Jasmine Green Milk Tea (5/5) I did 50% sweet which I recommend The jasmine tea flavor is strong and tastes high quality :)
Love the packaging love the service and love the drinks but the pick up is quite hectic . I ordered on hungry panda and it took a while for them to look for it and found out they couldn't find the order and had to ask me what I got . The store was quite chaotic as it echos so they also couldn't rlly hear what I said so we were both just kinda yelling at each other lol. But anyhoo. We will come back when in the area.
My cousin from SoCal recommended this Boba place and I'm always down to check out a new Boba spot. I went by after work and picked up three drinks. There was ample amount of parking spaces in the plaza and no line to place my order on the kiosk. The drinks came out fairly quickly and it came in a cute colorful to-go bag. I ordered the green grape jasmine milk tea with regular sugar and less ice. Surprisingly I really enjoyed it because it had a strong fragrant Jasmine tea that was blended well with the green grape flavor. I also got the peach oolong milk tea and the matcha jasmine green milk tea; both were nice, but I preferred the green grape milk tea. Def will be back to try their other drinks.
Charlie's Tea is one of the many Chinese tea stores making its way to the Bay Area, and I was quite impressed! I anticipated a wait but seems like the hype died down. I had plenty of time to decide what to order, and drinks came out reasonably quick. They also offer toppings here which is nice, though it is a pricier addition ($1.29 for boba?!) Overall, I think their tea is solid, but they definitely specialize in fruit-flavored milk teas. I say avoid the plain milk teas as they aren't anything special and IMO are less tea forward than Molly Tea. RECS: + Green grape jasmine milk tea ($6.99) was SO good! I've never had anything like it. The green grape is subtle but refreshing, and it adds a nice touch of sweetness to pair with the jasmine. 50% was just right for me! PASS: + Phoenix oolong milk tea ($6.79) was solid but boring. The tea flavor is pretty weak on its own, definitely tastes washed out by the milk
OK, so I don't love the shopping center that this place is located in because sometimes it is tricky to find parking. But if you do, it's definitely worth the visit. Came in during lunchtime so it was a bit busy and especially because there was a very large order being taken care of, but you're able to order ahead. If not, there are kiosks for you to order the tea. I got the coconut jasmine and it was absolutely delicious!
I finally got to try this spot now that the hype has died down a little and came around 2pm on a Thursday -- there was barely any line and service was fairly fast (~15 minutes) I noticed a lot of people sitting inside doing work at the tables and despite it being pretty busy, it was fairly quiet so it looks like a good spot to study or do work I ordered the phoenix oolong milk tea hoping to have a drink with strong tea flavor but truthfully, the tea flavor was not very strong at all. I think this is the type of milk tea spot for those people who like lighter tea flavor that's more creamy and floral. But I personally like a really strong tea flavor (more like the style at TPT). I'm glad I got to try it but I think next time I'll stick to a fruit tea instead
Another new boba shop in Cupertino! The boba scene keeps growing here lol I decided to try Charlie's Tea since I was having dinner in the plaza. Surprisingly on a Friday evening, there was no line, which definitely worked out in my favor. The interior of the shop was super cute and the decor and furniture reminds me of how shops looked like in China. I waited less than 5 minutes for my drink. For my drink, I ordered a jasmine milk tea and it was great - nothing too crazy, just a good milk tea. The tea flavor was there and the sweetness level was perfect. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but if I was in the area again, I would definitely get a drink from here and try their extensive menu.
Charlie's Tea is in NorCal!!!! Such a coincidence to discover this when I just got back from SoCal where my friend was raving about it in San Gabriel. I had never heard of it and liked it when she bought me a Clovershrub Milk Tea ($6.99) because it was tea forward. So excited to have one in Cupertino! Perfect to have dinner at the plaza, get Charlie's Tea after, then walk around while you wait for your order. It was crowded as expected with 2 ordering screens, but the line went by quickly. They had a large TV with your order progress. The interior was way bigger than I expected with lots of seating, but generally all taken up with people waiting or working. I got the Green Grape Jasmine Milk Tea ($6.99) with mixed boba ($1.29, agar and plain), and I tasted the grape at first sip but it wasn't overpowering. I got the Peach Oolong Milk Tea ($6.99) with no ice to have the next day, and I loved it! I don't often like peach drinks with milk, but this hit. Next time I'll try the Ceylon Black with Pecan Cream Top ($7.49).
