Went there to turn in our equipment and get a receipt. The girl at the counter put us on the LIST. She then stood there waiting for others to arrive when she could have scanned our stuff and given us a receipt. At least at This visit - with a sales person who we had an appointment with (her name was Eva - or something similar - no name tag) the service is extremely poor. Not sure if it is just a sign of the times - but with 5 people in the store (some of whom were sitting down doing Nothing / leaning with their chins on their hands - elbows on the counter) one person being helped.... Not sure the lack of concern for customers can really be blamed on shortage of help. Regardless of excuses some are offering, people need to be trained on common courtesy. Even if you can Not provide as much variety of merchandise when shortages exist - Xfinity is providing a SERVICE. Because of this - giving Rude service is inexcusable. While SELLING us stuff she was totally happy and helpful. But when asking about alternatives that they don't want to provide to customers? The attitude was Take it or Leave it - and she didn't care if she did it abruptly or rudely. THAT is unnecessary and Not a good business practice. read more

I moved into a new home August of 2020, my first appointment to get service installed was 08/12/2020. When the tech arrived he was here for 5 minutes and told me I needed a "drop burry" due to the house having no connection. Not knowing what that meant I asked how long it would take, he said he would order the service and should be completed in a couple weeks. 3 weeks later I tried reaching out due to not hearing from anyone in that time period, it was nearly impossible to reach anyone from their customer service since I did not have a member number because the install was not complete. I had to use the chat service which was horrible. I finally got ahold of someone and they had no idea what was going on they thought the job has been completed. I explained what the tech told me and they said they will look into it. so going on over a month without hearing anything I reached out again and they advised that the service was ordered but they could not give me a date just said that a tech would be out to survey it. TWO months and still didn't hearing anything I called customer service again. the rep told me that there was no new notes on the order and that no services had been ordered. He set an appointment for a tech to come out. A few weeks later the tech arrived and told me he could do anything because I need a drop burry, I explained to him that I already knew that and that the service rep was told that. The tech said he was not told anything. The Tech did give me his cell and his direct supervisors cell number. Bill was the supervisor in the area and I was able to contact him directly. I explained the situation to bill and he stated that he will send someone out to see what the issue was. Bill was hard to get a hold of sometimes and when I did get in touch with him he seemed like he was annoyed with me when it was his company that was dropping the ball at every step of the process. month 3 of no service and Bill stated that they used a machine and it turns out that the underground conduit that the lines runs in to the main box across the street is damaged and the cable is not able to run from the box to my house. Bill states that he does not know where the damage is but states he will bring a different machine out that is more powerful to see if that can clear the line this takes almost another month to get done and it is unsuccessful. so I asked what is the next step Bill states that he will reach out to the construction dept and the road may possibly have to be cut so a new line can be added. a couple weeks later I call bill he states that the construction company put in permits to the city and we are just waiting for the city to approve the plans then they will get the go ahead. So a couple week or so goes by an I do not hear anything so I call bill and he tells me to be patient even though I have been extremely patient for this whole process that just seemed ridiculous. I call my city and ask if any permits are pending for my address and they state that they have not gotten any applications for my location. I call bill and advise him of this and he states he will check with the company. Turned out the company never put in paperwork and they just forgot about my house. Bill said he would handle it. after some time bill gives me a date of November 16th for the street to be cut. November 16th comes and goes and I see no service trucks and no evidence of a street cut. so I call a week later and bill states he doesn't know why they havent shown up but will will figure it out and get back to me. Bill never calls me so I check in a couple weeks later and he tells me the reason they never showed up was because the finance dept did not approve the order. At no point during this whole process was I told that I would be responsible for any charges. Bill tells me that the finance dept would only cover half of the charges which was $7,000 dollars and he advised me that if I want service I would be responsible for the other $7,000. Bill said that is the best that can do for the price and told me to reach out to him if I want to proceed.I called my home warranty (new home) and they pointed fingers else where but a claim was made. About a week later I received a call from the Comcast construction unit and they tell me they will be out to look at the issue. Anthony (different supervisor) was very respectable they tried the same things Bills crew did with no luck. Anthony reached out to me and advised that they will begin the drop burry later that week and they were able to get the job complete in 1 days work. In the end they did not end up cutting the road because the issue was a few feet down, so they wanted to charge 7k for nothing. I then needed to reschedule for service installment, and the supervisor was rude and did not care about all of the issues they put me through. 5 months of BS for them to finally provide service. if I could give this less than one star I would. read more

After visiting the store last week simply to return some equipment I had refused an upgrade for my internet. Jonathan kept asking me " when your watching tv does it ever stall and say loading? I kept telling him No and he seemed so surprised that I wasn't having any problems. After I left I thought to myself watch when I go home it's gonna start giving me problems. Sure enough ever since that day my internet has had problems. When Iam streaming Netflix its constantly freezing now. I have to wunder, are people just writing reviews when they're upset so they get nothing but bad reviews than good. But I had the best customer service especially from Brant. He was very helpful extremely knowledgeable about their products,& super personable. No stars if possible. I agreed to return a relatives comcast supplies. She was fed up after a month of NO Service. Phone support/tech appts where unable to solve the problem. (Comcast's offered where she relocated. neighbors receive service without issue). While at Comcast, the customer service is Still rude. When I was finally called I explained the connection issues. They seem to be unable to understand "No thanks" and "service doesn't work". Well it was the best thing to happen to her. She now has satellite, with a I similar package. (Though more channels). The first time I went in a couple weeks ago, I just wanted to get some questions answered about potentially getting xfinity, and the guy who helped me answered almost none of my questions and just tried to sell me one very specific package, not even telling me what else was available. I got so frustrated that I left with nothing accomplished. I came back today and had a much better experience. There was a short wait to be helped but they seemed quite busy so I didn't mind. I was helped by a guy named Joseph who was patient with all my questions (this is my first time getting my own internet) and made sure I understood all my options. I was finally able to sign up for service and feel confident that I was getting what I needed. So I guess it all depends on who's there when you go in. read more

