I took my Grandmother to Wyndridge Farm for her 92nd birthday lunch. I hadn't been here in years but it's largely unchanged. The grounds are really beautiful and would definitely make a good place to host a wedding or other big event. They make their own cider and beer and their menu features a few gluten free options including GF buns and GF pizza crust with other GF options clearly marked. We ordered the brussel sprouts and buffalo wings to share and my grandma and I split a white pizza on cauliflower crust. The brussels were good but nothing life changing - I do think if they cut them in half they'd have turned out more crispy and less mushy. The buffalo wings were slathered in a delicious sauce and very good. The white pizza was just OK. We asked for chicken to be added but they forgot. The crust was thin but not very crispy. I caught a glimpse of their regular pizzas which looked delicious if you are able to tolerate gluten. I also had the Wyn-mosa, their take on a mimosa. It came with their citrus cider mixed in and it was a really nice combination. They even put a candle in our dessert for my grandma, after I secretly requested it. Another wonderful experience! They now have a big tent covering their whole outdoor patio, so we can sit outside rain or shine, which is wonderful. Hubby and I both enjoyed pulled pork sandwiches and the chocolate/white chocolate mousse for dessert was amazing. read more

We haven't been to Wyndridge since a friend's (beautiful) wedding a few years ago, and came back for a lunch date. Sat outside on the covered patio, and the weather was just perfect. Wyndridge is undeniably in a beautiful location, has beautiful indoor and outdoor seating, and there's just nothing like enjoying your lunch while watching a bridal party take photos in the field beyond the patio (and reminiscing about our own wedding and those we've been to!) The service was fast and friendly, the drinks were all great, and the food was delicious. We started with the crab dip, which was hot and cheesy and everything you could want it to be. I had the mac and cheese, and added short rib to it, which was a great decision. My husband had the pit beef sandwich, which he enjoyed, and his sandwich came with a small mountain of hot, perfectly crispy fries (of which I stole many)! We went crazy and got dessert too, and the apple tart was the most delicious fall treat. It paired perfectly with the Apple Cider Donut Cider! A lovely place for a date or a family outing. I should have known by the inconsistent Yelp reviews, but the property looked so nice we decided, how bad could it be? Welp, let's talk about it so you can make your own decision if you're thinking of dining at Wyndridge Farm. The property looks beautiful. The patio looks out onto beautiful scenery and there was a wedding party there taking photos as we dined and also started to fill in at the cocktail hour adjacent to where we were eating. We were seated at a very nice table and it was right next to some bricks where I was watching wasps go into their nest. So I was already keeping my eyes out for flying insects. It was right by a handrail that people were using. eeek. I ordered a cup of crab chowder that was not very good. I've eaten a lot seafood chowders in my day and this just wasn't good. I had the asian shrimp tacos - they were Ok but the asian slaw was not edible ... it had no flavor. My husband ordered a caesar salad with a burger patty on top with light dressing or dressing on the side. It came loaded with dressing, and not what he wanted. Faith was our server and she said she could give him another bowl of lettuce and would have to charge for it. She actually charged $5 for a bowl of plain lettuce. No dessert needed. I have not had a meal this bad in all the years I'm doing these Yelp reviews. Yikes. Shows you that you need to read reviews and trust yelp. We will not be back. read more

