We had a phone stolen in transit. It's okay. That does happen. I understand. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We finally get it properly submitted in their system that our phone was stolen( their system is a huge part of the problem- the platform is terrible), but then we were told we had to submit a police report and return it to them within 3 days.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't expect them to make me jump through hoops as I have never even disputed a cent on my bill but that's okay, I called and had an officer come by and filed the police report. He said it would be three to five business days for the report to be available. Although I could possibly get it a day sooner if I go to the police station and ask for it in person. I do obtain it on the third day And while I'm at the police station, I receive an email saying that my case has been closed because I have not sent in supporting documentation. So I start the process all over again and upload all the photos of the package being ripped open and clear evidence of tampering. Keep in mind their policy for refunds and returns deceptively states that you have 14 days from the day you placed your order, NOT 14 days after the package was delivered. If the package takes 5 or 7 days to get to you, that is part of your review period to determine if you like the product. So with my wife's phone being stolen and the refund not progressing, I wanted to return my phone I had purchased. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was fed up after jumping through hoops (they also requested I file with the FCC and wanted a copy of the complaint filed, but as this was during a government shutdown I called the number they provided right in front of them which had an automated message saying they were closed due to lapse of appropriations/funding).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's not just this location. The other one on Roswell was terrible, worse than this one. I had to continue dealing with an issue while I was out of town so I visited the store in Chattanooga, they couldn't do anything either. I always hear how awful Comcasts customer service is, but I had no issues. I came into the store because online my address was listed twice. I walked in, a man asked my name and what I needed and then signed me in to a computer. I sat and waited a few minutes and then he took me to a desk to help me I told him I wanted to setup a service and that I didn't mind internet + cable or just internet but I wanted to keep it under $50. They have no discounts or promotions, just "intro" offers so that's annoying, but whatever, I expected that. Every 12 months you have to call or show up to renegotiate your rate. I got a value above $50 with HBO & 60 mbps but with autopay, it hits under $50. The in store rate and online ones were equivalent. I also only had a choice of comcast or at&t, so my options are limited. They're kinda expensive so that's unfortunate but they were nice. They give one free receiver for cable and you can rent a modem or buy your own. He also gave me an extension cable to use, so that was nice. The whole trip took maybe 30 minutes, so I still have time for lunch! read more

As many already know and have noted, Comcast is The Actual Worst. Don't waste your time using the chat feature on their website, or call them on the phone. Your best bet, if you actually want to have service, is to go into a store. Only there can they solve your problems! After receiving wrong information multiple times, being hung up on, having my service disconnected, etc. the only way I was able to resolve my issue was visiting this store. Both customer service representatives I saw over the last month were knowledgeable and helpful. By the time I got to the second one, I was so frustrated and upset at how many times I'd been lied to, and she was so kind. She gave me her card with her cell phone (which she actually does answer) for any questions or concerns once I returned home. There never seems to be a wait here based on the three total times I visited, but you can make an appointment online if you prefer. Comcast isn't the cheapest, but I am really happy with their internet and cable service. So Comcast moved from its Chamblee location to this shiny one in Buckhead, across the street from Phipps Plaza, where indeed the interior is quite spiffy. Whereas the former location had an average 1-star rating with a total of 57 reviews (no joke), I am starting off with an A-OK rating for the new place. You still will wait a long time but since there is someone at the door who sifts through those coming in and gives each person a number, you don't have to stand in line as you did at the branch on Malone Dr. in Chamblee. There are some comfy seats with tablets that you can entertain yourself with. Now don't get ahead of yourself. The tablets are locked to Comcast apps and content, so don't think you can play games or watch YouTube videos. But still, the setup is still an immense upgrade from waiting in line forever. The guy who eventually helped me was funny and bashed the competitor. While I waited for almost an hour, once I got to his station, he took care of me pretty quickly. Anyway, no one comes to a Comcast customer service center for leisure or out of a strong desire. You come here because you have to. Just be thankful that you can park your butt while you wait. read more

Ok, so I ended up with two cable boxes. I had picked one up and they shipped me the second one. So i notice an item on my bill called "Inactive Dct Lease $2.50" After loads of calls, I get a guy at a call center who informs me that Dct Lease means the 2nd box (which I had simply left in the box and put in the garage). Not exactly intuitive. This young man advises that I go by the Xfinity store. And I did. There was a line with people waiting with numbers like in a bakery and a young woman directing people to take the tix. "Here," I said. "This is for you." She backs away from the box like it contained ebola. Her. "You have to wait in the line to give this to a service rep." Me. "How long is the wait?" Her: "30 minutes." Me: "Please take this box. This is the closest distance Xfinity store to my apartment. Therefore, I am going to assume it was this location who I have a problem with. I observed an Xfinity technician come to my apartment complex's building. He walked straight to the cable/internet box outside. Within a few minutes, my cable and internet was disconnected with a number of my neighbors as well. The technician did not ensure other providers were still set up okay, quite the opposite. The technician also left the cable/internet box's cover off.... exposing all the wires. I had to personally get with my leasing office and my cable/internet provider (who is not Xfinity). We were able to get my internet back up and running. Unfortunately, the Xfinity technician came back and just decided to cut my cable completely within a few hours. Their technicians are beyond unprofessional - do they even know how to do their job? There clearly is no respect for other cable/internet providers. My personal provider is aware and their upper level management even has gotten involved due to so many repeated offenses. I would avoid this service like the plague. read more

My cable still does not work after 6 troubleshooting requests, 9 phone calls and over 9 and a half hours of calling throughout the course of the last few weeks. They have confirmed two appointments with me and did not show up for one of them ! when I called no "supervisor" would help me resolve the issue of course. After a year of dealing with this I am finally ending my contract. You are better off going to ATT UVERSE where you can actually get customer service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE.
