Because this was my first time visiting this place, I thought I'd try something seasonal or something I don't usually find in other tea shops. I tried the Cheesy Peachy and it hit the spot! They note on the kiosk that this drink takes longer to make because they crush fresh peaches when you order it. If you like peaches, then you definitely want to give it a try! The Oreo Bubble Egg Waffle is a good choice if you like Oreo cookies because you don't really taste much of the traditional egg batter. I was impressed that there were mini Oreo cookies placed into each egg puff rather than crushed Oreos sprinkled on top. The service was quick and the representatives were polite. The ambiance was cute - a lot of kawaii-type figures/items placed around the store, such as mini panda figures along the kiosk. But beware when you place an automated tip (e.g., 15%, 20%, etc.), it may charge you tip on top of the tax rather than the subtotal. Otherwise this was a great find! read more

I've never seen a place offer a longan fruit slush! I was in the area, it was pretty warm, and I was wanting something refreshing. This place caught my eye as it had more unique options than the typical milk teas and basic green/black teas. As with some slush, the top was a bit icy and there was more flavor on the bottom. It was very tasty though! I did wish the longan pieces were chopped up more because the huge chunks kept getting stuck in the straw every other sip. I had to keep moving the straw around and ended up having to eat most of the chunks after the drink ran out. The lychee slush had a lot of flavor and was easier to drink. I definitely will come back! There seems to only be one person working so if they're busy, it may take some time. My order was ready but when I got there I couldn't find it. The ultimate cure for heat wave is the kumquat lemon drink. It was so cooling and refreshing. Got no toppings and it was 10/10 just as is. As Yokee is so conveniently located I will be coming back this summer just for this drink. 75% sweet was perfect and I typically get 30% sweet at other places. I tried the orchid jasmine milk tea as well. It wasn't as tea forward as I want it to be, but I'm a very harsh critic in terms of tea strength. I need it almost bitter and this was more delicate. Still very well done in terms of tea and milk proportions and didn't feel like it was watery at all. I got it at 75% sweet but may try even less sweet next time. There are lots of very hyped milk tea places in warm springs/milpitas that have crazy wait times. Go to Yokee for something more lowkey :) read more

I went here because it stated on the menu that there was fried chicken. Upon buying it and receiving it, it is not fried chicken. The item is deceiving. I'm always on the lookout for independent boba shops and Yokee Milk Tea caught my eye while I was in the area. I had just finished shopping at Osaka and wanted an afternoon pick-me-up for my drive home. Yokee is located in a quiet strip mall, and there is ample parking. It's a tiny shop, but with tall ceilings. There's one self-serve kiosk, which I promptly ordered from. I was drawn to the white peach oolong milk tea, and paid for the large size. I didn't get boba this time, since I was still pretty full from lunch. As far as sweetness and ice levels, I generally go for 50% for both. While waiting for my drink, I used their bathroom, which was clean and tidy. My drink was ready in no time at all. There was a small group of high schoolers before me, but they also got their drinks pretty quickly. I didn't have much of an interaction with the lady making the drink but she was friendly and personally handed me my drink. It was warm inside Yokee, and I wish they had turned the AC on (but I can understand, electricity is expensive these days). I took my drink back to the car to enjoy my first sip. The white peach was prominent, and paired really refreshingly with the oolong. I loved that there were pistachios on top of the drink as well. The large size is indeed large, and lasted me for the entirety of my drive home (traffic included). I'm not a chugging kind of person, though, and prefer to sip my drinks (my husband is the opposite), so take that as you will. Yokee Milk Tea is located in one of the large plazas in Fremont with plenty of parking. I decided to give it a try after seeing they offered a mochi soy milk tea. I'm always curious about trying unique drinks that you don't see at every boba shop. They have a self-ordering kiosk and you can also order with the staff at the register. For the mochi soy milk tea you have to choose your tea base (ceylon, black, osmanthus oolong, and a couple other options I can't remember at the top of my head). I chose the osmanthus oolong as I was looking for a lighter tea. The drink comes with a liquid mochi top and three small mochis on a stick. I added boba to my drink for an additional topping charge. They didn't skimp on the boba and I went with 25% sweetness as the added boba covered in syrup adds additional sweetness. Because of the drinkable mochi they give you a sipping lid that also has room for a straw. When I drank from the spout, I got the perfect mochi topping + soy milk flavor. When I drank from the straw, I got a light floral creamy oolong flavor with sweetness from chewy boba. I also ordered a passionfruit green tea with aloe at 50% sweetness. The passionfruit adds the perfect amount of tartness to balance out some of the sweetness. Overall, it's a passionfruit green tea executed as it should be. This helps me not having to settle for one specific style of tea. My sons were sweet but still brought complexity of teas and matcha flavors at the tail end of each sip. If you can drop $12 for a drink, the durian sago does sound intriguing. The interior is simple, clean, and has a few tables. You can order via kiosk and tap to pay. Mochi milk tea with cheese 75% sweet- The milk tea was sweet, without much tea flavor. The cheese was creamy, rich, and salted well. I really enjoyed the fresh taro bits and silky chewy mochi. I would order it 50% or 25% sweet next time. Mango sago 50% sweet- This was still pretty sweet, I would order 25% next time. But the mango was so cold and refreshing! I had another opportunity to get drinks from Yokee. This time I got the fresh passion fruit green tea, 50% sugar 25% ice, and mochi soy milk tea with phoenix dancong (a type of oolong tea), 50% sugar 25% ice. The passion fruit green tea was decent, it is quite fruity and more on the acidic and sour side. I think it would've been fine even at a lower sweetness level. As for the mochi soy milk tea, while soy milk is still not my preference, I'm sure all the lactose intolerant folks appreciate it. I like the creama part of it, and the oolong tea is pretty good. I'm still not sure of how the mochi should be best consumed - feels more like a gimmick since there's only three of them and feels more like a side snack as the ratio doesn't match the drink. read more

