First off, he recognized me which is amazing consider how many people they deal with on a daily basis. He is friendly, polite and totally customer service oriented. How can ANY business not permit their patrons to use a restroom? Especially in a situation where your wait time averages 45-60minutes prior to being assisted. In the state of Illinois, it is against the law yet, this retail store forces it's clientele to beg the surrounding shops and restaurants to use theirs. (410 ILCS 39/) Restroom Access Act. A retail establishment that has a toilet facility for its employees shall allow a customer to use that facility during normal business hours if the toilet facility is reasonably safe and all of the following conditions are met: (1) The customer requesting the use of the employee toilet facility suffers from an eligible medical condition or utilizes an ostomy device. (2) Three or more employees of the retail establishment are working at the time the customer requests use of the employee toilet facility. This Lorenzo guy is the worse person I have ever dealt with. Never have I ever met someone very "policy" oriented. He was very eager to help us but once we neglected his offering to lousy additional services he became cold and quickly brushed us off. Squares like these don't belong in customer oriented locations. Next time if I tell you I only want 1 service please be attentive, I don't care for any other bundled products. And that is the reason I walked away and hired at&t instead. You are the face of the company but your integrity is low. AT&T representative was nice and assisted me with the 1 service I needed, instead of vomiting prices at me like the Lorenzo guy at Comcast. I needed an item. I knew exactly what I wanted. I asked the greeter, and yes, they had it. Well? Well, please have a seat, a salesperson will be with you in 25 minutes, which I know by now here, is always longer. So I know what I want, all you have to do is bring it to me, I'll pay and leave a happy customer. But no. Imagine the worst ISP but it is as consistent as Chicago weather. The WORST customer service and the WORST internet service provider. If I hook my Ethernet cord to a potato and call my local plumber, they would be more helpful than this poor excuse of a customer service. I don't know how they can get away with this in this modern age of technology. It is hilarious how bad Comcast is. You can't really do anything since they have a "monopoly" in the Lisle, Illinois area. I have had this rage for this company for nearly a decade but decided never to "Yelp" it since everyone knew how bad it is. But this was the last straw. I know that Dish and WOW internet may be bad as is but I've had enough. How awful can you be to be worse than WOW Internet? It's hilarious how much of a horrible customer service this company is. I haven't even gotten to my personal issue yet this review is long overdue. Like I've stated earlier, I've sat here for 10 years to witness this failure. They ALWAYS lose connection no matter what time it is. The bandwidth is a joke. The internet speed is as if dial up Internet is its competition. The customer service is as useful as a deceased frog. I can actually have a helpful conversation with said deceased frog than any representative of Comcast. And I know someone at marketing within Comcast is reading this. Yet they won't do any reprimands to this location at all. Just the typical, "oops we messed up again!", yet no one at this abysmal company cares. For the love of god, go to AT&T or just connect your router to a potato. Chances are you'll have better connection and costumer service with the lump of starch than this abomination of a company. Typically Comcast customer service is terrible. When I was dealing with people over the phone I couldn't have been more upset, but every experience I have had in the store has been great. Before spending hours on the phone I recommend taking the drive to the store and dealing with a real person. read more

I arrived mid afternoon with my 3 children (under 5) to pick up a cable box. The employee checked me in and gave us an estimate time of 27 minutes! 27 minutes to simply pick up the box! Mind you, this was on a Tuesday afternoon, which should be a slower time. I asked him if I could leave and come back. I left so my children could walk around. I walked back into the door within 15 minutes. Another employee approached me, asked me my name. "Oh, we already called you. I'll get you in next." I was then called to see an employee. This took all of 4 minutes to get the box and remote. I come home and realize I have missing pieces! Now, my husband has to go back a second time to get these items!! So frustrating! Once again, Comcast's customer service astounds me. There are more employees than there are customers - 7 employees vs. 4 customers - and yet, there is still a need for me to wait for assistance. I see all these negative reviews and I don't agree with them. I have been to this location twice. One for billing change and another for equipment issues. Sure, I had to wait a few minutes but it wasn't that bad. The two different associates who helped me were kind and polite. If you're in a hurry or you think your appointment will take awhile, be prepared to wait a little bit. read more

