I came in to return some equipment as we had issues with the slow internet speed so though we no longer are xfinity customers I have to say the customer service received by Elvin at your Coconut Creek location was impressive. And not just with me. I noticed his genuine interest with the elderly gentleman before me. He even asked how he and his family was doing during these hard times. I am tired of getting a computer person to ask what my problem is whenever I call Xfinity. The computer person never understand what the problem is?? I ask for a customer service rep. and the computer ignores me and keeping asking my problem even after stating the problem. Why can I not get a real person to help me. Last night, my power went off and on so now my wireless printer will not connect with my computer. I get the message that my computer is offline even though it's not checked "using offline printer". I tried unplugging my printer and then restarting it. However, it continues to read offline. My computer need a 4-8 digit off the router to connect the computer to the printer. The only problem, there is no 4-8 digit number on the router. I can print from my cell phone but can't print from my computer?????I I know these big companies think it good to have a computer person but there are times when you need a real person! Even I have a two-year contract with Xfinity my monthly charges increased by $14.00, from 135.34 to 149.34. when I called customer service and mentioned the increase, their answer was, we increased every customer's monthly charges. This means Xfinity does not respect the two-year contract, and when the customer cancels it they will charge cancelation fees. I am not sure if the consumer protection attorney general is aware of this. read more

I wish 0 stars was an option. I called and needed some assistance with service the person helping me was obviously not understanding what I needed. He kept. saying "oh yes!!!" "oh yes we can definitely do that miss!" well they definitely did not and in the end ended up canceling a service I had with them at a locked in rate. Furious. The phone service is really BAD no more human

if I could give Zero stars I would. my service has been interrupted 2 days in a row. clearly it was a scheduled outage and no heads up was given. I am paying over a hundred dollars for internet only. I work from home and it is a big inconvenience. Then you call their "customer service " numbee to only get an automated service for them to push you off to their automated chat feature and then hang up on you. I would give Xfinity a negative number if it were available. The company constantly and consistently attempts to "scam" customers into plans by stating "your plan is no longer available". They repeatedly attempt to scam customers by adding charges to their account. It takes hours 3-9 hours to call through the foreign agents to get one that speaks ENGLISH and can solve a problem. They will laugh as they have you repeating your acct. number - as they think this is funny to not understand - people just give up and hang up. (that is their goal - do nothing) I would never get hooked up with these crooks again! read more

Submitted request for service transfer when moving my mother. Service transfer was set for October 4th. I was not able to take off work for this but I spoke with the service technician Robert on the phone while he was there. He informed me that the cables there needed to be reran but he would need the owners permission first, that I could place another ticket to have new cables ran when I got approval. I asked him if it was working and he said yes but I would experience drop outs in connection. I work dayshift at the hospital Monday-Friday and had not been able to get in touch with the landlord right away and we were not having any trouble with the cable or the WiFi so I didn't think a lot about it until we lost all services on October 10th. I went into Comcast and was informed that the transfer never happened that it was placed on hold and after 6 days it and no new ticket my services was terminated. They told me to come back the next day while they figured out what happened and how to fix. I was told this a few days, because they weren't able to talk with tech, and because my mother had internet essentials, and a grandfathered in economy package that no longer exists it made it difficult. On my 3 visit they told me I would have to reapply to internet essentials.... I spent an hour on the phone with them because they couldn't understand why Comcast ended my account and I shouldn't have to reapply because it was less than 30 days... the people on the phone did get my internet going that day. The next day I stopped in at Comcast to check on the cable part and was told that the manager just left and I would be better off just letting him contact me instead of coming in every day. I waited almost 2 weeks and didn't here anything. I went back into the store and Logan met me at the door and I told him I was looking for the two girls who had been helping me, he said they weren't there but he would try to help.... when I explained the situation to him. He stated "well that's seems odd" he pull up her account and said " oh that's the problem she has internet essentials we have a police that they can't have that and get cable too" I told him that she has had cable for years and signed up for internet essentials right there in that b and she has had both all year! He looked at me and said we'll I don't know what to tell you she can't have both. Now she had both services since at least April, neither of the other girls mentioned that and neither did the manager. The issue they were supposed to be working on and getting back to me about was how to get her economy package back that she was screwed out of... although nobody was bothering to get back to me either! If you ask me Comcast screwed me out of the package so they can get me to spend more money on another package. Well finally got rid of Xfinity my husband just disconnected our phone internet and cable TV we had enough I have been struggling for 4 months with their customer service the last straw was the second scam within the company first was I made my payment on March 1st which was paid on another persons checking account the second time was this week I went to balance my checking account and there were 10 transactions of bills paid almost totaling 3000.00 deducted from my checking account to pay 10 separate bills I finally got in touch with a agent and talked to someone in the fraud dept they didn't help me at all told me even if they see the 10 transactions they couldn't find their customers who withdrew the payments from my checking account they said I had to take it up with the bank how did these other customers get the money deducted out of my account without putting a email and password like I have to? My bank was informed in their fraud and spam dept to research all transactions and I also have the local police involved and they in turn are getting the Federal Government involved now doing a investigation on Xfinity I had a lot of money deducted from my checking account and hopefully my bank and the authorities will resolve this mess! read more

