quite a crowd and by the time it got to us they ran out of their regular cups so we got the paper cup instead. The staff seemed very apologetic and let us know this is not the standard they uphold. I admire their sense of integrity and insistence on quality, will definitely like to come back and try it at full quality again. read more

This was during soft opening about a week into launching. I understand they are working out the kinks and there will be a learning curve with such a high demand. My review will be things they can improve on for when they officially launch. The line was reaching close to the front of the other food kiosk, I thought they were really busy but in reality, it was being bottlenecked by the ordering kiosk. They had 1 kiosk, and occasionally a person taking drink orders. The drink making was quick, but held up by the ordering process. I came around 5 pm so some of the items were written on a sign that they ran out. When I got my drink, you can clearly see they put way too much boba in the drink. My drink was half filled with boba, that is way too much. I felt like my order was boba and the drink was the add on item. I'm hoping they will change that prior to official grand opening. The drink itself was okay, it might have been difficult to rate when I tasted so much boba. I really enjoy the location in SoCal, so it's exciting to know this is in the bay. Came around 12:30 on Wednesday during their soft opening. I was surprised to see a lot of people in line and waiting for drinks. Despite there only being one kiosk and one person taking orders, the line moved fast. The cashier was kind and quickly took my order. I ordered a roasted oolong milk tea 30% sugar, less ice with boba. My order took about 10-15 minutes to prepare. They were very generous with the toppings around (25-30% of the cup was boba) and I saw that drinks that were ordered with pearls were maybe 50% toppings! A little too much for me but it's nice to see. The drink itself was delicious. The roasted flavor came through and the sweetness was great at 30% (I wouldn't recommend going higher). Located inside 99 Ranch, where there's a couple of restaurant and food spots. Came here on a Saturday afternoon during soft opening. The line was around 25 mins and drinks came out 15-20 mins later. They worked pretty fast for the amount of orders they had. We ordered: - black milk tea with ice cream and boba - roasted oolong milk tea with ice cream and mini boba The tea flavor for both was pretty good but it was milkier and creamier with the ice cream so it diluted most of the tea flavor. Even tho I asked for less boba, the toppings were too generous (a plus if you love more toppings). The cashier was very nice and efficient. You can add an extra shot of tea since they do single, double and triple shot. Adding ice cream and topping feels more like a dessert drink but next time I'll do no boba and no ice cream for more tea flavor. Minus one star bc it's too much boba for my liking. Update: Correcting my review because I was charged the right amount for my drinks in the app. The way they outlined the costs made it a little confusing (I could've read it more closely, my bad). My rating only reflects my review of their drinks and the in person experience. ---------------- I miss 50 lan in Taiwan so I had to stop by for the nostalgia and the small pearls. The first time I went was a pretty long wait, about 20 minutes to order and another 20 minutes waiting for the drinks. Unfortunately they ran out of the small pearls, and I personally didn't like their boba. The roasted oolong milk tea with triple shots was good though. The taro green latte is also nice especially because of the fresh taro. The QQ cube is pretty good and I prefer it over the boba. I ordered ahead via their app the second time, and it was pretty disorganized because there wasn't a corresponding number for my order when I went to pickup. I still had to wait at least 30 minutes for my order which was odd, and my number never showed up on the screen. The black milk tea could've been stronger. The small pearls were satisfying though. Overall I wasn't that impressed this time around. Slightly disappointed that the prices are higher by ordering in the app, especially when it's their own app (not something like DoorDash). I tried their popular Four Seasons Tea with grass jelly, no milk, and an Earl Grey Oat Latte with mini boba, which had the right texture and a generous amount to fill half a cup. All their toppings are an extra $0.80 each. Both teas had caffeine and were aromatic, not too milky. Not too sweet at 30%, but the boba toppings are sweeter. I should order milk tea 0% sugar next time. They still ran out of matcha and certain toppings. It's better to order in person than on the kiosk to receive your order faster. Got mine under 10 minutes. I recommend coming after 3 pm on weekdays for more available seats and tables. read more

I was never able to try their ice cream milk tea series but their mango sorbet black tea really delivered. it's a bit of a trek for me, but if I ever find myself back in the area I'll definitely stop by for another. drinks normally range from about $4 to $8. read more

