    Simple menu

Fresh and on point this little find is affordable, delicious and quick. The menu is simple, if you don't like tacos get some therapy, it gets better. The owner took care of us and had us eating in no time. If you're beach bound or heading home to Orlando it is basically just outside the expensive bubble where everything starts getting $$$$ because you're near the surf and sand. This food truck is a find, don't just drive by, it is worth the stop.

Real street food taco! The smell from the grill is amazing! I have driven by this food truck for a lot of times and there are always someone waiting for their food. Today I got to try it, I should have come here sooner. Everything is so well seasoned. My favorite was the pork and my friend loved the steak azada. I don't know how authentic it is. Owner is from Guatemala they only speak Spanish, nice guys. It's got English on the menu so I got my order without problem.

Guatemalan street tacos with options of beef, pork, chicken, tongue, tripe, chorizo, or mixed. My husband and I bought 5 tacos for $18. I think the chorizo was the best. They don't come with rice and beans; you have to order that separately. Quick service, nice lady, but the generator is so loud it's difficult to hear her.

Menu, however it appears some things were left off.

Clean, nice ambiance, prices were very fair too. Please ignore my taco pic as I had to hurry and it was swinging! My personal favorite was the Chicharron taco and it was fried to perfection! It was crispy without losing flavor or juiciness. Just the right amount of spice too. The tinga taco also has as very tasty and the cheese was a bonus. The sangria was flavorful and refreshing; I personally prefer sangria Blanca but this was tasty and not heavy. Just a hint of cinnamon to liven it up. I will try a sit down meal with them and soon! I'm a mole connoisseur so I'll get back to you!

Jamaica and fresca were delicious and genuinely fresh, a must with this kind of food. Though we were not here for a full dinner, we were told the queso fundido was a must try and it was! They sat a charded jalapeno dead center and mixing it all together took it to the next level. The tacos were underwhelming though. I had steak, chicken tinga and chicharron, the chicken tinga blew them away flavor wise. I did like the attention to detail and bite size of the chicharron. The tortilla itself was offputting texture wise. You couldn't fold it without ripping. We are willing to try again, we will see in the future!

Walking into Taqueria is like…read morestepping into a vibrant Mexican street market, where the air is alive with the smoky scent of carne asada grilling over open flames and the warm, comforting aroma of freshly made tortillas. Each taco bursts with layers of flavor--the tender, marinated meats perfectly balanced by bright cilantro, sharp onions, and fiery, homemade salsas that dance on the tongue. That's it and all there should be except for a spritz of lime. The textures--from the crisp edges of slow-cooked carnitas to the juicy sweetness of al pastor--create a symphony of taste that feels both timeless and deeply rooted in tradition. Every bite tells a story of heritage, passion, and authenticity, making Taqueria a true celebration of Mexico's rich culinary soul. We'll be back soon.

I ordered 3 taco special, Pastor with rice and beans. Horchata to wash it all down. My drink arrived promptly and my meal came shortly after that. The tacos were good, not great but better than some in the area. The beans and rice lacked much in flavor but were not bad. The hotchata leaned a bit towards the sweet side. A good experience but since it is kinda far away from my usual stomping ground. I won't be back for some time.

Inside, we were immediately, warmly greeted and seated. Simple decor. The booths looked hand-carved as we have seen made in Mexico. Pleasant and artistic. Not overdone. We both got the Taco Special. $3 each. Chips & salsa arrived. The salsa was unusual. Made on site. The tomatoes and ingredients were smoked and grilled. Greenish in color, it was beyond delicious with a slight smoky flavor. Never had anything like it. Flavorful and not hot spicy. We also ordered Queso which was also delicious and just the right temperature and consistency. The soft corn tacos arrived. They seemed small although completely filled with pork, chicken, beef, cilantro, and veggies. Delicious. Great flavor. Every bite. The plates were beautiful and looked like they were handmade. Add a cold Mexican Larger in a mug and it was a perfect lunch. The service was excellent. Attentive but not intrusive. Polite. Mannered. We will be back to this local family owned restaurant for sure. I highly recommend this place. We are looking forward to trying "Happy Hour" with $3 margaritas served in beer mugs.

Mostly Hits *Magic Chicken was good - if you're a local, El Tucan served a slightly better/fresher version of this dish. Still very good and happy to know where to find it locally. *Birria Tacos were good. Less salty than some of the ones we've had on the island, but less flavorful than some too. Right down the middle. *Service makes both lists since we had 2 and they were polar opposites of one another for us on our last visit. Definite Misses *Salsa was meh. Asked for their spicy salsa next and it was also meh. Not horrible, just ok. Chips were firm and less salty than we like. *Margarita...was not a margarita. It was 90% sour mix and a maybe a splash of something. It wasn't on the menu. When asked, we got a weird non-committal response on it from the server and we pretty much got what we expected when a Mountain Dew looking drink arrived in a beer mug with a straw. Might've been a premixed margarita or one of those malt liquor ones (like the cheap Fireball ones). *Service was spotty. We'll probably go back at some point and try some friend recommendations when we do - fingers crossed. We weren't upset with anything we tried, but we weren't wowed either. Lots of local choices to consider....

The minute I knew I would be back in the area, I was determined to eat here again. The food was just as great as the first time. I had the spicy cuban sandwich and perfect. From a food standpoint alone, I'd absolutely come back. That said, the experience was a bit confusing and ended on a frustrating note. We weren't asked whether our order was for here or to go, and after ordering, our group of five sat down (we pulled together five chairs) and waited for our food. Despite that, everything came out in to-go packaging. When we walked in, we noticed other tables dining in had bottles with three different types of salsa available. However, we were only given a very small portion in a to-go container. I went up to grab a pineapple Jarrito and asked if we could use the salsa bottles since we were eating there. Instead, I was told no and that we had already been given to-go salsa--and they also tried to charge me extra for additional salsa. What made it more frustrating was that when I explained we were dining in, I was told that we had asked for our food to go, which wasn't the case. No one in our group was asked, and we had clearly sat down to eat inside. It felt unnecessarily rigid and dismissive, especially since we brought in a group of five and spent over $70. The food was genuinely great, but the lack of communication and flexibility on the service side made the experience feel awkward and disappointing. I'd still recommend the place for the food, but hopefully the service improves.
