Summary: Ken was pretty good, but not the best. I bought a used car with cigarette smell - I know, this is difficult to get out. I'm not a bad detailer, but I wanted someone pro. Ken put in great effort, and he's a great guy, but I needed someone with more skill. He never cleaned underneath any of the plastic panels, which I normally do, since they hide so much dirt. He sprayed upholstery cleaners on top but never shampooed the carpets. When he left, all the smell was out. But one day parked in the sun, all the smell came back. I spent the next 3 hours shampooing the interior. When I pay someone $169, I want him to do a better job than I can. read more

Ken - Attacking my character and making slanderous remarks and flat out lying about what I did and didnt say to you or your workers doesn't make you a better person. Your short comings as a business owner or a person are not my fault nor my issue to resolve. And as far as me getting something for nothing well being a bully doesn't make you right either. Why would I leave a cash tip?!?! ** Let me start by saying this - if you are able to give the vendor a detailed list of all the areas you want cleaned/detailed in your car then absolutely hire this company. Also, if you are able to sit and watch them clean the aforementioned areas and not walk away or leave them unsupervised then yes absolutely hire them. However, if you are not able to do so then read the below. I attached a few pics and a video but didnt have time to photograph and to post all the areas that were left less than clean in my car. I was referred to this company by another vendor I've done business with for over 5 years so my expectations were pretty high to start. My intial message to the vendor after noticing problem areas. Message: Dear Ken/Xclusive Mobile Detailing: I am writing to resolve the issue of my car not being properly detailed on Friday July 12, 2019. I sent you a text message at 5:09PM on Friday after realizing there were a few areas missed. I did not get a response. I text again on Saturday July 13, 2019 at 1:52 pm to which I received an auto reply that indicated you were driving and would get back to me later - and I am still waiting to hear back from you - today is Monday July 15, 2019 at 1:38 PM. Friday night is when I also noticed my windshield interior was also dirty/greasy - which wasn't visible during the day time. I have video of this. In addition to the areas like the interior passenger door area above the seatbelt that was dirty and the cup holder area that was also not properly cleaned. I have photos of this. I am writing to request the detail be re-done or a complete refund of the $129 that was paid so that I may take my business elsewhere. Thank you for your time and consideration. The Vendor's response: Dionne, we walked the car with you and you were completely satisfied with the car. I am sorry that later you found one thing you were not happy with. We did our job and you said we were done and you were satisfied.  At this point I am not issuing a refund when the work was completed and you were happy at the time. I dont think you go back to restaurant asking for your money back after you ate and get sick.  Have a wonderful day!  My follow up reply: Hello Ken: It was a rushed walk through and it wasn't one thing Ken. I had to point out various areas. I trusted that your company did the job and detailed in detail which isnt the case. How am I supposed to know the windshield wasn't properly cleaned? Or that i have to check every single inch of the vehicle rather than expect that you did the task that you were hired to do. I also requested that the detail be redone or at least the areas that were neglected be fixed.  Not just refund my money.  As you mentioned you are big on customer service however that doesn't seem to be the case in this instance.  You had also indicated it may take up to 2.5 hours and when I returned to observe your working on the car you exclaimed you all were almost done it had been less than an hour. Let me know if and when you are able to return and address the problem areas. Thank you so much. **** After not hearing from the vendor I attempted to dispute the charge with the credit card company so at least I could take that money and pay someone to actually get the car clean the way it needed to be cleaned. I met Ken while he was detailing a neighbors car. My wife had just run over paint on the road, and he came by to give us some advice on how to remove it. I thought this was such a nice gesture, that a couple weeks later, we scheduled our cars to be washed. He just washed our cars again with the same great results. I had my truck detailed by 2 young white guys which seemed to be in a hurry. I paid 200$ for the worst detail ever. I had to keep pointing at the spots missed by these guys. It seems more like these guyz did a hand wax instead doing a multi step detail. There was no glossy shine. I had to take it to a car wash and have it redone. I found Xclusive Mobile Detail on Yelp because my nephew basically destroyed my Ford Escape's interior and needed a cleaning. I tried to call and schedule when I saw the website was $159 which was pretty affordable. When I spoke with Ken, he said that he was currently on the job and had to call back later. Couple days passed and called him back and finally was able to schedule for a detail which was last Monday. Monday came and Ken arrived very timely and immediately started. Ken noticed that I have a service dog and I introduced him along with my nephew. Ken continued working on my Escape, then I stopped by to check the status when Ken stated that it was a bit difficult to get rid of the dog hair on the seats. That's when I suggested to use the shop vac rubber bristle attachment that makes hair collection a lot easier. When Ken tried, he instantly said I love you(I knew what he meant by the suggestion I gave him, he's very grateful lol) so I let him keep the shop vac attachment. About an hour later, Ken called me saying the detail's complete. My Escape exterior looks spotless with the amazing wax work. The interior looks pretty clean as well even though there's still minor stains, but much cleaner than other detailers I've used when I lived in WA. Set me up a time and that day John and kolby showed up at exactly 9:30. The detail done to my car was so good it cleaned 4-5 year old seats and made the car look better than when I bought it 10 years ago. I 100% recommend them. They came to my own front door to clean my car for me for only 170$ which was a fair price for coming to my house and the detail and quality my car was left in. I simply cannot say enough good things about this company ! They just left my house, and I am truly in awe over what they were able to do with my car. The interior went from very dirty , dog hair, smelling, ( 3 dogs who got sick at different times ) to sparkling, fresh smelling, sanitary, by the time they were through working their magic ! From the onset, when I first called, based on reviews, and my conversation with Ken I knew I had found the right company ! The level of professionalism, courtesy, work ethic was unsurpassed. The price was so so fair . They are honest, and reliable. It was really hot outside.. I offered them water, they said they had brought their own . I went outside several times, and said "You guys still alive out there" ? I had to ask them to take a break! They worked so hard for at least 2 straight hours.They finally took a short break to my insistence. Ken called me on cell to come out and see my car. I could not be happier with what they did.
