A friend and I stopped in when I visited her in PA a couple of weeks ago. It was a really hot afternoon so we were very excited to come into an air conditioned room and try some cold beverages. The bartender let me try a couple of samples and then I settled on a beer that I found nice and tasty. I sat down at a table with my friend to drink our beverages. Other people were getting food but we were just interested in having a drink. The staff was very friendly but there were several families with little children, and the kids were running around barefoot screeching at the top of their lungs while the parents were eating and drinking. If it hadn't been for that, we probably would have stayed longer. Overall it's a nice place to grab a beverage and have a bite to eat. read more

Kinda bummed I love bacon and this was the first time in my life I could not eat the bacon. It did not taste good at all, like it was sitting in grease or just old. My husband agreed so I know it wasn't my taste buds. I mentioned it to a server and she just said she would check with the kitchen but offered nothing else, Maybe a fresh batch of fries without bacon would have been nice The brisket egg rolls were good but really could use more of the dipping sauce. It's nice that there is something in that old building. Their parking lot spaces are super tight also, just aware. They could use more parking, not sure where though. read more

This is a great place for a date! Lots of outdoor seating, very nice and modern. There is a little rooftop deck which has a nice view of the sunset. This place is so cute, and very well decorated and kept clean. This place is also kid and pet friendly, as there is a bouncy house for the kids and lots of outdoor area for dogs. The inside is also very big, lots of seating in there as well. They have plenty of drink options and do specials. They even have a little outdoor to go window. Would definitely return here, the outdoor seating area is honestly beautiful and very well kept! read more

I've never actually heard of this brewery until the other day. However, I'm glad I ran across it. They had a nice size parking area, and they have a big outdoor seating area I would have used if not so hot that day. The inside also had a good amount of seating. Looks like they host lots of fun events and have good food. We went on July 4th it was a little busy they only had one poor sole running the whole place, but he did a great job! I wanted to try a mix drink, so I ordered a tipsy mermaid, which was pretty good. My boyfriend went with a flight for $14 and got four different stouts/porters. Every time we come we are a little skeptical because we always seem to get bad service, this time service wasn't as bad but they were not very busy and we sat at the bar.. This time I thought I would order food probably should Have stopped at the beer . The portion sizes were very small and disappointing . I ordered the chicken teriyaki salad, and for $14 it came with only a few small pieces of chicken and a very limited amount of salad -- definitely not worth the price. read more

As a resident in the community, I can honestly say they are one of the most irresponsible businesses in Southern York County. On numerous occasions they've had live music which disturbs the entire community. Calls to the manager fall on deaf ears and they continue to create a disturbance until closing. They are very inconsiderate to their neighbors and community that have lived here for years. Furthermore, there has been an increase in litter in the form of beverage cups and food containers on our pristine rail trail and nearby creek which they neglect to clean up. Before choosing to eat or drink here, we recommend that you read all of their reviews and you'll get a sense of the poor operation they run. read more

Went here on a Friday at like 5:30pm and sat at the bar. Tons of room, lots of places to hang, inside or outside. Friendly service! Seems like they enjoy being around each other. Very good beer - huge selection! Husband tried a few different ones and enjoyed them all. Can't remember the names because I was distracted by my food. I am going to have dreams about the Willow sandwich - easily the best sandwich I've ever had. Husband got a pretzel that took a bit - but then we learned that was because it was homemade - and boy did it taste that way!! We've definitely found our new favorite spot, thankfully we live close by! Will be back again soon! read more

Unfortunately, I have to be one of those people but when you have been handling your two year old all day and are so excited for a nice cold drink and a good burger to find that your night is going to be ruined by the establishment that you thought would fulfill those needs. First recommendation, have servers. Second, just because the owner is in the building doesn't mean that the guests are last - WE PAY YOUR BILLS! Ordered two burgers and a kids meal - one burger and a kids meal comes out. 30 minutes later, still no second burger. The people next to us ask if we are missing food because they "work there". And I said yes my burger but no worries we notified them. Someone brings a burger to the table and instead of giving it to me gives it to the man who sat down an hour after us. I got pissed and went to the bar again to ask what the deal was. The lady at our table comes up and says what's the issue and I said "I think your husband is eating my burger so I'm just going to cancel it." Come to find out it's the OWNERS! So you not only ate my burger after I said I was missing mine but then you offer me and my fiancé a free drink to apologize LOL. I'm sorry but your skunked glass of wine is not going to solve my hunger but thank you! I'm in the guest relations industry and I can tell you that giving a free glass of wine to someone who was so pissed that they cancelled their food order is NOT the resolution lol. No wonder your Bel Air location closed. Get with it because the service you're delivering is not it. No wonder the parking lot is empty the majority of the time. Do better. read more

