It's a karaoke bar and open lounge on the first floor. They have the bar and plenty of seating area. The karaoke machine is first come first serve. It is mainly in Chinese so they won't have all the songs you want on the machine. The ground floor is a club with a dance floor and bottle service if wanted.

Came here on a Friday night around 9pm with a friend and it was surprisingly pretty empty at first. We ordered two drinks: the HK milk tea and one of their signature cocktails. Surpringly, the HK milk tea was okay for me but it's because I'm not a huge fan of super sweet drinks, and this one definitely leaned more dessert-like. I can see why people love it though if you enjoy sweeter drinks! By around 10pm it started getting pretty busy and karaoke started, which made the atmosphere a lot more fun and lively. It's probably not the best place to catch up with a friend you haven't seen in a while since it gets loud, but it's a great spot for a night out. Would definitely come back with a bigger group of friends!

I have been getting instagram reel about this place from my friends because of the Hong Kong Milk Tea drink. We finally got the chance to try it after work on a Thursday night. It was so worth it! We are all cocktail lovers so their menu is perfect for us. The place is located on Polk with lots of nearby food if you want to have dinner before drinking. Lots of street parking but weekend most likely will be packed. Love the indoor decoration / vibe with karaoke.

pretty nice ambiance (if you want a more chill place). I went on a Thursday night at 8pm so maybe that's why but it's also a pretty new place. there's lots of asian decor, a claw machine, and a downstairs area more for dancing and clubbing. the staff were very gen z and chill. I told them I came for the HK milk tea cocktail I saw on instagram and although it was not officially on the menu (and still testing), they made it for me and it was actually fire! they told us that they were rolling it out soon alongside other flavors like matcha, durian, etc. the cocktails are $10 for happy hour (before 10pm) but they didn't tell us beforehand that they upcharge some drinks. overall they are pretty good and not insanely strong! we got: - xex-cess ($10) - lychee martini ($10) - giddy geisha martini ($10) - hk milk tea cocktail ($13 because special) - japanese old fashion ($15 because premium) - midnight in paris ($10)

XeX is hands-down one of the most unique and fun clubs I've been to in the Bay. I really enjoyed the vibe, the music, and, most importantly, the instant ramen munchies station. The club's Asian-inspired decor gave off a fantastic, high-energy underground Hong Kong nightclub type vibe--sleek, neon, and totally immersive. The moment you walk in, the huge selection of drinks catches your eye the display of bottles on the shelves is absolutely beautiful. The dance floor downstairs is a high-energy paradise. It was hella packed and the live DJ kept the energy high, blending the perfect mix of hip hop and heavy-hitting EDM. It was lit! But the true genius move here is the drunk munchies station: a self-serve instant ramen bar with a full toppings bar for sale inside the club! After dancing for hours, custom-building a piping-hot bowl of instant ramen is so satisfying and fun! It's brilliant and hits the spot. Beyond the party, the amenities are shockingly great. The bathrooms were spotless and clean (3 toilet rooms and 2 sinks). And for a more intimate experience with the homies, a karaoke station right next to the bathroom entrance, complete with comfortable couches, loud speakers, and a big screen. Nothing beats ending the night with friends, great drinks, and a little late-night karaoke! Highly recommend XeX for an amazing night out with friends!

Hidden gem spot for karaoke in Polk St, their well is considered hungover free(PSA: Don't Drink & Drive). They have after selection to get the party started and keep it going. Stop by for a drink or stay for their party downstairs where it gets better. The service is great and they take care of you asap. Great ambiance and good service makes this place welcoming and I will be back.

I threw my birthday party at XeX and had the best time ever. We booked it as a private event and everything from start to finish was smooth. The space is super stylish and has a great energy--it felt like the perfect mix of upscale and fun. We did bottle service, and the staff took great care of us. Drinks came out fast, and they were super friendly and attentive the whole night. What made the night even more fun was the karaoke setup. They use a projector to show the actual music videos, not just the lyrics, which added a cool visual touch and made it more engaging for everyone. Highly recommend XeX if you're looking to host an event or just want a fun night out in SF.

Yamato whiskey. They should make a Samu-Rye blend.

I came in on the recommendation of a friend. The ambience is fantastic! Everything is shiny and new. This is a great nightclub, especially after we lost so many Polk Street bars after the pandemic. Julie the bartender was sweet and charming. The lychee martini she recommended was delicious! I'm definitely coming back!

