The back side of our house had settled 1 - 2-1/2" in the 25 years we lived here. I called Antonio in October 2024 and he came out and gave me a couple estimates for 2 different options. He also told me he was booked through mid February. His bid was competitive, his timeframe to start in mid February was spot on, a lot of his equipment (hydraulic pumps, truck to inject polyurathane) looked brand new, his guys were professional and on time. The lead employee, Alejandro was great! He always checked in with me when he arrived and he always knocked on the door to inform me they were leaving. He was very patient as I was always asking questions about what they were doing, what was next, etc. and he was always patient answering my questions and even going to grab some of the devices being used to show me and help me understand more. They installed 12 push piers on the back side of my house along with 15 Strong Jacks under the house. 8 of the push piers involved taking out dozens of deck boards. One board broke when taking apart, they replaced it with a new board and offered to stain the new board. You can't tell that dozens of boards needed to be removed for the job as the deck looks like day 1. It is great to have our house back to level and really appreciated Antonio's honesty as he used less polyurethane to inject under a slab than he expected so he had me deduct some off the contract amount. read more

Antonio and his team did a great job on my foundation support work. When they started the job, they came to work on time every day though it was raining. They worked through the rain. It was a hard and dirty work but his crew worked it well and kept the site clean as much as they could. In addition to installing the push piers, they also put stitches inside the house. They did more than I expected them to and also Antonio did the foam to lift up part of my concrete with no extra cost. Antonio kept me updated and the project was completed successfully. These guys are great! We had some horizontal cracking along the base of our garage. Antonio completed a thorough investigation of our property prior to listing it for sale. He found some things that our foundation expert failed to see when we moved in and provided a quick estimate for remediation. He let us know which items should be addressed first for precautionary reasons, which items to watch, and which items might be considered for longterm prevention (drainage improvements). At the end of day, we had carbon fiber straps installed in the garage location where his recommendation was made. I had foundation repair service from this company in 2020 and received a 25 years warranty . But I still have foundation settling problems after repairs. I called the company owner Antonio many times telling them I'm still having issues after I patch my dry walls, the new cracks appearing, and my family room door still settling after they trim the top. Every time they just send one guy come to check and do some adjustment on the steal supporting post and send an engineer to tell me my foundation is fine, but it never worked., I new cracks show more and more in my house.The owner refuse to do more work. I am incredibly happy that I decided to hire Xalos for my foundation repair project at my home in Sonoma. I cannot recommend them enough. Antonio and his team are true professionals, and I don't believe any other company in the area could have accomplished what they did, especially at the cost they provided. One side of my house had detached and was essentially sliding down a hill, but now it is completely level and stable. The result is perfect and almost unbelievable, considering where it started. Background: After purchasing my house several years ago, I discovered that the foundation was cut in half, causing one side of it to slowly slide down the hill. The previous seller had covered up the issue by installing new floors. I had several foundation repair companies visit to take measurements and provide quotes. I found that other companies offered a one-size-fits-all solution of installing hydraulic piers around the entire perimeter of the house. This approach did not seem appropriate for my situation for several reasons, the most important being that their proposals would not result in a level floor due to how the slab was sliding. When Antonio and his team visited, they took the time to understand and diagnose the specific problem at hand and then devised an engineering proposal to address it. Since their solution did not require installing dozens of piers, it was also much more affordable. Another significant issue was that I needed to replace the plumbing system in the bathroom, which had to be done in the middle of the foundation project. Antonio partnered with another excellent company, North End Plumbing, and coordinated with them to complete both projects simultaneously. In addition to all this, Antonio and his team worked through several challenges and unexpected setbacks. They discovered that a previous attempt to repair the foundation had been made but ultimately failed, requiring his team to excavate a huge amount of concrete. There was also a major water leak under the house, and the Sonoma permit department threw a few curveballs as well. From my perspective, it was a mess, but Antonio put my mind at ease and handled each issue with diligence and professionalism. read more

Before selling our house, we had a home inspection that turned up a problem with part of the foundation. I called Xalos, based on the positive reviews, to request a consultation. Antonio answered the phone right away - it's so aggravating that so many contractors go straight to voicemail, and you're lucky if you ever get a callback! He asked me to send photos from the inspection and advised me on the options for dealing with the crack in the foundation, giving approximate prices for the repairs. Many contractors will just schedule a time for an inspection, come out (eventually) and read you "the riot act" about how bad your problem is. Andy, the estimator suggested, that the old pier posts be replaced with heavy duty screw jacks to support the existing beams. On the day of the job, both Andy and his co-worker arrived on time and again reviewed what work was going to be performed. After the job was completed, they shared photos of their work. Andy also pointed our that an old galvanized drain pipe was leaking and could create some issues if not repaired. We use Xalos to level our house that was built in 1955 on Adobe soil, and one corner had dropped 4 inches lower than the center of the house. We had postponed having this type of service performed due to the fear of the high cost of a project like this. However, we realized that the sagging foundation was going to cause more problems in the future if we did not have it fixed. I was pleasantly surprised with how affordable the quote was, and also happy we were able to get the work done within a month or so of the original visit. When the crew got here, they were very professional and respectful of our home and yard. They also took the time to explain the steps throughout the project, and always left the site clean at the end of the day. Overall, I found this company to be very easy to work with. Antonio is outstanding. We had to change out A majority of our foundation's support Jacks, add a sump pump, add a moisture barrier, and dig out to make the crawlspace to code. He worked quickly, was fairly priced and was kind. The support Jacks have a warranty and no doubt if there were any problems, I know he would come back. When we were installing our flooring, he came back and adjusted the subfloor. He's professional and knowledgeable and great and easy to work with. Shopping for a company to level your house isn't a fun process. It's an expensive job and not as much fun as say, having your house painted. That said, it's an unfortunate necessity for some of us. My wife set up a number of estimates for us and we suffered through them. It's not that the estimators were bad. The price was just scary, but we'd assumed it would be costly. Our first estimate actually came from Xalos. I remember discussing it after and saying we hoped they came in cheapest because we really liked Antonio and just the general feeling he gave us about the whole project. After a couple more estimates, we found the prices to be in the same boat give or take a few thousand dollars. Xalos wasn't the cheapest. They weren't the most expensive either, but we both just had a feeling about the company. We followed our guts and went with Xalos. We didn't regret it for one second. From the very beginning we could tell this company is different from basically any other contractor we've dealt with. (Working in property management, I personally have experienced quite a few.) At the beginning of almost every day, we got a rundown of what to expect for that day. And at the end of every day, we got a review of how things were going and what to expect moving forward. The team was polite, efficient and clean. They worked at our house for just over three weeks and at the end of everyday, they left the job site pristine. They told us that their plan was to make it look like they'd never been there when the job was done. I was a tad disbelieving BUT, they did. When they left on the last day, everything looked the same as when they'd started. Actually, it looked a bit cleaner even!