My newest obsession as someone that LOVES oolong milk tea (more than jasmine milk tea). PHOENIX OOLONG MILK TEA. if you've been looking for a bomb oolong milk tea with strong tea flavor, look no further!! As someone that is always disappointed by oolong milk teas everywhere else (including Molly, wushiland, chagee, chicha), I've finally found a place that is actually reminiscent of the ones I've had in literal China. I hear they do sell out of this drink, but I've been able to order it the handful of times I've gone (and it was good everytime) I do love tea jelly usually, but I didn't feel like it was flavorful enough, at least it didn't stand out in the drink I ordered. I love that the screen is very accurate with updates of orders ready and in progress. There's also SO MUCH seating for a tea shop! I love that there's spaces for groups of all sizes! I'm really hoping I don't overhype this place only for it to decrease in quality over time. Until then, I'll keep coming back!
Dare I say the bay is getting a little too saturated with new bubble tea shops popping up almost every month! It's hard to stand out but the interior and aesthetics of this place is unique enough with a vintage checkered look - I was able to get my drink for $2.47 on hungrypanda with the promo they were running so highly recommend ordering your drink on that! - I tried the green grape jasmine milk tea which is their signature (less ice, 30% sugar) - I enjoyed it! It was refreshing and so floral with a hint of green grape at the end
New location in Cupertino Village for boba! I went during grand opening and a few times after; the line has died down by now and the service is very quick, so I got my drink inside of 10 minutes. The interior is really cozy with lots of comfortable seating; you place your order on the kiosk and then go inside to wait. The drinks, cups, and menu all remind me of Molly Tea, with the signature straw and focus on tea. I got the green grape jasmine, which had a nice grape flavor that punched through the fragrant tea. Would definitely come back for more, and glad to have another tea place in the area :)
New tea shop that has lovely indoor decor. Order via two kiosks available and service is quite swift. I got the green grape jasmine tea with extra $0.25 for lactose free milk. It was very floral and had a great tea aroma without being overly so. You can taste the sweet green grape in combination with the tea and I got it at the recommended 70% sweetness which was perfect! But pricey but sort of expected from these types of tea spots these days
Huge sucker for Jasmine tea so definitely had to check this place out when I heard they top Molly Tea! I tried the coconut jasmine along with the matcha jasmine milk tea. The jasmine tea here is very strong and fragrant at 50%, with a slight hint of bitterness that makes it even better. I honestly do believe the jasmine flavor is better and stronger than Molly Tea's, but the drink choices here are not as extravagant; pretty basic. The Matcha Jasmine Milk Tea which I had at 70% sweet had a great matcha flavor and was very smooth, but I prefer the coconut jasmine which felt lighter yet more creamy. They need to fix the organization here. It's self-service through kiosks at the door, but a receipt does not automatically print nor do you get to input a phone number to notify you when your order is ready. Make sure to look and remember the number on the screen or you'll never know when your order is ready! Place is sleek with lots of wood. Cute place to chat and hang if it's not as busy as it was when I visited (Friday night).