We just stopped for a beer on day of riding and checking out breweries. This place is amazing! The views are beautiful so if it's a nice day I suggest sitting outside. This past weekend my family and I had a terrible dining experience at Wyndridge. From the time we walked in the door until we were finally out the door I was in disbelief that an establishment can be operating with such poor management. After securing reservations days in advance we were told by the host and manager that they had no idea how long we would have to wait to be seated. We were a party of 8 which included my elderly parents. Our seating was eventually expedited at my insistence but I did have to be very insistent. Our server was nice and attentive but the food was terrible. The brussel sprouts ordered as an appetizer were raw as were all the vegtables and rissoto served with the main dishes. The main entree portions weren't great either. We asked for replacements sides and were provided with undercooked watery mac n cheese, not the same dish I ordered for my daughter as a take out item which I dug into because my meal was so terrible. There was alot going on that evening, a wedding, local high school prom and Mothers Day weekend but management should be able to account for this type of activity and not overbook. Very disappointed. I have t been to Wyndridge in two years but something has changed. Food wasn't good. The buffalo chicken egg rolls and Mac & Cheese was lacking taste. Steak Filet was more like roast beef, the Asian ShrimpTacos were actually Old Bay shrimp and salty. Crab dip was decent. The young waiter did well. The restaurant has gone downhill since my last visit.The food is just ok. much of it is over salted. Made reservations for New Years Eve one month in advance.When we arrived they had not saved a table and tried to seat us at a bench table since other tables were not clean. the hostess said,sorry we are busy tonight. I replied that's why we made a reservation. She came back with "so did everyone else" . In the future I will book a reservation at a restaurant that actually saves a table. Excellent discovery today, thanks to a marketplace meetup in the parking lot right at opening time. We ended up indulging in beer and pizza for two for less than $20! Yes, less than, and it was very tasty. We had the white pizza with mushrooms added. The tip for great service made it over $20, but we enjoyed how they made the barn into such a great restaurant, brewery and event space. The acoustics weren't great, but they made some serious efforts at ramping down the echoes. The only thing we would have changed was the channel on the big TV. I came here for Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. We thought being that this was a wedding venue and that the menu online looked amazing, it would be a perfect date. Unfortunately, they sat us in a room with all of their brewery equipment, it felt very industrial and not romantic at all. We were then disappointed to know that they had a limited menu for Valentine's Day, and could not get what we had hoped when checking out their menu online. We ordered Brussels sprouts for the appetizers, which were incredibly yummy, and settled for ribeyes for dinner- instead of filets like we had wanted. They brought out the ribeyes, and the seasonal vegetables they came with were MORE Brussels sprouts. We had already eaten a plate full of them, and they brought us out more with our meal. I would have been happy to see literally any other veggie besides that. Overall, not somewhere I'd ever reccomend for a nice vday date, luckily my boyfriend and I were able to enjoy the night but it was all despite the restaurant's lack. I wish the waitress had told us that the seasonal veggie would be Brussels sprouts so we could order anything else for an app, and that they didn't seat us in a barn, instead of the nice restaurant room. Went there tonight with my family and the food was delicious! I did have to wait a bit for a table but it was worth it! It's a bit pricier so definitely not an every week place but great for a weekend meal. They didn't seem like they had enough staff but everyone there was working super hard. I inhaled my salmon so I didn't get a picture of that but it was so yummy! We also shared a charcuterie board and Brussels sprouts. Hands down my family's favorite place to go for food and drinks. Super friendly staff, outdoor events, and the pizza is amazing.

