Best location in the bay! I prefer this one over the SF one and the one in Cupertino because they always get the sweetness just right. I'm a creature of habit: since they removed the king jasmine I have been loyal to the longjing milk tea. It's nutty, it's tea forward, it's everything. My partner is addicted to the mango boom and I recently got him the blue version with spirulina in it and he really enjoyed it. As for the service--what can I say? They are swamped with thousands of orders and yet they still tell you to have a good day. People bombard the one person passing out drinks and it looks so overwhelming to be in that position, so props to the workers at this location because this does not look like an easy job. Smells nice, like an expensive hotel.
I'm always down for matcha. I had the Cloud matcha, and their matcha is pretty good. The matcha is well whisked, and you can't taste the powder. I really enjoyed it and love that they added extra matcha powder for a stronger kick. The service is okay, but note that you should order on the app. The line is crazy long, and people are outside waiting for some boba.
Great drinks, customer service is dry. Came here to enjoy a few drinks after having dinner nearby. As usual, there were an abundant of patrons standing inside and out of Heytea. Staff is too busy doing their own thing to even show you any sign of acknowledgement but it is what it is. Ordering via register is optional but the kiosk located on the side is preferred. Drinks take a bit of time but essentially taste how they should. The tea aspect stands out and isn't masked by fake sugary syrups and fillers.

The Cloud Mango might be my favorite as the mango that they use is very sweet and the drink itself is refreshing. I got the Golden Oolong Yuzu because they just released it and it tastes like a lemonade with oolong tea, nothing much. The prices are kind of insane though.
Wait is a bit long but feels like it goes by fast. I went a few times during my NorCal trip and all of the businesses are busy at all times. I guess also a good sign lol. Drinks are fresh, not so sweet and super refreshing! I would go by the less sugar (default) they have it, it's perfect! I keep coming back for the grapefruit bloom and mango bloom!!! Hey...tea! How are you? Everyone asks what the tea is, but never how the tea is :/ One thing I noticed about heytea is they always have a bogo once a month! And you bet I will only show up during those days, because I LOVE a good deal ! I went for the King Jasmine guava bogo and it was pretty good!! It's a perfect flavor for the spring time even the color! It tasted like guava mixed with their high quality jasmine tea and topped with a slightly sweet slightly salty cream top and garnished with lime peels. Everything is always so fresh here. It never tastes like fake syrup or like they are cutting corners for their drinks. The drink itself was quite refreshing with fresh gauva flavor. Usually I think jasmine tea is too floral and leaves bitter after taste but for hey tea the after taste is pretty smooth. Esp paired with the cream top it makes it creamy but light and fresh. TBH I can drink a whole cup of just cream top. I recommend drinking this with the skinny straw it really makes it taste way better! Total was about 8.50 ish. So around 4~ for each drink- in this economy. The staff at this hey tea always seems so busy and hardworking I hope they are being compensated well! Seating is not that optimal. It's more of a pickup spot than hanging out/studying. There is lots of parking but when there is bogo you will just have to park further.
Ordering a drink here is a mess. There is a long line of people waiting to order and only ONE kiosk. And as you would expect with a kiosk, each person takes their time to scroll through the options so each person takes roughly a minute or so to order. All in all, it took around 15 minutes to get our order in. After you order, it takes another 20 minutes to wait for your drink to be ready. Waiting 35 minutes or so to get tea is not really worth it in my opinion. Advice to management: add more kiosks so that there's 2-3 going at a time. Having 1 makes little sense when there's 20 people waking to order.
I tried the Matcha Cloud Coconut Blue, and it tasted pretty similar to the Cloud drink from 0&. It was refreshing and not too sweet, which I really liked. Next time, I'll probably order it without ice since the ice melted and made the drink a bit watery. There was a long line at the kiosk to order, and after placing my order, it took about 30 minutes to get my drink. The store itself is on the smaller side, so it can feel a bit crowded.
Ordered for pick up on a Saturday afternoon through their app. Estimated time for pick up was 16 minutes with 40 orders ahead of me. When I arrived before the 16 minutes they had already knocked out 20+ orders. Wow that was fast. They do have a lot of staffs working which is great. Ordered the mango coconut and a grapefruit bloom with least sweet. The mango coconut was nice. A good amount of sweetness and it had coconut pudding and sago. I enjoyed it the following day and it was still good. As for the grapefruit bloom it was still very sweet. However I still enjoyed the taste and the many grapefruit pulp that was included. I would order both drinks again.
Found my favorite drink in Heytea: Cloud Longjing milk tea!! Highly high recommend. I used to think Heytea is okay, but this drink has changed my mind. I have been consisting getting this drink every time whenever I'm in the Milpitas plaza despite the wait time and recommending to friends. If you like a non-sweet, creamy with rich tea emphasis, you will like this. I hope it can stay on Heytea menu permanently!
Heytea isn't normally my top choice for milk tea, but I come occasionally because the cloud jasmine latte and kale drink is decent and the location is convenient. We waited 45 minutes in line for the pistachio drink, only for the drink to taste like straight milk. I understand that the store is super busy during a BOGO, but it's not considerate to let customers wait 45 minutes in line and then inform them at the register that the drink will take another 45-60 minutes to make.

