A wonderful and great show for the entire family. Xavier and his assistants are very entertaining and use audience participation. He uses very good variety of illusions, magic tricks, juggling, skits, etc. My wife found this show one of the most fascinating that she has seen. The Strat Theater is great and staff is excellent. Meet and greet after the show is also fun. Highly recommend you see this show!

It was an amazing show with mind blowing magic tricks. One of our friends continued saying "How did he do that??" even after the show was done. I love how there is crowd interactions, asking people questions, and even bringing up people on stage! Belle is talented and hilarious! The show definitely had a little bit of everything for everyone. We were very pleased attending as a group of adults, but I definitely think this show is family-friendly and children would have fun too! We laughed so much. Kept us engaged and entertained the whole time. Will be recommending it to all my friends that visit Vegas. (You also get to meet the performers afterwards as well.)

Had a great time at the show. It was a good bang for the buck considering how expensive Vegas shows can get. Xavier was extremely entertaining and had a very unique concept for his storytelling. His assistant Belle is also very talented and it was cool seeing a love story like magic show. It's also great that Xavier does photo ops with his fans for free after the show. You can tell he's very passionate about what he does and cares for his fans.

Best magic show in Las Vegas! You need to check this show at Stratosphere Casino! You won't regret! Very entertaining, super funny and kids friendly.

Xavier and his Belle posed for photos with anyone who wanted a picture. Such a fun night!

Such a great show! My husband and I are on a mission to see a magician each month- absolutely did not disappoint. Part magic, part silent storytelling, it had hints of his Cirque background with his mind blowing tricks. So many times I asked my husband "what did we just see", lol. I recommend a VIP seat- it's better up close. The only downside (and this had nothing to do with the show)- hope you're not in the theater with the guest that wants to make the show about him. The show got derailed a bit by a guy who wanted to make the most of his chance on stage- and proceeded to yell at every chance he could. Super distracting as a patron, but Xavier and the rest of the performers handled it professionally and with grace. Great for all ages, lots of audience participation- an absolute treat.

I found the show to be entertaining, but it wasn't what I had expected. I had never heard of Xavier Mortimer before, but his little opening movie that showed his internet stunts helped me gain some familiarity with him. Beyond that, the show itself confused me a little. Is it family-friendly or is it for adults? These stunts. Is he a magician or is he a street performer. Pre-recorded video art is just not the "magic" I expected. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it as a parent bringing their kids, but alas, I'm not. I do recommend the show for families, but not adults looking to throw a few back and be amazed. ETA: Allie's response reminded me. I forgot to mention that I would have liked to see more of Belle.

Went to the show 6/11/2022. It was Awesome! Enjoyed it! First time seeing a magic show like this. Very kid friendly, the room is nice size that everyone can see the show close. Definitely a show to go get some laughters and ahs. 1hr is too short, but worth it.

This show was ton of fun. The illusions are amazing. The cast is great. Something for everyone. I have no clue how he does a number of tricks. I highly recommend this show.

This was my first magic show on the strip, and I had so much fun! We had VIP tickets, which gave us early access to pick our seats in the venue. The theater is very intimate, and we had seats right up front. For drinks, I ordered the Curtain Call, which was delicious. I loved the "dream" theme of the show, and the personalities of Xavier and Belle. Both were extremely talented. I wish I could have seen a little more of Belle. Her personality was contagious! I was chosen as a volunteer for the lottery ticket, which left me stunned. Throughout the night, I was amazed at many of the illusions, which kept me asking "What!? How!?" The show is definitely very family friendly, and I recommend going!

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop wondering how he was doing any of it. Mat Franco is probably best known for winning Season 9 of America's Got Talent and now performs his residency, Magic Reinvented Nightly, at The LINQ in Las Vegas. I don't want to say too much because part of the fun is experiencing it for yourself. What I loved most was how much he interacted with the audience. It didn't feel like he was just performing at the crowd. He involved people throughout the show and made the entire room feel part of the experience. Every time I thought I had something figured out, another trick would happen and completely change my mind. Seeing magic on TV is one thing, but seeing it happen right in front of you is mind-blowing. If you've ever been curious about magic or wanted to see a Vegas show that's different from the typical concerts and productions, I would definitely recommend this one. I left amazed and still thinking about some of the tricks afterward.