Really nice place. My first time visiting. We sat in the inside dining area, with bar and fireplace. Had a table in the corner for 8 people. Our party tried various beer and cider flights. I'm not a huge fan of beer so some were definitely better than others. I'm sure beer fans would love it. Do wish they offered more wine selections but they also have some cocktails as well. We had the broccoli and chicken pizza which was great, brick oven style, steamed shrimp (without onions) and house made Swiss roll, which was yummy. I would definitely try them again. We went to Wyndridge last week for my friend's birthday. I was late. The server was very attentive and placed orders for the children immediately. Fantastic! I got there for hors d'oeuvres, all the kids were happy and all my friends and there wives were starting, I settled in with a beer. Every time that I've been here the food has been good and the portions large. The only complaint was that the amazing crab bisque cup was a small portion. We had several pizzas, salads, roast beef and hand cut fries. I'm sorry, I didn't take photos of all the dinners and desserts, sample below. We sampled many of the ciders and beers. We ordered so much food I can barely remember what we got. All I do know is that it was delicious. I do remember the cauliflower crust pizza was amazing! Gluten free options make me happy because otherwise I couldn't eat here. I also had their lavender lemonade (alcoholic) and had them sub their Rosé for the vodka (I don't like non bubbly alcohol). Was in a wedding here and enjoyed a lot that the venue has to offer. We started getting ready downstairs in the morning and they provided fruit, bagels, cream cheese, mimosas, water, and coffee. The ceremony was in the event space and was beautiful. They were able to transform it from ceremony to dinner quickly and efficiently. Made a spontaneous Sunday evening trip to Wynridge for grub and grog. We were somewhat past primetime dinner hour so the crowd was waning but still a healthy presence for a Sunday evening. We love bar seating there so that was our chosen spot, overlooking the hustle of pouring, food prep, brick oven pizza and more. Our server was super attentive and nice, as she always is, and I neglected to get her name. It didn't appear on the chit either so next time I'll ask her, so she can get specific kudos. I enjoyed a Hazeway IPA to start and the Occasional Pale Ale with dinner. Really good. LJ had a Flight as she usually does, all selections were tasty too. Winding Path Brewing is the adder to the cidery that started this business. They do a great job brewing beer. My starter was the Smoked Wings, get these. I chose BBQ sauce, and my server assured me they would be extra crispy, perfect. (4) drums and (4) flats, very large, way more for the belly than I expected. Delicious! LJ started with a salad, colorful, fresh and crunchy. My main was the burger, cooked perfectly and so good. Hand cut fries can't be beat as the side. LJ had the special crab quesadilla with Old Bay remoulade. Exceptional but very rich, beware, depending on your belly tolerance. Took a date here this past Friday night and we loved it. First off it's a beautiful location out in the open with plenty of land to wonder around. We sat outside on the patio right next to the barn where a wedding reception was going on, so we had music to go along with our meal. She had the Shrimp tacos with fries and I had the Maryland crab soup, Bacon Burger for Brianna with mac & cheese. Both meals were delicious, burger was very greasy but still good. We both had a beer with our meal which were good, nothing over the top special with them, just above average. Service was very quick and our waitress was super nice and checked on us every once in awhile. We were there almost 5 hours total mostly talking and drinking after our meal. They weren't overly busy so we weren't asked to leave or rushed to finish up, I know we were taking up a table but never once felt like they wanted us to leave. My only real complaint is that on our way out we stopped in the gift shop area to grab a pint glass to take home but there was none with the Wyndridge Farm name and their fox symbol on it. Disappointed about that. Definitely will have to come back and try one of their pizzas, lots of other people around us got them and they looked and smelled good. read more

This has been on our bucket list for quite some time. I received a glass with their logo on it from a work trip maybe 8-10 years ago or so. We always wondered where is this place at. We've tried their cider locally in Pittsburgh before but noticed they were far out. We were driving home and I remembered that they were located off the York exit 30 minutes out of my way. We decided to go and thank god we did, this place was absolutely incredible. I had no idea that they made both wine and beer as well. The beer is under a different name but good as well. The food was incredible. We had some wings as an appetizer and our food was delicious. I ordered a sample of drinks and OMG the dry hopped and traditional were my favorites. The dry hop was minimal hop and it tasted just right. May be the best cider i've ever tried. When I ordered a glass they said 16 or 23, holy heck cider, not really good, it's like having a bottle of wine basically, and I went with the 23. We ended up leaving with a bunch of cider and beer to go. Loved this place, will be back again and this time to stay at the house on the property. Recommend going here if you like Cider. read more

Made reservations on Open Table for lunch on Saturday, but it didn't seem like it was needed, as we only saw one other couple. Sat outside on the patio seating, and they do have outdoor heaters (wasn't needed today). They do ordering by phone from the table, which is quick and efficient. I got a beer flight with River Hill Pils, Sunset Lager, 885 Porter, and Hazeway IPA (which ended up being my favorite). Also ordered a Spring Fog IPA pint along with my meal - Nashville hot chicken tacos. My partner ordered a Cider flight, and the smoked brisket sandwich (without the jalapeno aioli). Our food came out right and fast. The atmosphere is great, and I can understand why they host so many weddings. We overheard a server telling another party that the menu was expanding next week... it seems somewhat limited to mostly sandwiches and pizzas for our visit. As this place is about an hour drive away from home, I'm not sure I would come back for a meal without the menu getting some upgrades. Even the beer selection was somewhat small - I skipped the Wheat Ale as those aren't really my thing, but other than a barrel-aged stout, I drank their whole beer menu. They were taking COVID precautions pretty seriously, with masks enforced for staff and customers. They also had hand sanitizers in a few places. Delicious! We walked in on a beautiful Saturday without a reservation with 14 people and it included 7 girls on a cheer team. Not one person made us feel like a burden.
