I highly recommend Wynnewood nails and spa for anyone who likes to get their eyebrows arched. I came here last Saturday and although it was crowded service moved pretty fast. The front desk lady was very professional she reassured me that I would be seen soon. After about 6 minutes of waiting I was able to get my eyebrows done and boy did she slay me! It's been a week later and my eyebrows still look as if they just got done. The salon is neat and prices were affordable. I was feeling this little place as I had been here twice before but I'm pissed to be honest. It's NYE; I came in here yesterday with my boyfriend as we both had an appointment 2 hours before close... So I assumed that would be enough time but they rushed anyway. They charged me $75 for a French manicure. The length was super long but that was my fault because I said long but these were wayyyyyyy too long. I called prior to coming here as I live an hour away to inquire about having the nails trimmed, reshaped and polished again. The lady on the phone remembered who I was and what I got without even saying (probably because she knew the nails were a mess) once I arrived the lady who did my nails prior was basically trying to tell me I got what I asked for but I didn't agree. There was a lady who removed my polish then straight up walked off and started working on someone else, leaving me sitting here for another hour. I'm sitting here typing this as I wait patiently but I feel like I'm about to erupt. Please don't waste your time or money because it won't be valued here... Nice staff overall but I feel undervalued as a customer for not being made a priority after spending nearly $200 here. read more

This salon just opened a few weeks ago, and they are very eager to please! Natalie (the owner) greeted me when I entered the salon and she was extremely attentive and courteous. The selection of gel polish is impressive - the colors are displayed on a spiral wheel, making it much easier to view the vast selection. I chose the spa pedicure, which was very luxurious. The foot and leg massage was firm and relaxing. They are highly motivated to please since they are new to the neighborhood. They are currently offering 20% of all spa services as a grand opening special. Highly recommended! read more

Pros- the salon is clean, you never have a long wait and I'd open 7 days a week. If you're getting a Mani & pedi and they aren't crowded the nail tech will service you at the same time as your feet are getting done. However, I've gone several times with my sister and each time we've gotten the gel manicure. Our nails always chip within a few days. When my sister went back to get her nail re polished the nail tech told her she should get the powder because it lasts longer. (And also costs more money). Gel should last more than a couple of days. My sister and I both stopped going to Wynnewood Nails and haven't had a problem with my nails chipping. read more

First off, I am an avid nail biter and that's why I needed my nails taken care of. At first sight, the nail tech at Wynnewood- along with 4 other nail techs proceeded to laugh, giggle, and speak rudely about me in their native language. It was EXTREMELY embarrassing. Not only for me, but for the guest that I brought along with me... There were only two other people in the shop ... GO FIGURE... that should've been my first sign that the place was trash and lacked customer service. While laughing, the original nail tech that sat me down handed me off to another and she proceeded to rush through my nails to beat the close-time buzzer beater. Literally one of the worst nail salon experiences I have ever had in my entire life! Where do I even begin, I had Angela..received a pedicure that somehow left my two big toes in excruciating pain. She tried to clean up the sides and somehow went into deep and yanked my toe nail off creating hang nails they were non existent before I walked in. I asked her to stop because it was painful, however continued to keep going. She failed to scrub the dead skin on of my heel, gave me the lightest "massage", then plopped nail polish on which I had to ask for her to clean up the sides which I'm pretty positive she wasn't going to do otherwise. Really starting to think this nail salon cater to some ethnicity groups. Today l walked in to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately my nail tech was booked until Christmas. No sorry, give me your number if someone cancels or anything. She told me to come back after Christmas. Really? Spend Christmas with unkept nails? I have been a loyal customer for the past six months. Always leaving great tips. A couple of weeks ago l came in at 6:30 on Saturday they eagerly explained they closed at 7 and could not do my nails. I would not write this post but l have seen the same scenarios occur with Caucasian customers and they were always able to accommodate. Also the owner and l have the same name but for some reason she never know who l am. The Caucasian women receives welcome with their name. However when l walk in it's 'Can l help you'. Great experience here with a pedicure. The technician was friendly, and did an excellent job! She asked me twice, if the water was a comfortable temperature, and even though they were a little busy, didn't rush. Most of the customers seemed to be regulars, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I should have spoke up and said something, but I seriously thought they were SO much better than this. I saw my nail tech spray the tools with an alcohol spray bottle which I thought was weird. Aren't they already supposed to be clean? And cleaned WAY better than a measly spray? But nope I kept my mouth shut paid my $25 plus $5 tip and left to not only get AN INFECTED CUTICLE. I have never in my life gotten an infection. View the pics if you don't believe me. The place is pretty clean and well stocked. The staff tend to talk to each other rather than focus on what they are doing, they have two tvs that are always on, and are too loud to drown out even if you wear headphones, and the front desk people never look happy to see you. I have been there 5x over the past two years and am finally calling it quits with them. They are adequate, but I would much rather spend time in a friendlier, quieter place that was less like an assembly line. read more

Came here to get a dip powder manicure... had a decent experience at the time (a woman I called there kind of fudged the price of the expected manicure but that could have been miscommunication) but while my manicurist was buffing, my cuticles hurt slightly, stinging as she painted my nails too. When I came home, they were slightly inflamed and two days later they're extremely inflamed (Please see the picture around my ring finger and a bit around my pinky... There's a giant cut she left). It turns out the buffer left a cut around my cuticle so I'd just really recommend being sensitive when you feel pain here as they're not that conscious in what they're doing. read more

I made the mistake of getting my eyebrows done here don't do it!!! I did get my nails and toes done here though and they did a great job!

I have been to this salon multiple times when I need a quick service. It is a clean salon, the staff is usually friendly, and they're never usually busy. Some visits have been better than others, but this was the last time they will be receiving my business. They have very mediocre service. I went this past weekend and it was empty so my friend and I got seated very quickly. The one worker was in a rush and when I asked for white polish, she of course offered me the additional 2 dollar polisIh. I didn't mind. As she was painting my nails I questioned was the polish ever going to become white/opaque (it was a very light sheer white)and she insisted the next coat of color would be "white". It never was white and this was about five coats in. Unfortunately for me, I was in a rush so I didn't have time to change the color and get re-polished. All in all I will not be returning. If you're going and you need a service done quickly I guess you can go here. However just know they have subpar service. So please save your self the time, money, frustration in the long run and go somewhere else. read more

I have been happy with the way my nails look, however i have never been to a salon that charges you to remove the previous polish. I was getting a dip manicure and they charged me an additional $10 to remove the dip i already had on my nails (which i had gotten done by them 2 weeks prior). They charge $5 to remove gel and $10 to remove dip which makes no sense because you remove both the same way. $35 for dip + an additional $10 for removal is hefty. read more

The last time I went was a disaster! I went for acrylic + pedicure- the lady convinced me to get dip, fine. So the salon was quite empty, but they insisted on doing my manicure while my pedicure was being done, I didn't like this b/c the lady kept yanking my left arm to reach the right side of the chair & I couldn't use the massager b/c I needed to be still. They asked if I wanted some special upgrade to the pedicure, I said okay, but they literally did nothing extra to my feet and the paint job was very sloppy. I asked the lady to file my nail bed lightly b/c it was already damaged and thin...STILL she filed it aggressively & cut me SEVERAL times leaving my cuticle bleeding. Then I asked her not to do my dip too thick, she did it anyway against my wishes. She had an attitude the ENTIRE time. At the end, my price was $120 for an incredibly BASIC dip powder manicure + pedicure. I will NEVER step foot in that salon again. Worst customer experience of my life. read more