Favorite boba spot in the Bay Area! Every drink I've tried here has been delicious, and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorites are the grape drink and the Triple Supreme Matcha, both are so flavorful and not overly sweet. It's a very fast-casual spot, perfect for grabbing a drink on the go. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of my go-to boba places! read more

We happened to be in the area and decided to try HeyTea because my nephew always raves about it. We placed our order at 11:01 a.m., right after the store opened at 11, and the app estimated a 4-minute wait time. Unfortunately, we didn't receive our drinks until 11:32. I followed the app updates, which showed that 1 of 2 drinks was ready, but after waiting more than 15 minutes with no progress, I used the app to expedite the order and informed the staff. A young man assured me the second drink would be coming out shortly, but after another 10+ minutes, there was still no update, acknowledgment, or communication from the staff. I then contacted the "Get Help" feature through the app to request a refund. Instead of resolving the issue, I was only offered 50% off a future visit. After such a disappointing first experience, that response felt completely inadequate. This is boba tea, not a fine dining experience, and waiting over 30 minutes with little communication and no proper resolution is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location or support this chain in the future, and I'll definitely be sharing my experience with friends and family. read more
Refreshing and creamy matcha drink with a trendy café vibe Tried the Cloud Matcha Blue at HEYTEA and really enjoyed how unique and refreshing it was. The drink had a nice balance between the earthy matcha flavor and the light, creamy foam on top. It felt smooth and not overly sweet, which made it easy to drink. The layered presentation also looked really pretty and gave it that signature trendy café feel. Service was quick and efficient, even with a decent crowd in the store. The vibe is modern and energetic, with a clean aesthetic that makes it fun for a quick drink stop or casual hangout. This location and shopping plaza is frequently crowded and busy so do yourself a favor and order on the app for pick up in advance! My go-to is the Jasmine Milk Tea - the tea flavor is strong and lightly sweet with only 150 calories. Overall a refreshing beverage to kick start my day! read more

The drinks here are always so good! We were able to order with the worker instead of the self kiosk this time. I got their new drink which tasted like Tiramisu. Orders were coming out very fast, especially with showing out order numbers on a big monitor. Would def come back again read more

I'm obsessed!! I love their Longjing and King Jasmine milk tea. (I actually think their milk teas are Molly Tea, so much more consistent in flavor ). I've had their fruit drinks previously, and didn't care for them. But their milk teas so sooooo good! I order on the app as the line can get pretty long during peak times. Stopped by this location around noon and it was absolutely packed! The vibe is definitely 'high-energy chaos'--it's clearly a popular spot, but be prepared for a wait. They seemed so overwhelmed by the volume of orders that online ordering was actually disabled when we tried to checkout, which was a bit disappointing. You have to order at the store either via the touch-screen kiosks or with a staff member at the counter. When we got there, I noticed a huge row of ready orders waiting to be picked up, so it is definitely moving through them--there's just a massive backlog. It's the kind of place where you'll see a lot of people might be ordered online earlier. If you're coming during the lunch rush, you have to be patient. It's not a 'quick in-and-out' experience when they are this busy, so give yourself some extra time. Even at 2 pm we was planning to order again and decided not to because the line is still long. The drink it self is same as other Heytea stores which mean they keep the consistency. read more
This Heytea's coconut mango boom is GASSS. The mango puree is really sweet (tho they're not in season lol) but it didn't overthrow the coconut taste. They also give a generous amount of boba and sago in the drink. The boba has the perfect consistency, chewy and not dense or too sticky. In total, just the coconut mango boom was $7.98, which was kinda pricey. I don't regret it tho, as the drink doesn't disappoint at all. This heytea is always busy, so my order took roughly 20 mins. I would recommend ordering online and picking up your drink later, so you're not cooped up in the store for too long. That's what I did! Also, the interior is pretty small, so don't expect for there to be any open seating. read more