Updating my most recent review. Still am frustrated by the sign in process (front desk personnel who act offended by doing their job) and being put in a cattle pen in order to wait for an associate. That negative part of the experience can not be changed. However, the sales associate made the experience much more tolerable. He was very helpful and informative. Went in yesterday to upgrade to X1 expecting a battle on the cost. To my surprise, the store was very nice, the associates were friendly and my experience was great. Priscilla helped me tailor a new package and saved me a bunch of money. Unfortunately the activation experience today has been brutal - on the phone for two hours with 2 different people who were hard to understand and two of our boxes aren't working. Terrible company. Don't be misled by their advertising. They slip in Early Termination fees even when you pick a plan that has none. They charge you for extra boxes and services. Big corporation that has learned it can abuse people and still thrive. Sad and appalling. I had to return a defective internet router at this location, typical 30min wait - no biggie. Deonta(?) was very nice. The disgust arose when I had to call into Customer service as the POS device would not complete activation. Within the two times I had to call in (because the lame tech support hung up on me) I verified my address with each person I talked to as if there were cold transfers and these ppl had no idea who I was. Security measure, sure... But each time you have to state why your calling, confirm your address and SS- give me a break. The non English speaking "Georgia" was the rudest. Answered the call only to place me on hold because she was "finishing up with another customer" then wtf did she answer the call?! Refused to allow me to speak with a manager, stating she was an expert... Bih please! These ppl are the worst, no sense of customer service and I'm counting down the days to get rid of their arse! Defective equipment, defective employees... Ugh hate them. I'd rather have basic TV then to deal with them. read more

I think I heard the Twilight Zone music and Rod Serling talking when I walked in. A few weeks ago, I noticed I was being charged $10 a month on my cable bill. I went to the Comcast site and chatted with a customer service rep. He told me that the $10 charge was for a cable box. I said I don't use a box, and don't need a box. I don't flip channels, I just use the Xfinity app on Roku or on my computer or Amazon Fire. I couldn't even remember having a box since I sent them all back. Well he gave me a serial number to find a box. I found the box in my closet. I went to the Xfinity Store to return the box. When I got there, the customer service rep said the $10 was not for a cable box, but for multiple TV's. Hmmm, ok. Well I only have ONE TV. :) She made some changes and said I wouldn't be charged anymore. Well 15 minutes later I tried to log into the Xfinity app, and it says I don't have the service anymore. WTF!!! I called their tech support and said I should be able to access the streaming since well you're paying for it!! I told them I can't! It's been two weeks, almost 2 hours of communication including holding on the phone, chatting online and STILL NO STREAMING!! They did credit my account $10 for not getting what I PAID for! Lol!! I don't even know what to say. read more

I have been dealing with Comcast not sticking to a contract I have for a plan they gave me 2 weeks ago. They of course are overcharging me and will not give me the plan I signed a contract for 2 weeks ago. Today I went in and waited to speak with someone for 45 minutes. He figured out the best way for me to solve this problem is go to the 3rd party that sold me the plan. When I got home and tried to email to contact this person it did not work. When I tried to contact the store to let them know it is invalid I found the only way I can talk to the agent I work with was to go back and sit another 45 minutes. There supposedly is no number for this store according to Comcast. I don't know why I would expect Comcast to care about how they treat their customers. We are a dime a dozen to them. read more

