So this is a typical hood salon found in every hood across the country. Trust, I've gotten my nails done in Compton, Harlem and now West Philly, it's all the same, but not always in a bad way. What makes it rachet is the location, not the service or shop itself. I went in initially on a Saturday afternoon, and the wait was pretty long as to be expected, so I sat in the little waiting area for my turn. The clients were yelling, and cursing and basically just being a stereotypical mess, but that doesn't really faze me, so whatever (if that would bother you, this may not be your spot). Got tired of waiting, so I left and came back early Sunday morning. It was a completely different place. The girls working (who are all sisters, and gorgeous btw) were very sweet, professional and funny. They were quick, did a great job and I was on my way. Will return, this was the first nail salon I went to that didn't push for tips to be applied to my natural nail length. When I wasn't sure of the different nail polish techniques the one that did my nails was patient and explained everything in detail. I felt comfortable and the service was quick and well done. Everyone loved my nails and was surprised I wasn't sitting there all day. I will be returning for my next visit and maybe next time I'll get my eyelashes done. read more

My biggest mistake ever was continuing to go to a place with bad customer service!! They do ok nails but the best nail tech they had left over a year ago... I went to her! After finding out she wasn't returning I tried to give them a chance however it was a Big Ass Mistake!! First they never come on time their always late!! Techs are Marlene & Shayla! Have the Nastiest Attitudes ever, they never speak, don't respond to you when you ask questions!! Once they finally get there after you waited for over a hour, they have the nerve to do to the store, & Marlene goes to smoke a cigarette, never acknowledge yoU & never apologize!! Super Fucking Ghetto!! They can't do any design you ask for but over charge you a lack luster work! Always promoting gel nail sets because the polish cost more$$! Then what really gets me is they act like their Better than their customers!! Always talking about ppl in Cambodian tongue having inside jokes & laughing at ppl!! Seriously Fucking Rude!! What really Also gets me is they say No Kids Allowed however they have two Dirty Ass Shitzu Dogs in there that are really filthy & unsanitary!! No place for pets!! I absolutely love this nail salon! I have been coming to this place for about a year and will continue to do so even though I relocated to a different area in philly. I recommend you come early because there are only 2/3 nail techs who work here and the wait can get really long. One time I waited for 4 hours before being serviced (that's how good they are). If you go, ask for Amy, she is amazziinnngggggg! She does pedis, overlays, and eyebrows perfectly. There is only one thing I am not a fan of, the dogs. There are 2 dogs who belong to the owners and that is my only issue because I am not a dog person. But if you are, then you will have zero issues with this place. read more

Terrible terrible terrible service all the girls do is walk around and tend to their two little doggies.. I must admit they do great work but it's not Worth waiting 2 1/2 hours for. Most days the salon says they open at 11 but the only people that are there are girls that can do pedicures or very simple things like remove your polish. If you want a full set get ready to wait and the also DO NOT DO APPOINTMENTS . The real nails technicians don't arrive till 1230 or 1 o'clock and when they do arrive they take way too long to settle down and tend to the customers. I've just finished my first visit here. To say the ladies were busy would be an understatement, but, each nail tech did a great job multitasking. I'd called ahead to ask if they took walk ins and was told yes. When asked how long the wait was I was told 20 minutes, I waited around 25-30 before being asked what service I was there for. As I watched a few customers come and go I noticed how friendly the techs were, calling each customer by name which I find to be rare. They have a huge selection of gel colors to choose from, bigger than my usual spot. I was in a rush and told my tech( I believe her name was Muriel or Miranda, my apologies for not having gotten it correct) that I didn't have ALOT of time. She understood, and got right on it. I got a flawless gel manicure, even with the time crunch, with her having to add tips to two of my nails, AND adding a glitter topcoat. While the service was great, I have 4 starts for the wait. Next time I'll be making an appointment. read more