Like others, I think this place is just a rebranded Molly Tea as they have decorations with the same insignia as Molly Tea and the drinks are quite reminiscent of the familiar taste of Molly Tea Even if it wasn't the same store under a different branding it seems like this place will face stiff competition given how much many of my friends and myself just consider it another Molly Tea. Suffice to say the drinks were comparable to the point I don't think a new opinion is warranted The only major difference is probably that this place focuses more on being somewhat of a third space where there is ample seating. There were a lot of people inside and it was a bit chaotic but also a group of folks just working within the store itself. I can see this place becoming more of a community spot read more

I went after dinner and it was busy but not as busy as when it first opened for sure. I got the Phoenix Oolong Milk tea which I didn't really know what that entailed. It was fine. Tasted good no complaints but nothing that makes me feel like I *have* to come back. The pick up system was a little confusing because I couldn't really hear the person call out the numbers and I don't think the TV was updated efficiently. I'm open to trying again! read more
I would say Charlie's tea is better than Molly (atleast for their Jasmine milk tea). It was really floral and tea forward with the milk jusy adding body to the drink. The full sweetness brought out a lot do the flavor and it definitely wasn't too sweet either. The wait is kinda long after order and you def have to keep an eye on the board. There was enough seating to sit and wait or chill with friends. Overall a pretty great experience though it would be nicer if the wait wasn't so long. read more
3.5 Tried 2 drinks for to go. I like the Mountain Black milk tea. It's smooth and rich, very tasty. But I would recommend to skip Green Grape Jasmine milk tea. I couldn't taste much grape or fruitiness. The jasmine tastes bitter(?) with a weird tart aftertaste. read more
I've tried their green grape jasmine & fresh lemon jasmine on two separate occasions. The tea flavor is definitely strong. Green grape jasmine was not bad, but I didn't like it that much. When I compare it to my husband's peach oolong, I liked his much more. Fresh lemon jasmine was good! Very refreshing after a meal. Not sure if I would pay full price for it though. I tried a few sip of the fresh lemon oolong, and it's strong. Both flavors stand out , not in a bad way, but my brain was definitely slightly confused. I think the jasmine option is a safer choice because they're more complementary. read more

Online orders via HungryPanda to come. M E N U Specialty: Light, tea-forward Chinese milk teas, fruit teas, and signature cream toppings (like Molly Tea). Adjustable sweetness (they recommend 70%) and adjustable ice levels. Lactose-free milk is free and oat milk is +50 cents. *SOFT OPENING PROMO* This Weekend Only : 12% off all drinks. Saw this place on IG so decided to stop by since I was in the area. There are so many tea spots opening in the South Bay lately from China/Taiwan. I arrived at 4:30pm on a Sunday and it was pretty busy inside. Luckily there was a kiosk available so I ordered on there. I really like the modern wooden interior. I waited about 10 minutes before my order was ready. I ordered their most popular drink - Ceylon Black with Pecan Cream Top. I enjoyed the strong black tea flavor and the cream was sweet. I also liked the crunchy pecans. I didn't feel like I got my moneys worth with the amount of drink that I got. I do want to point out that the cup designs are unique and cool. I'm glad that I was able to stop by while I was in the area. I love checking out new spots even if it isn't what I expected it to be. Shoutout to the hardworking staff, especially during the busy weekends. read more
Charlie's Tea is spacious and has a wooden aesthetic. There is plenty of seating available inside. You order at the kiosk. Remember to grab your receipt with your drink number! My drink was made pretty quickly and their cups are so cute. Staff were friendly and efficient. I got their Ceylon Black with Pecan Cream Top, which was smooth, sweet, and fragrant. It had a strong black tea flavor. The cream top with the pecans added an extra creaminess and crunch to the drink. read more
Overall, another aesthetically spacious boba spot in South Bay, however, does it taste like every other decent boba spot? Yes, which is not a fault to Charlie's Tea. It's just that the boba market is so saturated with mostly decent spots that it's hard to stand out. The two teas that I tried pretty much tasted the same as Moon Tea, which again isn't bad, just not anything different. **|Phoenix Oolong MT| - Dan cong tea, less ice, 50% sugar ** |Clovershrub Tea with Hazlenut Cream Top| - Da hong pao tea, 50% sugar - I'd pass on the cream tops, just tastes like whipped cream to me. When you pick up your drink, they'll ask if you want the cream in the drink vs on the side. As you can see with my pic, I got it on the side. Candied hazelnuts are packaged nicely in a bag. Both had decently fragrant tea, but I'm also one of those people that always wants DANK tea flavors. I am interested to try their Grape Jasmine MT though since that sounds unique! Probably will give Charlie's Tea another shot, but wouldn't wait long lines, which I'm sure will die down after the hype. High hopes that thier AC system is improved with time. When my husband and I went, it was muggy inside. Also not sure if it's due to how big the place is, but sound carries far and it's quite loud inside with everyone's chatter. This plaza is so packed nowadays, so be prepared to weave around people and look for parking. There is a two story parking garage in the far back corner of the plaza, closer to Fantasia's side. read more