Absolutely horrible. Picked up a new remote today and of course, it doesn't work. I specifically asked the customer service rep because it was different than the one I turned in. He insisted it was "universal". Hah - not. I refused to drive back and spent a frustrating 20 minutes on the phone. Still no remote. Dave Vasquez and Mark Salvador have got to be the absolute worst customer service people I have dealt with. Instead of trying to find a solution to your problem, they are sarcastic and condescending and act line you need them. If AT&T u else is available I will get them. I have been with Comcast for over 15yrs and pay over 250 a month for their service. To be treated the way I was is unacceptable. If it were not for the customers they would not have a job!!! I went it to see if there were any better rates for the X1 Triple Play service since my bill had gone up to a level I wasn't comfortable with paying. I walked in and began speaking with the greeter at the front of the store and within a few seconds a friendly sales representative (Kirk Williams) came up and said that he could help me. I walked over to his desk and sat down and explained my issue. He first asked me if I had the new X1 voice remote and I said that I did not so he provided me with one free of charge. We reviewed my cable package and I said I liked the service and channel lineup but wasn't happy with the rate. Within a few minutes he was able to get me locked into a rate for 2 years that kept my channel lineup the same but reduced the price by over 25%! I was in and out of the store in under 10 minutes and will save about $1500. I would highly recommend going into the store to deal with a representative face to face in person instead of calling the 800 number for any issue. read more

i wanted to upgrade my Xfinity LG phone to a new Samsung. The Oakbrook store treated me well but my Sales person Aleks needs more training. All i wanted was to transfer my old Xfinity cell number to my new Samsung S8, simple right. 12 hours later i find out my new Samsung phone was given a new number and I'm now being charged for 2 "Unlimited" phone lines. 2 hours online and on the phone with Xfinity and the problems still not resolved. Awful. Like getting teeth pulled without anesthetic, or walking on lava, or pouring alcohol on bad sunburn. Stuff like that is what I'm reminded of when I think of them. My address was wrong for 1.5 years even after numerous attempts to change it. Kept getting told it was impossible for them to fix it. Twice, they set up service appointments and didn't know what AM or PM was. I'm not kidding here, and I kid a lot. I went in on a Sunday (Sunday hours are probably the only good thing they do) once to have them try to fix the address, and I warned the rep that I would rather just leave it if there was any chance of us losing service, but she assured me that it would be fine. After I left, which was 10 minutes to them closing, my wife called me and asked if I had visited Comcast because the service was out. To her credit, the rep tried to help me for a little bit, until she said she had to go. Then, no service until Monday morning. Without question, the worst company I have ever dealt with. read more

Comcast had been relentless in sending me junk promotional mails and I have called several times to have these mailing stop. I'm already a paying customer and they are stupid enough to bombard existing customers with spams in the mail every week. They are completely useless and nobody knows how to do anything right at this company. I went into this location after my phone call did not stop these junk mails and David V acted like he did not want to work there. The tone was terrible and told me he does not know why I kept getting these junk mails from them and couldn't have been fast enough to dismiss a paying customer. They charge an arm and a leg for inconsistent cable and internet service. The customer service over the phone is like talking to a wall. They are not helpful and do not have any ability to take care of the problem without transferring you and waiting on hold forever. They will send out people to your house but no two service installers ever have the same story and they always end up rewiring whatever the last service installer did saying it was installed wrong the time before. When my contract is up Im gladly switching to Netflix!!!! read more

The store is really nice (very sleek and state-of-the-art) and the staff I encountered were all very friendly and helpful. I was bringing in an HD cable box that had stopped working on all channels. I was in and out within 10 minutes (on a Monday around 5pm). I appreciate that they're open until 7pm M-Sat and even have hours on Sundays. I'm only giving 4 stars because the location is kind of an odd choice. There are lots of restaurants in this shopping center, so during peak dining times, there is limited parking. You definitely can't see the location from Butterfield Rd and I can see where it would be very easy to drive right past it. It's certainly a more upscale location and a million times better than the store on Harrison in Maywood that has closed, but still, kind of challenging to find. read more

For some reason there internet buffers or drops out for just a few seconds and than your refreshing your page. Way overprice services. Also after giving them my email, which it's been 6 months since I handed it out last. My mail box has been flooded with spam. I do use, Comcast Internet right now only the moment I get a replacement company in my area good bye comcast. read more