Many reviews of the bigger shows said the performers had been doing it for so long that they looked like they were just going through the motions.. that the acts were unimpressive.. that the theater was so big you could only see the tricks on a screen, or that it was overpriced. After all my research, I'm SO glad I decided on Frederic -- the bride said this magic show was her favorite part of the trip!! (and we went to Tao dayclub the day before lol) :) I love that it was in a small, intimate theater, so that you were up close no matter where you sat. And there was SO much audience interaction -- our bride even caught a frisbee and got to go on stage -- which was fun and helped make it even more special for her. The mentalism was such a cool departure from traditional physical magic tricks -- we all loved it and had many *gasp* moments. We even got to meet Frederic after, and he performed more mentalism up close, which was cool. HIGHLY recommend this show!! (Also, it was $30/ticket, which is a price you cannot beat in Vegas)

I wasn't sure what to make of Shin Lim's way of speaking but his delivery was perfect for his sense of humor. Shin navigates each situation with self-deprecating and effortless retorts without sounding rehearsed. One of my favorite comments was a quiet "that's why we're here" when a participant back turned to the audience after asking if what she was doing was for the trick. Before the show someone from the back comes out and picks certain people who will be called on during the show. For Stuart McLeod, a very funny guy but a definitely scripted performance with the audience members he picks on. A staff member came out and talked to two people sitting behind us and we listened very closely as they were told that they would be chosen, the question they are going to be asked and what their response should be. Stuart throws two frisbees out to the audience and it's supposed to be random however, two kids were picked. One boy caught the frisbee and Stuart asked him to give it to the girl behind him which he did. Then Stuart asked her to pick a number between 25 and 100 and told her NOT to pick 67 but of course she did which went along with the number writing skit he did. Obviously it was not random but staged for the trick to work. Shin Lim, WOW!!! He had practiced long and hard to perfect his craft and he is amazing. Many tricks are easy to figure out as you can see how it comes to fruition. Tables are used through his act and most have a hidden area for him to grab things from underneath. Even though you can see his sleight of hand preparing to make the illusion happen, he is an amazing magician. Some tricks will leave you stunned and the audience members he picks I did not see them being prepped before the show so I believe they were unknown and saw the magic close up. Shin Lim is an amazing magician as I said and it's no wonder why he won AGT twice, FISM and is now in Vegas. He is a Vegas show worth going to and more than once, just a very cool experience. His wife is a part of the show, she does magic tricks as well which shows how talented she is as well as a trapeze ring act. She was really good and I only wish she would have been performed a little longer. Shin Lim had Mackenzie Sol who was in the top 24 of American Idol come out and sign some during his magic acts, Magic to Music. Mackenzie is a very good singer and it gelled well with the show. I would go see the show again as it was very entertaining. It started on time unlike most other Vegas shows and was an amazing 90 minute show worth seeing. I highly recommend this show. Yes you can figure out some of the magic being done if you watch closely, but the amount of prep and practice that Shin Lim has had to endure to perfect his craft, he is worth supporting. A very entertaining show! Go see Shin Lim and support him, he is one of the best shows I've seen recently.

I am confident that my wallet was left in the showroom area and would have likely been found during the post-show cleaning process. However, despite multiple attempts to contact the venue and follow up with lost and found, I was repeatedly told that no wallet had been turned in. This wallet had several hundred dollars. Losing a wallet is stressful enough, especially when it contains important items like a driver's license, bank cards, and cash. What was most frustrating was the lack of resolution and the feeling that there was little accountability for property left behind by guests. While I cannot say with certainty what happened to my wallet, the circumstances left me questioning how lost items are handled after a show. I expected a more thorough investigation and better communication throughout the process. I need cameras to be checked because it's not like I lost a wallet with $20 , whoop de doo. I think if any employee found a wallet with this much cash, who knows what they would do if found. Would they turn it in? Who knows. He does a Martian bit where he incorporate his story about his dad. There may be truth embedded in the story, but at the end of the day it's entertainment. We enjoyed the show. It was a little cheesy, had magic, a story line and laughs.

Every day another moron arrives in Las Vegas. You just have to find one who buys a ticket…read more To be fair, two of the tricks were genuinely good. The Cadillac and the UFO are big, solid illusions and not nearly as obvious as the classic "disappear on stage" routine. In this case, the magician vanishes, then slowly shuffles along the second-level seating wall like a 70-year-old man heading for a walker, climbs into a box, and magically "reappears." The problem is timing. The walk takes so long you could go to Excalibur, order a venti latte, and still be back before he pops out on the box. The hairpiece deserves its own mention. The color is so unnatural it's distracting. You spend half the time wondering who thought that shade was a good idea. The show itself feels lifeless. Add to that the constant surveillance by ushers and security making sure nobody even thinks about touching their phone, and the whole experience starts to feel less like a theater and more like Alcatraz back when it was still a prison. I always thought "Criss Angel at the Luxor" was the worst show I'd ever seen in Las Vegas. Turns out he now has real competition. At this point, you can choose between Copperfield, Criss Angel, or Frank Marino and waste your money in three different ways if you wish... (Marino made the money from the Make a Wish fundation disappear.. thats more magic then copperfield delivered) By the end, the only real question left is whether this is about money or ego. Sometimes it's better to stop while you're still on a high. Again, two of the tricks are big and impressive. Everything else is a tired collection of illusions I've seen dozens of times, wrapped in a cheesy alien storyline that goes nowhere. The theater itself is old and outdated, classic "Las Vegas seating." At least there's no pushy cocktail service knocking over your knees with overpriced drinks. Still, for a Sunday night, roughly 150 people in the house didn't help the mood at all. Save your money. Vegas has enough bad shows already.
