Servers with nothing to do when they claim "staffing issues."
    Bacon L.

I read online reviews and the menu for this restaurant and thought it sounded like a good option for my family for dinner. When we arrived we were met with a sign that said that due to staffing issues, dinner was buffet only. We checked with the hostess to ensure there would be steak available on the buffet and were assured there was. Sadly, the buffet was tiny and the meat options were bbq ribs, bbq chicken, pulled pork, and prime rib. No steaks. All the meat options were smoked (not indicated on the menu (except for the prime rib). For $30 a person, dessert should be included in the price. It should be noted that the only "staffing issue" I observed was that the place seemed to be incredibly OVER staffed. There were so many servers (15 by my count) and hostesses (4), that they spent the majority of their time leaning against counters talking to each other. Not much for them to do other than get drinks and clear plates.

Just no. It was extremely loud and the cook was very rude making rude comments. The buffet was not it either. The ribs were pink and the bun tasted stale and most of the food was overly seasoned and the corn was hard to bite into. It was a big no. Not to mention the prices were astronomical and was definitely not worth it and I wouldn't be surprised if that food was out there sense that this morning. My daughter didn't want the buffet from just the looks so she ordered a steak and it was terrible not to mention over cooked. It was so bad that we went to Dairy Queen instead.

    Ribeye & Broccoli

Small menu. Prime Rib fork tender. Huckleberry Vinaigrette tangy. Steamed broccoli seasoned and crisp. Dinner rolls light and fluffy. Honey butter- ehh. Ribeye juicy and a little over seasoned. Hostess soft spoken, could barely hear her. Server did not come by for drink refills. Passed on the pie. Decor is part steakhouse, part bar, part bbq joint, part pie shop?

Similar to Texas Roadhouse but with fry bread instead of rolls. Ok food, nothing amazing.

Service was great. Staff was friendly. Food and drinks were very good and totally hit the spot.

I'll start with the not so good. My wife's burger which she ordered "well" was cooked medium. She doesn't care for any pink in her burger. My burger, while cooked correctly was very dry and lacked the good "char" taste we've come to expect with our burgers in Cody. My daughter in law ordered the dinner salad which is clearly marked on the menu as being served with baked cheesy bread. No bread was served with the salad. When we brought this to the attention of our waitress she insisted the bread was not included. My daughter in law also asked for a side of the vinaigrette salad dressing the waitress recommended to try in attention to the ranch dressing. The vinaigrette was never brought to the table. A few things that could be done better: If you offer peanuts to snack on then put them on the table so customers who want them do not have to wait 15 minutes for them to be brought tot the table. Serve the burgers on plates and not in small baskets. Eating a burger and fries from a tiny basket is a pain. Plates please. Waitresses need to check on the table more often. The good: timely seating for a party of eight, fairly decent prices, and taste of food, while not the best we've had in town was pretty good.

The place buzzes with lots of great energy the moment you pull up to it! And the staff are super friendly and helpful! We got tickets for dinner and show. The dinner is a Chuck wagon style all you can buffet brisket, chicken, and lots of sides! Brisket and chicken were TENDER and moist! SO GOOD! Mac & cheese was my favorite side dish. There was also salad, beans, and cornbread. Lemonade and iced tea was included (I made myself an Arnie Palmer). Free refills! And there were brownies and ice cream for dessert! Food was served hot and fast! I can't say enough how friendly the staff were! The show featured the Triple C band!!! And THEY WERE AMAZING! I enjoy country music but I'm not a die-heart fan and even I enjoyed every song they played! And they were hilarious and really gave the audience a great show!! After each member was introduced they would play a song that highlighted that band member's talent and boy - THEY WERE INCREDIBLY TALENTED! they had us on our feet dancing and rocking! It was super fun! And they were also on time! I came on my first night in town so I was tired... they started on time and they finished on time! So I felt like they really respected my time and my energy! Will definitely recommend to others!

We finally had to flag someone down to take our order. By that point, our son was starving, so we decided to order just one meal to see if the service would improve. He ordered the "Lobstah Roll" with a side of butter. What arrived was more like a cold seafood salad on a roll, along with a side of cold butter. Had he known that's what it was, he definitely wouldn't have ordered it. We weren't expecting an authentic Maine lobster roll, but if you're going to spell it "Lobstah," there are certain expectations--and this wasn't close. At some point, our original server seemed to realize she had forgotten about us, but the service never recovered. No one checked on us, offered refills, or asked if we wanted anything else. When we were ready to leave, we literally had to hold our credit card up to get someone's attention so we could pay and get out of there. Ironically, the moment we left, two employees immediately appeared to clear the table. The funny thing is that we saw other tables receiving great service throughout our visit. Maybe we were just unlucky, but based on our experience, I'd avoid sitting where we sat. Good luck to the next guests assigned that table.

Off season, Irma hotel and buffet are very slow but the food is definitely better than busy season (when tourists show up for yellow stone). Highly recommend the clam chowder. I know Wyoming isn't really famous for any of that but their clam chowder is very good. We ordered the prime rib sandwich, the bison ribs, and the buffalo sandwich/burger. If you don't like heavy meats, stay away from bison ribs cuz it's super heavily seasoned to cover bison's distinctive gaminess. Also it's not as tender as you want it to be. The regular burger and the steak were pretty good from Irma. It's quite consistent. Surprisingly, the fries were very good. Especially the onion rings. Give it a try, for meat lovers, this place might be a pleasant surprise. But if you are looking for more delicate presentation and more distinctive tastes, I will recommend you some other spots around town in my other reviews. Enjoy the wilderness and nature ~

Maybe I'm just used to a meatloaf with more ingredients such as onions, bell peppers and some filler ( most of the time it is oatmeal). The sandwich did have pepper jack cheese and steakhouse aioli that should have lent a little flavor to the sandwich but unfortunately did not. The onion rings could have saved the day for the meal but the onions were sliced too thin and were swallowed up by batter.
