Xing Fu Tang is one of the better boba tea places in the Bay Area, they cook the boba right in front of the shop and this type of boba are less chewy but very fresh and more flavorful which we really prefer.

This branch used to be really busy but now there's never really any wait. They have great milk tea, the brown sugar boba topping is just ok. Xing Fu Tang is known for their house cooked fresh stirred boba, but they never stir it here, it always just sits in the wok. It's still good though, plus this is the only branch in the Bay Area so not much other options available.

Solid 3.5 stars! Tried Xing Fu Tang for the first time while meeting up with a friend and overall thought their dessert and boba drink, specifically their soft serve and brown sugar boba milk was pretty good! Their tapioca pearls were soft and chewy, and the drink wasn't overly sweet. Their soft serve was tasty, as well, but honestly, I wouldn't order it again. Limited indoor seating indoor with a bustling atmosphere. They also had a fun fortune telling area to the corner. Parking is shared with other businesses at the Crescent Square, so it can be challenging at times.

Xing Fu Tang is known for their handmade boba that gets stir fried in a big wok, which is fun to watch and definitely part of the appeal. I got the signature brown sugar boba. Also got the mango smoothie with the cute rabbit jelly add on. Visually, it was very aesthetic and Instagram friendly. Taste wise, it was okay. The drink leaned pretty sweet, and while the boba was chewy and fresh, the tea itself did not stand out much. Service was fine and efficient. Overall, it feels more like a place you go for the experience and aesthetics rather than for an amazing drink. Cute concept, solid boba, but not something I would crave regularly.

Not bad! First time here. Parking is kind of rough as there are a lot of stores and not a lot of parking spots. The line went by fast and the boba itself is good. It's a little far for me to frequently regularly, but I'd stop by again for another taste. I thought it was really cool to see the boba being made.

Wanted to try something new. Hand made boba. They cook the boba in brown sugar. The coffee is paste like. Everything is in perfect portion. I highly recommend to try this place. Service is good. I hope their soft serve gets repaired soon. Waiting to try their boba soft serve!!

This is now my favorite boba place in the Bay! The interior has a traditional Taiwanese feel; for example, there is a corner to determine your fortune by choosing a stick out of the pile. The staff were very friendly, explaining the menu to those who wanted more information. After ordering at the kiosk next to the entrance, it took roughly 5-10 minutes for my order to be ready. I got their brown sugar boba ice cream, which essentially has their homemade tapioca pearls layered under milk tea flavored soft serve. The ice cream was very flavorful; it has a genuine milk tea taste without it being too sweet or tasting too artificial. The boba was very well made and has got to be my favorite I've ever had; it's coated in brown sugar which pairs very well with the ice cream. It's important to note that the boba comes out hot, meaning you have to make sure you eat the ice cream poking outside the cup before it melts into your hand. (for me, after the ice cream melted it turned into a syrupy mixture so I decided it would be perfect to mix it into a jasmine milk tea I prepared at home!) Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by and giving Xing Fu Tang a try!

I first tried xing fu tang in Taiwan. Excited to see it here in the bay! There was ordering machines which was easy. We ordered the bunny mango smoothie and brown sugar milk. Wasn't able to adjust sweetness of brown sugar milk but it wasn't crazy sweet which is good. Bunny mango was good and had a bunny jelly on top. Decently priced, about $6.50 for the smaller size drink

I'm glad they didn't assume my partner's gender, but a real fortune would just know

Delicious milk tea and the freshest tapioca pearls ever! The fortunes are true! Many fortunes told me to marry my girlfriend, so I did. We ordered from the kiosk and our drinks were ready quickly. The cafe has ample seating and is clean.

Brown Sugar Black Tea Latte Review. Good: Boba and Brown sugar mixture on drink is one of the best . Their Boba is very chewy, flavorful and well prepared. Lactose free(non-dairy option available) Improvements: Teas are a bit lackluster in flavor. Maybe improve quality leaves or be prep.

This place is definitely worth the drive, their boba is amazing you can really tell it's fresh plus you can see them making it on the spot. Their milk teas also have so much flavor, although the sweetness is a little overwhelming, but that was my fault on my end for not adjusting it. It's true when the best things come in small packages!

Not all Boba shops are the same and this one stands out. They have ample parking in the front, easily accessible for everyone and the ship itself is nice and clean. Two kisoks are available for ordering and the wait time isn't long. Customer service was even better. (Went here in a recent Sat afternoon and it was not packed at all). Love how fresh boba is made right in front of you. Nice and chewy too! The sturdy plastic cup that houses the boba drinks are these unique triangle ridges. You can order the drinks hot or cold with the boba being warm and fresh. The ice cream and drinks ordered were delicious, def recommend this boba spot to all and enjoy before tariffs kick in less than 2 months from now!

I would recommend the soft serve, skip the drink. Super disappointed with the brown sugar boba black tea latte. There was zero tea flavor, mostly milk and icy water taste from the hot boba that cooled in the cup. The boba was very chewy, it was okay imo. It was brown sugar-y and fine. Maybe served more warm than other boba shops?? I kind of like when the boba gets a bit more cooled and chewy from the ice. Here it's more on the hot/warm side and stays a soft chewy texture for longer. I think most drinks all come with boba. The brown sugar boba soft serve was not bad. The soft serve actually had some milk tea flavor in there. It was good. You must eat fast or else it'll start to melt a lot from the hot boba below. I wish it was layered, so you have some boba in the middle and top, so it's not just eating a lot soft serve and then hitting all the boba at the bottom. It could also be swirled more aesthetically lol.

The flavor here is very strong -- you can actually taste the roasty nuttiness of the hojicha and it is not diluted at all. The earl grey addition gives that extra caffeine but also a great floral aftertaste that compliments the flavor of the hojicha well.

The lack of decoration and even an outdated appearance is unattractive. The cloth hung between the front and kitchen is dirty with stains. The place is focused on matcha and I wanted to get something more tea focused and less milky; among all the choices, I picked earl grey with matcha latte. It's pricey. For $7.25, there's limited choices complementary. If you want it no ice, $2 extra. If you want cream top, extra. The minimum sugar level is 50% and I don't mind getting 0. When I got the drink, the layer of white sweet cream kind of material is at the bottom. Although it looks dreamy and artsy, the first sip was too sweet. I had to fully mix everything to make the tea drinkable. Also second sip, there's something artificial in the taste. So all in all, a 3 star and probably hard to find a reason to come back.