Finally got around to trying Heytea after hearing so much about it all these years. There's a self order kiosk inside this location but you can also order on the app. I highly recommend checking out the Heytea app because it makes the ordering process incredibly streamlined and you will get coupons! I ordered 2 of the most popular drinks that I've been seeing all over social media: Mango Coconut Boom (4/5): So good! The mango tastes so fresh and sweet, and the coconut is the most tender I've ever had in a drink like this. This one is my favorite mango/coconut slushie I've ever had. It is a just a tad too sweet even when adjusting sugar. I would get this as a dessert drink. It's light but still quite sweet. Triple Matcha Latte (2.5/5): I'm pretty picky about matcha and this one just wasn't good... it has a nice vibrant green color and the taste of matcha was strong but not quite the grassy, earthy, nutty flavor profile I like. It also seemed a bit gritty. I don't like the mochi inside because the texture was too mushy and I prefer chewy mochi. The matcha jelly is good though! Glad I tried it but I wouldn't get it again. The employees are very helpful even under intense stress and a high volume of orders ahead. I came twice and the first time there were 100+ drinks ahead of me! I really thought the hype died down but I guess not. Drinks came out quickly given the crowd though. Overall I'd consider Heytea overrated in terms of the drinks, but there are other ones on the menu I haven't tried and would return for. However I'd truthfully choose a different business in the plaza for milk tea if I were in the area -- at least over the drinks I've tried. Superb service though. Definitely get the Mango Coconut Boom if you come here and you're a fan of fruity drinks. read more
There's been a lot of hype around this place, so I had to check it out for myself. I stopped by around 3 PM and was greeted by a pretty long line. What surprised me was that they only had one tablet for ordering, which made the process feel slower than it needed to be. A lot of people in front of us were still deciding what they wanted while standing at the tablet, which held up the entire line even more. After ordering, you just have to wait around for your number to be called. Personally, I'd much rather leave my phone number and get a text when it's ready. There was a bench inside to sit, but there was so much people lined up inside that I decided to wait outside. I ended up trying the Pistachio Cloud King Jasmine, one of their newer drinks. Unfortunately, I wasn't super impressed. It was very creamy with a slight hint of jasmine, but I could barely taste any pistachio. It wasn't bad, just not very memorable. My friend got the Longjing milk tea, and honestly, that was way better. It had a really nice nutty, roasted flavor that really stood out. If I came back, I'd definitely order that instead. Overall, the drinks are decent, but between the slow ordering setup and the wait, I'd probably try a different location next time. read more
Great choice for tea and assorted blended drinks at Milpitas Square! I like coming to Hey Tea because of the consistency. They're constantly innovating and introduce new menu items every few weeks. Only downside, is if there's a seasonal drink you end up liking, it might go away. I love the Jasmine milk tea here. Good fragrant notes. This location is often crowded-- don't recommend as a meeting place for friends to sit and chat. The store layout is mainly for grab and go style. Beware that online order isn't always a guarantee. The store will often pause orders during the lunch rush. read more

So glad they opened a location in this complex! The convenience is hard to beat--I can charge my car, grab Hey Tea, then head over to 99 Ranch to pick up groceries all in one stop. The only downside is that this place is always packed, so the wait is usually long. So far we've only tried the Supreme Brown Sugar Original, but it definitely hits the spot when you need a quick boba fix! read more