Super stoked that the Wushiland in Fremont is finally open! I've been hitting up Wushiland in every city we visit for years. I was so surprised that their drinks are really good even during the beginning of their soft opening days. This location serves up the best drinks yet! They should really open up online ordering as the wait times have been wild throughout any day. Drinks are cheaper than most other boba chains and my favorite ones taste the same as they do at 50 Lan locations in Taiwan. The green milk tea with pearls is always my favorite to get. It's nice that you can still accumulate points - you just won't be able to use them until their grand opening. So happy that this location finally opened. The sheer amount of mini boba and boba given is immaculate (if you're a topping lover). What I love on the tablet is that you can adjust if you want less or more toppings given. To me, Wushiland has a less of a tea taste and more of a typical "milk tea" taste. Still delicious but may not be your first choice if you opt for something more tea forward Pros: there are two tablets and one in-person ordering system which makes the line go by fast. The menu offers unique drinks including ice cream based drinks and yakult mixed drinks Cons: The process of handing out the drinks was kinda messy given the space and volume of drinks. Visited on Saturday around 1pm. Their sign says their soft opening goes until June 5. There was a huge line and crowd! But the line moves fast enough, and it takes less than an hour to order and get your drink during this time. The storefront is in the 99 Ranch food court, so it can feel pretty busy and crowded on top of the long line. There are two ordering counters - one self-ordering kiosk, and one in-person counter with who I am assuming might be the supervisor/owner of the shop when I was there. He was very friendly and spoke Mandarin, too. We waited about 30-35 minutes from standing in line to ordering. Most of the line was hung up by some customers not knowing what they want to order and spending a significant amount of time scrolling through the kiosk and choosing their drinks. But the waiting time helped as they were out of pearls and by the time we came up to order, a fresh new batch of pearls was ready. Prices are affordable, and the pearls (small pearls only) portion is HUGE. We waited about 10 minutes for our one drink (black milk tea with pearls). At the moment, they still do not have online ordering via the app yet to figure out their operations, but I will definitely be coming again in the next few months or so when hopefully the crowd dies down/after their grand opening. read more

I went during soft opening on a Sunday afternoon ~4pm. We waited 20 min to order and 20 minutes for our drink (which is not nearly as bad as I thought!) They did put up a sign that pearls would be an addition 25 min wait since they were making a new batch, but I think the pearls are worth the wait. Note: pearls = mini boba. I love the wushiland in SoCal and felt the quality here was the same! The roasted oolong milk tea was very roasty and the green milk tea was very creamy. The pearls (mini boba) were perfectly chewy and they do give a very generous portion of topping. Drinks here are on the sweeter side, so I definitely recommend adjusting sweetness if you're about that "not too sweet" vibe. I also just noticed this time that they offer double shot and triple shots of tea strength. This was considered a soft opening. The lines were fairly long but the amount of workers made up for it. It's located inside the ranch 99 food court and theres plenty of places to sit while you wait. At this time, you can only order from the one kiosk they have. As for the drink, I can't remember what I got but it wasn't overly sweet and had tea flavor. It was one of the signature drinks without milk and included a bunch of toppings. I asked for less ice, but I dont think it included any. That's not a big deal since it's a soft opening and they are working out the kinks. To me, it's just another run of the mill milk tea joints and you dont have to go out of your way to try it. We also got the green tea latte, 30% sweet with boba and the tea was good but the boba was very hard & doesn't taste like the boba at other Wushiland locations. Since it was a warm day, I took my daughter here to purchase a few drinks. We ordered 2 ice cream roasted oolong milk teas (add boba, 1/2 sweet & less ice) and 1 roasted oolong milk tea (add boba & red bean, 1/2 sweet & less ice). We showed up around 12:30pm and there were at least 20 customers ahead of us so our drinks did take a while to be ready. While waiting for our order, I noticed another customer tried to grab our drinks. Good thing I was close by and showed the employee my receipt. So make sure you get a receipt and keep an eye on your number that's on the screen. As soon as we took our drinks to the car, we immediately drank them. My kids' ice cream roasted oolong milk teas were creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. As for my drink, I enjoyed the slight sweetness from the red beans and the fragrance from the tea. This location of Wushiland Boba is located in Warm Springs Plaza inside the Eat Up food court of 99 Ranch Market. Ordering was either on the kiosk or with the employee at the counter. Employees were still getting the hand of things, but friendly enough. I had this chain in SoCal, so it was exciting to see them come up here to the Bay. I was not very fond of my drink from back in SoCal, but I wanted to try them again here. The line was not too bad for a weekend and the wait for the drink was okay - I went to order food in the food court and by the time I got my food, my drink was ready. I ordered their Green Milk Tea with boba and Green Tea Latte with boba. The milk tea was eh, it was a bit bitter and had a stronger tea taste with a very minimal creaminess to it. The tea latte was decent - the better of the two drinks, it was a bit more creamy, which I liked. Overall, it was a decent experience with okay boba, but I would not go out of my way to get boba from here, unless I am here for groceries or food. read more