It's a pretty new lounge place, but it is a nice place to chill and hang. I like the vibe and the fact you could sing upstairs and downstairs. Good for parties if you want to rent it out, and good for just to have a good time! The owner is nice as well!

Arrived at 5:30 and was surprised when I saw a small but decent amount of folks here. When I approached the bar and got my first drink, I understood why folks were there so early....the drinks were a buck! Such a steal and great way to get folks in. The concept of battle of the decades is great too! Each hour is a different decade of music, starting with the 60's. I spent a few hours dancing from 60's-80's music until about 8pm (perfect for an old millennial like me) until the place filled up. Totally great night at Monroe. Cheap drink specials, great music, and I was able to get in bed by 8:30pm. I'll definitely be back again.

Located on Broadway in North Beach, it's always high energy and popping, but I've never had any issues getting in. Also love that there's no cover charge for women, so I can just enjoy the night with my friends here without having to pay the equivalent price of a drink before I've even stepped inside. Even with the club frequently packed, especially the later in the night you go, I find the facilities pretty clean compared to many other similar lounges. It's also conveniently located near late night pizza and crêpe eateries that are still open after Monroe closes for the win, which makes it an all-around no brainer to choose going here versus other venues.

The building was a printing press back in the day, so it's a bit of a maze but that's part of the charm. I've discovered some amazing local businesses. I recently went to their February artisan food fairs, and bought some delicious food products. They had a variety of food vendors: hot sauces, honey, dips, cookies, teas, and more. As for the craft fairs, respect jewelry, candles, cutting boards, and even a few food vendors. That's where I discovered Apisol, a woman-owned company based in the Peninsula that makes delicious sparkling honey beverages. Don't miss the vintage store on the first floor, which has really unique vintage products like postcards, buttons, posters, and more. I never heard of this place until a fellow Yelper brought this up to me and I said SFBox? I never heard or been in this location before and I am sure most of you never heard of this place either unless you search for history of the William Randolph Hearst printing press building so many years ago. The building was built in 1926 as a printing plant for the San Francisco Examiner. It is a nice mixed use building like a nice cozy maze to explore the nice layout and architecture of the old print shop. So upstairs about 2 floors and vendors are scattered so it's like a hunt for them, almost like a needle in haystack. Lol Well it's not that hard as you won't miss anyone. Too floor that where you will satisfy your sweet tooth . Yummy. The vendors that were there were a nice mix from tea, cheese, spices, India coffee , Turkish spreads, ice cream, giant cookies, healthy drinks, spreads, and I am sure you will find something you will enjoy. I don't normally buy stuff, but the honey , red beet, 2004 sweet land Bingdao $95 brick tea that is aged 21 years that can make 175 tea servings for $95, Il Fiorello basalmic vinegar was thick and smooth great texture and syrupy taste very captivating and Taste of Levant tahini and their chocolate jar of molasses was excellent and I had to buy them. Yummy in my tummy! Not sure if same vendors will be there again, so catch them the at your farmers market, festivals or next Eats event!

Given how packed it was, I stood the entire time, even though I had gotten there probably 15 minutes before the show started. There was a huge line for the coffee when I arrived that didn't let up until halfway through the show. They are doing this again in September and I would recommend if you are in the area. The only thing that would have made it better would have been less people given the amount of chatter and distraction of people walking by. I'm curious as to what this venue looks like in other set ups and at different times of the day because it is beautiful, what a nice spot in San Francisco.

A Lifesaver for Our Wedding -- Exceptional Service and Stunning Space!…read more If I could give Carlos and Marigold more than five stars, I would. We were scheduled to have a small outdoor wedding ceremony at Mission Dolores Park, but when the San Francisco weather forecast turned "rough" just days before our April 1st date, we were in a total panic. I reached out to Carlos at the last minute, and the level of service we received was nothing short of extraordinary. Here is why you should book your next event here: Incredible Responsiveness: Carlos responded to my inquiry almost immediately and hopped on a call with me the same day to iron out the details. He made a high-stress situation feel completely manageable. Accommodating & Flexible: Even with our last-minute request, he was so generous with the timing. He allowed us to come in early at 2:00 PM to set up flowers and told us there was "no rush" to leave, letting our group stay and enjoy a drink before our dinner reservation. The Space is Stunning: We held our ceremony upstairs in a beautiful, dry, and welcoming space featuring a gorgeous mural. It was the perfect backdrop for our 10-person group--intimate, stylish, and full of character. Personal Touch: Carlos even provided his personal cell number for day-of coordination to ensure everything went smoothly. That level of care is rare.