Ordered HeyTea online and it was 100% the move. Skipped the long line completely, highly recommend ordering ahead. My husband picked it up, so I can't really comment on the cafe itself yet, but the drinks absolutely delivered. We ordered the Cloud Matcha Latte, Matcha Cloud Coconut Blue, Cloud Mango, and the Triple Matcha Supreme. I got to taste all of them thanks to my family who were willing to let me try their orders. Hands down, my favorite was my son's order, the Triple Matcha Supreme. He was kind enough to let me have his so I could fully enjoy it, which he calls "the closest and best matcha in the Bay Area compared to LA matcha." I agree. Super creamy, smooth, and rich without being overpowering. Will definitely be back, and hopefully next time I'll get to actually sit in and review the cafe too. read more
I came here on weekend afternoon and it was busy, the drinks took about 30 minutes to order. You can order ahead on the app or order at the shop. I got the crisp grape boom and coconut mango blue. Both I made sure were non-caffinated, you can pick that option when you order which is nice. For the crisp grape bloom, I got it with less ice, less sugar. It was the perfect sweetness, it had some fresh crisp grapes on the bottom with a blended drink on top. For coconut mango blue, I got it with less ice and less sugar. It came with fresh mango, coconut, sago and blue pea flower color. Pretty refreshing and the blue and yellow colors make this drink very pretty. Flavor is nice. I would definitely get both again. read more
They finally have a Hey Tea in our area. This is one of 3 locations. Waiting for the one in Fremont. Originally had this in NY. Love their drinks but this location is practically new so the lines are long as well as the wait. I actually feel bad for the workers but they were pretty quick as they can. They only had one kiosk which was a bad set up that was in the back. They should have more and located in the front by the door instead of the back. It causes a packed house inside. At least, there are some waiting seats inside. My go to drink is the blue coconut mango and coconut mango. There are others I want to try. Recommend their drink but hope the lines get better soon. Place does get busy at night. Ordered online with their app to avoid the wait and had accurate estimate by showing how many cups left are ahead. Showed about a 20 min wait so walked around this big and busy plaza. Small store and got my drink promptly after getting notified. I got the supreme brown sugar milk tea. The boba was warm and had great texture. The drink was milk heavy. Thought I got a milk boba instead of milk tea boba. Very faint tea flavors. Slight roasted brown sugar on the top to give the drink some sweetness. read more
There was a BOGO promo for pistachio cloud jasmine milk tea, so I went to get that. I have to say, the drink was very creamy and had strong jasmine flavor with pistachio foam that balances the nutty flavor very well. The sweetness was also perfect for default sugar. Of course, the line was long, but it was worth it. I waited around 20 min in line to order and 25 minutes after ordering. There are many shops around, like Ranch 99 and Shengkee, so I was able to pass the time walking around. There are not many seating in the store, so most people are waiting in their car or outside for their drink. It's okay because there are many shops you can look around while waiting. read more
I was very surprised to find that Heytea was coming to the Bay Area -- and it indeed was a very welcome sighting. In fact, this was the moment that I was waiting for them to come. Heytea makes the best drinks out of all the boba shops I've been to, and their customer service is no different. Although it can get really crowded at times, it makes the wait worth it with their purified inside air, clean environment, and much more. I tried out their Brown Sugar Millk Tea with boba and less sugar. The boba was very chewy, and the tea wasn't too steep -- just enough to have a tea-like kick kind of flavor. Overall, I'd come back again! Definitely more of a chance when the lines are a little shorter though :) read more

Located in a bustling plaza packed with plentiful food options, Heytea is easily one of the busiest spots! We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and our drinks took 30+ minutes to be ready. I'd definitely recommend ordering ahead on their beautifully designed app - it's super easy to use, and you can even find some coupons if you make an account! Love that you can customize the sticker that's printed on the drink label too. The inside of the store is small without much seating, and it can get quite busy inside. Green grape boom - peeled fresh green grapes blended with jasmine green tea in a slushie form. Super refreshing, and I loved the bits of grape Tiramisu milk tea - mascarpone cheese foam over creamy black milk tea. Rich, dessert-like, and very reminiscent of tiramisu. So delicious! Will definitely be back to Heytea to try more drinks! read more

Hey Tea always has lines out the door. Thankfully, ordering online is super easy, there are no uplifts and you know exactly when your order is going to be done. There's always a crazy amount of people in front of my order (like 80!) but it's so worth it ordering in advance and then going to pick up. For some reason, they're always out of the Grapefruit Boom but it's the best! It's so fresh, not syrupy and refreshing. Other drips I enjoy are the green grape, mango coco boom, and the jasmine with salted cheese. The salted cheese here is super strong but unfortunately you can't order this drink in a large for some reason and they also don't give you a lid where you can sip the foam from -- you have to use a straw which is weird. Everything is super fresh here and I can't recommend it enough. read more