Such a good balance between creamy and strong tea flavor! The only thing I would change based on my personal preference is sweetness but if you prefer your milk teas a bit sweeter the 70% ( recommended) would be perfect! Their tea was truly soooo delicious and I would come back to try more drinks! This place is now one of my top places for jasmine drinks because of how tea forward it is. read more
Been really digging anything green grape so was excited to see Charlie's tea come out with a green grape drink! Was a bit hesitant since it was a milk tea based but it did not disappoint. You order at the kiosk and get your drink at the counter when called. Service was fast for how busy it was. Parking here can be a bit of a pain since it is in a really heavy foot traffic area with other food spots and viral popular boba shops. read more

First Charlie's Tea location in the Bay Area and it's located in Cupertino Village. The drinks are a hybrid between Chagee and Molly Tea. Even with the default recommended sweetness level, it isn't very sweet. The only cup size available for the drinks I ordered is medium and all of the toppings were already sold out on a Friday late afternoon. The drinks are given in a cute Charlie's tea branded insulated tote bag. Be prepared to wait - it took about 30 minutes for the order to be ready once placed at the self-service kiosk. There's seating inside, but fills up quickly on a weekend. Drinks / Food Jasmine Green Milk Tea The jasmine tea has more floral-forward notes and is creamy. I got the default recommended 70% sweetness level, less ice, and milk. Peach Oolong Milk Tea The peach oolong tea was fruit-forward and creamy (similar to the Jasmine Green Milk Tea drink). I also got the default recommended 70% sweetness level, less ice, and milk. Customer Service There's a couple of self-service kiosks to place orders. The only interaction with the staff is hearing order numbers being called out as they're ready and picking up orders from the designated pick up area. Ambiance Shades of brown accent walls, checkered forrest green and white floors, bright white signage, green velvet chairs, brown table tops, and woven beige chairs/stools. Some of the design accents are reminiscent of the Ralph Lauren cafe. Parking / Location It's located in the same plaza as Ten Ren, Matcha Town, and 99 Ranch. Parking is already challenging with the many restaurants and businesses in the shared parking lot. read more

They also offer some more unique options like Green Grape Jasmine Milk Tea and Clovershrub Tea Milk Tea Tried 4 different drinks at 50% Sweetness: * Peach Oolong Milk Tea * Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea * Jasmine Green Milk Tea * Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea The first 3 drinks were fragrant, the perfect level of creaminess, not too sweet, and its respective flavor came through. The only one that I thought was okay was the Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea as the flavor was extremely mild. I'd skip this one next time Mentally prepare to wait since it's the first Bay Area location of a famous milk tea chain from China. I rlly wanted to like this place bc it seems so cute but the price of it vs what you can get nearby just didn't make it worth. I got the Ceylon black tea w whipped cream topping (one of the drinks on their popular menu). I thought the tea itself wasn't very amazing for how much it costed - 7/8 dollars. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad, but I think the drink tasted comparable to tenren (but tenren is cheaper). The theming of the place is really cute though I love the interior and it seems like it would be great for like studying or smth there. While parking is always chaotic for this plaza, Charlie's Tea enters the plaza to compete against Ten Ren and Fantasia. I guess there was a lot of hype around this spot because the lines were still very long despite not having any deals or being opening day. There are 2 self-ordering kiosks to my our left when you walk in. Many items were sold out at 2:20pm on Saturday afternoon. The interior is modern and chic and there seems to be a lot of seating. There's just SO many people standing around waiting for their orders. A slight breeze from their AC isn't helping in the heat given the amount of bodies in the store and the front door remaining open. There doesn't seem to be too many people woking. It took over 40 minutes to get our drinks (from the time of ordering), and there was probably another 20-30min of waiting in line. They didn't have too many plain tea drinks, but I ended up getting the lemon jasmine green tea (with lemon pulp) under