Everyone is required to show ID regardless of age. Once inside you'll stand in another line to show your tickets. Parking is $2. If there's a show or lecture you'd like to see make sure to line up about 20 minutes before to secure your spot. The lines get long fast and space is limited. There were a good number of vendors serving drinks and a couple with food. Theres also a small corner with vendors selling goods. The biggest issue was that the teachers didn't seem very patient with the children, which made my child feel uncomfortable. The classroom conditions were also below our expectations. The camp doesn't provide lunch, and there wasn't much for the kids to do during the lunch break. They were each given a ball to play with, but there were no organized activities. Much of the time, the children were outside near the entrance in the hot sun, which was uncomfortable on warm days. This was our personal experience, and other families may have different experiences. However, if you're considering this camp, I would recommend asking about the teachers' approach, lunch arrangements, and midday activities before enrolling.

The production value alone is enough to write a review about. This is no pop-up drag show in some bar, this is a full-on production with seasoned and dedicated queens. We are talking professional sound, multiple lighting engineers, and a legit stage with all of the theatrical bells and whistles. The walls are covered with portraits of all the queens who have graced the building over the years. It's the type of place where you can just FEEL the history. You can tell it is clearly a very special and well-loved place. Have an occasion coming up? Darcelle's is a fabulous place to celebrate a birthday, wedding, divorce, anything! They have seated drag shows Friday and Saturday nights (followed by the men of Darcelle's strip show!), and a drag brunch show on Sundays (only $32 for breakfast AND a show!). On Tuesday nights they do an open call drag competition and it's only $5 to get in and they have $7 drink and food specials all night. You cannot beat that deal...especially being downtown! As someone who works weekends in the entertainment industry, it is amazing to have something fun and affordable to do on a Tuesday night. Do not miss this experience!

We were a little on the fence about hiring a doula since this was our second baby, but we really wanted that holistic, nurturing care that a hospital alone can't always provide -- and Nomarie was exactly what we'd hoped for. I'm not what you'd call a "country granola" type of mom -- I went into this birth fully planning on (and very much wanting!) all the pain relief and medical support. But there's still such an important place for a doula in that environment. Nomarie helped bring warmth, connection, and a truly holistic touch to what could have otherwise felt like a very clinical experience. From the very first meeting, she made us feel comfortable, supported, and truly heard. She took the time to understand our hopes for the birth and was such a calming, confident presence every step of the way. When labor began, Nomarie was our angel -- grounding us through every contraction, guiding my partner on how to support me, and helping us navigate all the twists and turns that came our way. Even when things got complicated after our baby was born, she never left our side. Her steady reassurance and calm energy made us feel safe and less scared during a really overwhelming moment. Looking back, I honestly can't imagine our birth experience without her. She helped us feel empowered and cared for in one of the most intense and beautiful moments of our lives. I would recommend Doula Love and Nomarie a thousand times over -- they gave us the support we didn't even know we needed.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a world where sweat glistens a bit more elegantly. The MAC isn't just a gym it's a sanctuary of stature. You don't simply walk in... oh no, you belong here. Membership isn't a convenience, it's a declaration. Behind those doors lies a realm of polished marble, hushed conversations, and the faint, dignified clink of perfectly chilled water glasses. Inside, it's sleek immaculately so. Machines aligned like soldiers of fortune, locker rooms that whisper spa-day indulgence, and a calm that feels imported from somewhere far more exclusive than downtown Portland. This is where ambition meets tranquility... where CEOs, legacy names, and those in-the-know escape the city's chaos without ever leaving it. And the vibe? Think Nob Hill with a gym membership and a trust fund. There's no chaos, no clanging weights echoing into oblivion just refined motion, deliberate pace, and an understanding that wellness, like wealth, should be curated. So if you find yourself wandering downtown, peering in like Gatsby outside the green light, just know: this isn't merely a place to work out. It's a lifestyle one you don't stumble into... you ascend into. Lifestyles of the fit and the fabulous, darling.

The a la Grivois cocktail started the experience on a high note: amaro and vermouth together make for a velvety sweetness. The house green soup was a winner, I'm sure the French Onion would be also. We were there for prime rib night and their version rivals that at Clyde's: a hearty cut and full of flavor. At first glance, I was disappointment to see scalloped-type potatoes, but these were the best I've had. The warm bread and salad were above par. Great service by one of the long time waiters.