Service was quick and minimal. Drinks seemed to be well made. Parking, while plenty, are not designed for folks with larger or medium sized vehicles. Was so sad when I saw that my fav Tea Island was closed along with the large grocery store it was in. However, this lead me to check out Yokee Milk Tea next door. I was able to order my drink quickly with only 3 parties ahead of me, but when I turned around, the line was out the door and wrapped around the corner. I ended up just getting two basic pearl black milk teas to go. It was pretty good and made fresh and shaken behind the bar. My only complaint with my experience was the wait. It took over 25 minutes to get my drink and I think it was because of too many online orders. Both ladies making the drinks were flying around the kitchen area going as fast as they can, but it was not enough to keep up with the demand. They do speak mandarin if you prefer and if you're a durian fan they have a durian series. Not many places around here offer durian drinks. I opted for the puff milk tea 25% sweet which I thought tasted more like a 50% sweet. We were curious what the volcano series was but I think that's just what they call the brown sugar series with the drips on the wall of the cup. Right next to 168 Market (facing the market, left side) Ordered the mochi milk tea with cheese and mango pamelo sago. The mochi milk tea with cheese has pretty good but has taro in it as well. I wish it said in the description that's it has taro in it. As for the mango pamelo sago, it has didn't have pamelo and instead of sago it had agar. So I am not sure if they were just out of sago or if it just normally has agar. If it wasn't for there modifications to the drinks I think I would have liked both of them more. I got the durian coffee latte and my boyfriend got the mochi soy milk tea. If you don't like durian, you won't like the latte. My boyfriend was not a fan I like durian and I thought the latte was pretty good! There's some pretty big chunks of durian in there! My friends and I visited this friendly new boba shop in Fremont. The ordering system consists of a kiosk, and you select your items on the kiosk. We were all craving milk tea, and when selecting them on the kiosk, we were a bit disheartened to see only one milk tea containing a nondairy base (rose milk tea). All of the other milk tea options included fresh milk in their ingredient list. For those items, there were options to switch out the fresh milk with I believe almond milk, soy milk, or oat milk, but I cannot have any of those due to intolerances. There was plenty of seating and they played music at a moderate level. The boba shop was a bit dim inside and I would have preferred if there was increased lighting. We could see the workers inside working hard and swiftly to carry out the orders. There was a bit of a wait for us, and it was because they finished making our drinks but did not move them from the inside counter to the pickup counter. The cups were stylish and I could see rose petals at the bottom of my drink. The rose flavor was strong in my drink and the milk tea was refreshing. I would recommend improving the lighting in the restaurant for ambience, and providing nondairy creamer options for multiple milk teas. read more