the fruit drinks sections. The jasmine tea was really good and fragrant, and i probably could have skipped the lemon. They should have considered logistics for their demand: 1. have more hands on deck for the first few weekends after opening, and 2. hand out paper menus for people in line so they are ready to order by the time they get to the kiosk The paper menu picture i only found after finding a seat while waiting for the drinks. Also, while waiting, it's pretty difficult to hear the numbers being called out, and the screen is hard to see. They need a better system or need to update their system to something that makes more sense for this early demand. The bags are cute and they have different colored straws. I probably wont be coming back... ill stick with ten ren. The wait just isn't worth it. Probably better to wait for the hype to die down too. read more
I came during their BOGO soft opening deal. It took about 30min to order + 30min to get your drink. The interior was super cute and had a very cozy coffee shop vibe. When I went on the Friday night they had a line DJ but I'm pretty sure he was only temporary there for the grand opening. As for drinks I got Clovershrub Tea Milk Tea and Green Grape Jasmine. Both drinks had a strong tea flavor. The Clovershrub reminded me of Dao Hong Pao Milk Tea. As for the Grape I through it was pretty unique and never had anything like it. Both drinks had a strong tea flavor and wasn't too sweet. read more
I kept hearing about Charlie's Tea from my friends and decided to come on a weekday to beat the long lines during grand opening. I came around 12:40PM and the line was pretty short. There are two kiosks and the line moves pretty fast. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I ordered the Grape Jasmine Milk Tea (recommended by my friend) and Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea (my personal choice). The workers are pretty fast so I only had to wait about 5 minutes for my order. The inside area is also spacious and aesthetic! Grape Jasmine MT: I definitely am less of a Jasmine fan, but this drink was pretty solid. I would say the grape flavor is very fragrant and reminds me of a Grape Jello taste. Not my personal choice but my friend really liked this one! Phoenix Oolong MT: This was pretty good, definitely more on the milky side and less tea forward. The interior of the place was extremely aesthetic and cute. I liked how there was plenty of seating options and tables as well. I went during the grand opening and there was even a DJ as well (great music, great vibes!). The line went by pretty fast even though it was pretty crowded and the drinks also came out not too slow either. I would say that the store was definitely more on the crowded side but seating wasn't too much of a fight either. ceylon black with pecan cream top - 7/10. I liked how crunchy and sweet the pecans were -- a very nice addition of texture. The cream itself was just their whipped cream, it had a cream flavor instead of the jasmine flavor that I was looking forward to (I am a huge Molly tea fan and their cream has a jasmine flavor to it). I would say that the cream texture was super fluffy and yummy to eat. The drink itself was pretty awesome too. It had a light tea flavor to it. I recommend drinking with the small straw that adds in air to help enhance the flavor. green grape jasmine milk tea - 5/10. If heytea green grape cloud and molly tea had a baby, this would be it. I love green grape and I love jasmine milk tea. But this one kind of confused me because it starts off refreshing with the green grape fruity flavor coming off strong and then it ends on a jasmine tea note. I'm not too sure if I like the flavors together but it intrigued me. read more
Went here on a Saturday around 8pm with my friends, it was the BOGO deal for the weekend, and it was a huge line when we arrived. PARKING: in a plaza center, but there is a parking garage if you can't find any available parking during peak hours. PLACE: pretty big, and there is multiple seatings and everything. We got a table with 4 chairs. There is a number on a TV that tells you what they are preparing & if your order is ready. They call you through an intercom of your number. Also there are two kiosk machines, and you can probably get your order taken by a cashier but it is recommended to do the kiosk since they need everybody to help to make drinks. You can also adjust sweetness, ice, etc. DRINKS: Ceylon Black with Pecan Cream Top - so good, kind of tastes similar to Oolong in a way, I wish they added more pecans, but they only had so many options available. Clovershrub Tea with Hazelnut Cream Top - they actually didn't have hazelnut cream top so they subbed it with the pecan cream top, the teas taste different but I want to know what the hazelnut cream top tastes like. Peach Oolong Milk Tea - more milky than anything and tastes very good Green Grape Jasmine Milk Tea - I actually favored this one more because I love the taste of jasmine, highly recommend because it is super good. Overall, I would wait for the opening rush to die down and then try, not a lot of options available since they run out and huge lines, we waited about for 15 - 20 minutes before we got to the kiosk. read more