Cable has gone so far down hill that I can't see how anyone would use it. There plans and offers are so limited its not funny. The regular prices are out of this world and to get a tech out to fix anything is painstaking. I have cut all my services except Internet. But. I get another $400 bill because they don't know how to add 30 days in a month. I will find another Internet provider. 1 star them because the lady at the front counter was very nice and helpful. Where to start! We switched to Xfinity for phone and internet a few months ago and all was well, so to save a few bucks we switched the cable TV over too. We have had Xfinity as our cable TV provider for 29 days. I will admit that the picture quality is a bit better than we had with DirecTV, and they offer a couple of additional channels that we enjoy. That is where the kudos end. A couple of days after the install, my husband decided he wanted to upgrade the modem to a newer, faster one. He got the new one from the office on Pelandale, brought it home and called tech support for assistance in getting it to work. The call was answered in the Philippines by a man who had such a heavy accent he could barely understand him. The customer service rep cut my husband off, would not listen to anything he was trying to tell him, and was extremely rude. He transferred him to another rep in the Philippines, who tried but could not get the modem to work. From there, my husband was transferred to a call center in Virginia where he was kept on the line, once again required to perform task after task, and all to no avail. They could not make the faster modem work. So he told them he would plug the old modem back in, which he did, and then they could not get the old one to work either! By this time, my patient husband had been kept on the phone for a little over 4 straight hours! We had no phone, no internet and no tv the rest of the evening and overnight. We both went to the Pelandale Xfinity office the next morning and asked for the manager. A woman came to talk with us, never introduced herself, but claimed to be the manager. We returned the new modem to her, explained what had transpired, and asked that she get someone to our house to fix the problem that day. She seemed mildly disinterested, and said she probably couldn't get anyone out that soon. I told her that I was sure she could if she wanted to, and that we would be returning all of their equipment unless they restored all service in our home by 9:00 pm that day. All of a sudden, she was able to send us a repairman. He arrived a few hours later and had everything working within 10 minutes. A couple of mornings ago, I sat down with my morning coffee and as usual turned on the tv and tried to put it on Antenna TV channel 189 to watch on old 1950's sitcom. There was no channel 189. It was gone along with several others. I tried the voice command function on the remote to locate it and had no luck there either. My husband said he'd go to the office, because he also had to get them to correct the bill we received, charging us for the faster modem which we were never able to use and had returned. The clerk at the Pelandale office did correct the bill, and told him our box was bad and we'd have to return it and get a new one. Well, that didn't sound right to me, so I went with him when we returned the box, and asked how this would fix the problem. We got a very unclear answer and I told her that we were not going to be happy if we had to come back again. The new box went in, and low and behold...the same block of stations were still missing. My husband called tech support and was told that all of those missing stations had been reassigned to new channel numbers. We never would have found them because they were now in with foreign language programs. If tech support knows this, why don't they 1.) inform their customers; and 2.) inform their office staff. At least with DirecTV all changes were communicated to customers via a message board accessible on the tv screen. Time for a government agency to start regulating cable tv providers! They don't care about their customers, but if they faced audits and oversight from a regulatory agency who can impose fines, maybe they'd start to care! read more

My mom originally had an account at Valley Comfort as a patient. When She left the end of June, she returned the box, cancelled service and paid all charges up to date. She started getting bills with another customer's name in care of HER name. She's tried to call them and straighten it out, however continues to receive these bills. We're not sure why they're not understanding this issue and solving it , or if they're just plain trying to make my mom pay for another persons bill. Beware of this place. Their commercials are false advertisements. Called to set up cable, phone and internet. Was quoted $138.00 plus taxes for a month for 2 years plus 1 year of free HBO. The HBO is a joke it has about 3 selections of movies so outdated we have the videos. Had it installed today and received my bill on line for $334.00! All the hidden charges along with the $85.00 install from their "technician contractor". We switched over from Direct TV which we were paying $130.00 for basic ca ble and 80.00 to Comcast for internet. After seeing their commercials we fell for their lies. Don't make the same mistake we made. However "their technician did not have us sign any paperwork or committment so we may not be held to two years legally. Heed our warning and think twice before getting roped in by these liars! Going to seek attorney advice. read more

The service was very speedy. I went in around lunch time and received service immediately! The staff seemed very enthusiastic, and the customer service representative was helpful with questions I had. The only complaint was that the color I wanted wasn't available at the time. I have had comcast/xfinity internet for almost 2 years and I am surprised at how many people say the speed is slow. Mine is awesome, I pay for 250 mbps, and every time I have tested it, it has been that or more. Just to be sure I ran a speed test now and it was 312.23 mbps down, with 11.29 mbps up. The staff was helpful when I called in. I completely a survey and received a call the very next day. We also almost never have our internet go down or have issues with their equipment. In almost 2 years we have not had one service call. My guess is that most people only write reviews when they are pissed off. Sadly I don't think happy customers bother to leave reviews. read more