Decided to swing by after dinner at Tasty Pot! It seemed like there were a good number of people in line (and it looked quite busy overall), so we opted to order online instead. We were here for the special Pop Mart collab, but they were unfortunately all out of the special sets. Placed our order for three drinks at 8:38pm on a Friday and drinks were in hand by 9:02pm, so it was actually a bit of a wait. Luckily we had friends to talk to to pass the time. Drinks were good! Tasted exactly what you would imagine tiramisu milk tea to be (milk tea with tiramisu flavor from the cream and powder on top). Would be open to coming back to try their other collab drinks! read more

Ever since HeyTea got rid of the Strawberry Boom, I haven't been back for several months until my friends wanted to get some. I decided to try the Crisp Grape Boom, and initially it threw me off. I never had anything grape flavored except for medicine, so it immediately reminded me of the off-tasting medicine flavor. However, the more I drank it, it grew on me and didn't have an off-putting taste. Instead, it was light, sweet & refreshing! I also liked the frozen grape bits and slushy texture. I thought I wouldn't like it because I'm a green grape girly, but this was actually good! My friend got the green grape drink and it barely had grape flavor... it was kind of bland? So if you're in between the red or green grape flavor, get the red. I wouldn't go out of my way for HeyTea considering many places do mango drinks, but I would get the Grape Crisp Boom again. It's best on a hot summer day! read more
Always a long wait, so order via the app if you can! On a Saturday afternoon, there were 67 drinks ahead of me... estimating to a 30 minute wait. I highly recommend the Crisp Grape Boom and the Oat Matcha Bobo. High quality ingredients! They also offer 0-calorie sweetener, which is great for a less guilty sweet treat! However, the drink definitely will have stevia-like aftertaste. read more
My first time trying Heytea was in Korea. We were in the plaza for lunch and saw there is a Heytea. They are located in the Milpitas Square Plaza, which is a super busy plaza. We came here for late lunch around 1:30 and it was hard to find a parking spot even though there are many parking spaces in general. There were cars parked on the streets. It was that busy. There are so many businesses in this plaza, 99 Ranch, many restaurants, boba/coffee shops, etc. I was super excited. I definitely needed to get a drink from here! There were a lot of people inside and outside the store. I downloaded the app to place an order online. Unfortunately, they were not accepting any online orders at the time. We got in line to place an order on the kiosk inside. After waiting 15 mins, we finally got up to the kiosk. There is only one kiosk, by the way. Also, there was no option to order from a staff member while we were there. The store itself is very small. There are benches for customers but gets super cramped inside. The only interactions with the staff is when you pick up your drinks. They do not text you when your drink is ready. You have to physically be there to hear your numbers be called. They don't even have a mic. So if you're outside or somewhere else, you won't be able to hear them when your numbers are being called. However, there is a screen on their wall to show which order numbers are ready for pickup. Our drinks took about 30 mins. We decided on Matcha Cloud Coconut Blue and Coconut Mango Boom. Matcha cloud was pretty good but for me, I felt the matcha was a bit too much. My boyfriend liked it though. Coconut mango was really good. It was creamy and just enough sweetness. Next time when i'm back in Milpitas, I do want to come back here again. Hope they will figure out a way to make the ordering process more smoothly and less wait. Maybe add another kiosk if it is possible. Also, hope they will start texting when the order is ready so don't have to wait there physically or have to come back to check every few minutes. read more

omgsh, I actually really enjoyed this place! Went in on a Saturday night after dinner and they were so busy. Upon walking in, I noticed they had a scent that smelled sooooo good. I asked the employee and he said it's the tea brewing in the back but pretty sure it was air freshener lol. But still it smelled like Jasmine goodness!!! The line went by fast even with one kiosk and the wait for my drink was even faster!! These guys know how to hustle and bust out drinks. We ordered the mango boom and the mango blue. Both soooo good and I honestly think the value for the price is so good. Perfect amount of mango and sago too. The flavors are tasty and love the option of no caffeine for the kiddos. Will come back again!! read more