The beer here is ok, not the best by far, but ok. The main issues facing this establishment is clearly the way its managed and organized. The staff and general service is lackluster. Lines form and wait times are extremely long sometimes. The way the ordering of food and drinks is organized creates a terrible bottleneck in service speed. Food overall is extremely hit or miss. Never really know what you're going to get. Will it be a full plate, half plate, will it be cold, etc. You just never know. The ambiance is more akin to a cafeteria with Ikea bought hightop tables. Its an ok layout but definitely not something for a part wishing for their own table. read more

AleCraft has great food & brews! As someone who normally isn't a fan of craft brews, I can say that I love multiple beers from AleCraft. They have taps that are their brews but also have taps of other local business brews, ciders, seltzers, etc. It's a fun ambiance for families - they'll put up a bounce house when the weather is nice, and they have lots of land with grass and even a creek! read more

We were in the southern PA area for my nieces wedding and decided to meet at a local brewery the day before. After searching online we decided to meet at Alecraft and the 12 family members who made it were pleased with the choice. Harry Potter weekend had started so the pumpkin ale was one of the specials. Having tasted many poor pumpkin beers I was reluctant so I tried a sample and thought it was one of the best I have had. We ordered some food and were also pleased. We checked out the lower level were the beer was made with the staff very friendly and willing to answer questions. The bar area was understaffed but did a great job of serving our needs. The cold rain kept us from enjoying the outside seating area, but will be a great incentive to return. read more

We recently hosted a Penn State York Alumni Association Happy Hour at Alecraft. It's a super-casual, nice place. There are many seating options. An outdoor patio area and another outdoor area upstairs, with picnic tables. We decided to sit indoors at the high-tops. There are many of them and they are large....great to accommodate a group! We had two of them. Patrons place their food and drink orders at the bar. The two gals that were working that evening were very friendly and provided excellent service. Food was brought to the table. Everyone really enjoyed their food choices! | had a delicious chicken quesadilla. Those with fish and chips next to me, had large, yummy-looking servings. I was surprised that along with beer, they had wine and liquor choices. Someone was conducting a "paint night" while we were there and it appears that they host trivia nights and other special events. Eryn, one of the owners, was very accommodating in planning our visit. This was my first time at Alecraft, but I certainly look forward to returning! read more

This was a very pleasant surprise ! We traveled to try a beer float. This was delicious with the Treated Streets Porter (#8) which has a caramel finish. This was also excellent on its own. Everyone around us is as raving about the food. I'll be returning to dine , next time. Beautiful atmosphere inside and out along the trail. The Trailside Amber Lager (#4) and the Night Owl Irish Stout (#10) all delicious! You can even rent a tent for up to 7 people. $100 for two hours and a private server. We are excited to return . This one is worth the drive. Bring your bike and ride the Trail. -Tim read more

We were looking forward to going to this new place since we like to support local businesses. But unfortunately, we did not have a great experience. The food was just not good. They have mainly sandwiches. I ordered the roast beef sandwich which came out on cold stale bread and cheese that was slightly melted but the roast beef was ice cold. My companions had a ham biscuit which was extremely dry and the other diner had the same sandwich as myself which was equally cold and dry. The French fries were clumped together on the plate ....but at least the pickle was tasty. At $18 per sandwich, we expected better food quality and service (it's basically place your order and they bring it to you). As for beers, they had a good selection. So as I think about our overall experience... If you're looking for a meal I'd consider going elsewhere. If you're looking for a wide selection of beers then you may like this establishment. I only hope they improve food quality as well as to offer a wider selection of food that's better than you can get at the deli section of Walmart. read more

Our party of 4 all received their meals at wide time differences except for the 4th person who went hungry. We waited more than hour for the 4th dish, which never arrived. Asked a server for assistance but had no response. Went back to the counter where we ordered and requested a refund. Will not return. read more
