They only had alfalfa available since straw has been hard to come by. I was looking for some for my garden since a bale of hay is equivalent to a small package of it if I went to a garden store. The straw usually is about $12 a bale when it's available. They said to check back in October. So I might call then for the following season. But at least they had alfalfa if I wanted that. They do carry taste of the wild dog food and some other random ones as well. They sometimes have chickens and they seem to have a small amount of horse tack and halters. Plenty of parking in the lot. Due to a lung condition, I had to evacuate my house in YLP during this Creek fire. Mike worked with me over the phone to buy deer food to be put aside and picked up by a friend who is feeding the deer for me while I'm gone. He was doing this as he was taping up the doors and windows due to the dangerous smoke levels. I really don't know what more anyone could ask for. They have my unconditional loyalty. Please ignore whatever unfavorable reviews you see and chalk it up to those people having the problem, not Mountain Feed & Nursery. They could not be more stellar.