Annoying experience with Xfinity Live Chat Agent Garry on July 7. Garry said I'd been charged $10 per month for a landline, but I never had a landline. He even gave me the phone number for this landline that I'd never heard of. I asked whether that $10 over-charge could be used to cover a technician installing the modem enabling my new monthly plan. He ignored me. He said he'd give me this tremendous bargain of a second mobile phone. I said maybe my brother in a nursing home can use it. I asked again about help installing the new modem. He said he'd transfer me to "our dedicated team." I had to go to an appointment and closing the deal was taking a long time. I said it's 7:00am, and I must get ready to leave. Garry kept talking and asking me for information, such as SSN, DOB. I said it's 7:30. He said he just needed me to confirm my approval of the new plan, and then he'd transfer me to the dedicated team. The very second that I confirmed, Garry cut me off completely. I could not get him back. He had been leading me to think a dedicated team would help me just so he could get my confirmation, at which time he no longer needed me and he cut me off. Garry could have at least thanked me for staying on the line to the point of being late for my appointment. I was becoming so frazzled I thought momentarily about cutting him off and leaving, but I didn't want to be that rude. read more

So we had a contract with Xfinity and after renewing it we were supposed to get faster internet service. Well...that didn't happen. I have been trying to complete a class online and after testing the upload capabilities it said it was at 20% which was way below what we were to be receiving. Tried to call them no luck. Had to text in the chat. I told them we have had subpar service for at least 2 months. Their original offer was to take $10.00 off the next bill. To which I said totally unacceptable. I will reach out to corporate for a better offer. Then they changed it to $30 off after I told them that I was not going to accept that meager offer. So after that conversation they reduced the bill a total of $30. Why does it take me to threaten to contact corporate to get a decent credit. That is not good customer service. Do the right thing initially instead of trying to give us a drop in the bucket. Just smh. read more

Trying to work with XFinity's customer service has been one of the more frustrating things I can remember when it comes to customer service. We moved and called to change our address, and they couldn't seem to get the correct address in the system even though we called to change it 7 times. So by the time I needed a new phone and ordered it, we called again to change the address and ENSURE the phone would be sent to our new address. The representative assured us it would go to our current address. We got the confirmation email about the phone being shipped - to the old address. We called again, and they said to call back the next day and have the package rerouted by Fedex. So we called the next day and they said "Fedex cannot reroute the package". So we cancelled the order, and started a NEW order and INSISTED they send it to the RIGHT address. Got another confirmation email. Guess what? They had our new address, BUT only about 75% of it was correct. So I am currently on the phone AGAIN (on hold of course) with customer service. We are seriously considering switching providers after all this headache. I would never, ever recommend Xfinity to anyone after this. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Just as another customer stated, Xfinity customer service is only for new customers or upgrades. I called to move my service to new location. When agent found out I couldn't get xfinity at new location, she lied and told me she would discontinue the service at my old address. She did not. I got charged for another month. I called and was told service was not disconnected and the agent agreed to take care of it. I requested a credit refund since I had called and it was not done. I was told a supervisor would call me back to take care of that. No supervisor called me back. Now that my service has been disconnected, it is literally impossible to speak to anyone because my account no longer exists. I would get better results trying to call Santa at the North Pole. I'm not crazy about the cable service provided where I am, but the customer service exceeds Xfinity by a long shot. Thank goodness for Roku! read more

I tried to upgrade my internet service and ordered the self install kit. Xfinity sent the wrong modem. Several hours on the phone later (on 8 separate calls) I still do not have the correct modem three weeks later. Each of those 8 calls I was told I would be sent the right modem. I also made an appointment to go in the store location on my one day off only to find a note on the door saying they closed that day. Ironically I got automated reminder texts of my appointment. None of the customer service reps/supervisors really listen to the customer. My issue is so simple it should have been resolved with one simple phone call. Send out the right modem. I can understand the initial mistake of sending the wrong modem. But to not be able to resolve that simple issue in three weeks of time, eight phone calls, and a wasted trip to a store is unacceptable. On the 8th call I asked for a credit to my next months bill for all the trouble. Denied. read more
