He was very polite and pleasant. They are following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19 by implementing social distancing, requiring masks, as well as having plexi-glass In between each station. Came into this Xfinity location to exchange a broken tv remote and drop off two new phones to return. Nicolas was at the welcome desk and greeted us right away. He was professional, friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. He replaced the remote right away hassle free. He told us we couldn't return the phones there but he can print the labels for us to drop off at FedEx, which was in the same plaza. He guided us on how to forward him the labels via email and helped troubleshoot why the label links were showing errors. He even offered to pack the returns for us, found us boxes and shipping materials, and showed us how to drop off the returns at FedEx. He was so patient with us, we really appreciated his VIP service. He is definitely a valuable employee and human being! read more

I don't recommend this Xfinity location in Plantation, FL. Both of the store managers were not truthful about turning over a phone from another service provider in exchange for an Xfinity phone. Ultimately, the Xfinity phone cost me in excess of $800. If you want to use Xfinity, go to the store in Coconut Creek, FL on Lyons. I've been using the Coconut Creek store without any problems since the extremely horrible experience in Plantation. The Plantation store managers dishonesty is a story I'll continue to share with friends and family. read more

I've visited this Xfinity store a few times. This store is located in a busy plaza but I've always been able to find a spot. The store is bright, open and airy. The seats could be more comfortable. The greeter takes your name and reason for your visit as soon as you walk in. The next available agent will call your name to assist you. I never waited more then 5-10 minutes to see a rep. My husband and I popped in to exchange a broken cable box. We only waited about 5 minutes then we were called to the desk took about 3 minutes and out the door we went with our replacement cab eke box. The place was clean and they were periodically sanitizing. All employees had on masks and gloves. Also they wipe down area where you go to register between every client. The junction box - if that's what it's called - fell off the apartment building I live in by a vehicle and I have been without internet service since Monday 03/18 & today is 03/21. For four days now I have no internet. WTF! I have called Xfinity every day to get no answers and my appointment that was confirmed for today between 1 PM - 3 PM is delayed until 4:19 PM as of 5 minutes ago on the phone w/ another Xfinity agent. I wish I could give them (-5 stars) because they are crap! My entire life depends on the internet service here (work, tv, lights, etc) and the fact that this isn't a priority to Xfinity is outrageous. Unfortunately, we lived and had a business in California and our Verizon FIOS was bought out by Xfinity. As soon as Xfinity took control of customer service and accounts, we started experiencing service problems and eventually cancelled the service. Fast forward to 2022 and 2023. When we took over our business lease, Comcast/Xfinity was under contract. After discussing with customer service in August 2021, we were told no contracts were available that would offer a better rate or better speed at that time. We were told to call back later. Since August of 2021, we've dealt with regular service issues (internet cutting out and having to reset equipment on almost daily basis). None the wiser, our business continues to suffer service issues while Comcast is happily continues to charge $150+ month-to-month fee for their 35 Mps speed because we went out of contract. Meanwhile, the only way to get better service or speed, is to sign a new service agreement to legally lock us in. Let's not forget to mention the horrendous automated customer service help line, which is nearly impossible to reach the correct person or the difficulty and circular logic of the Comcast Business app help feature. The internet service and speed is horrible, the fees are horrible and the customer service is mostly not great! If I could offer a ZERO feedback, i would most certainly since this is my second time in a second state dealing with the perpetrating corporate non-sense. The ONLY Option, without finding another service provider, is to sign up for a month-to-month or a 1-, 2- or 3- year service contract. Sad! read more

Why the OCC hasn't looked into this company for CONSUMER FRAUD, blows my mind. From experience: 1. Customer service frustrating. No one is located in the U.S., and their English is so hard to understand. Circular scripting; ask for a service technician and they want to troubleshoot what you've already done...a few times already. 2. The local stores don't communicate with the virtual offices. If you return a piece of equipment, be sure to get documentation it was received otherwise you'll continue to get charged and have a hard time proving otherwise. 3. Expect to call multiple times before they get the billing right. And stay away from their mobile cellular service. I wish I could use AT&T fiber optics that just came to my area but you'll need a separate cable line coming into the house and they would need to dig up my yard and pavers. The "greeter" took my name when I arrived. Asked me to have a seat and said I'd be called. After 5 minutes of waiting, watching the greeter do nothing but play on his phone, I approached him and asked if he could just check in my cable boxes and give me a receipt. He said no, that he's just a greeter. For the next 15 minutes, as I continued to wait, he continued to play on his phone and nothing else. It was near the end of the day and only one other person walked into the store after me. The other employees were working and unavailable so this has nothing to do with them. They put my name on a list and had me sit till an associate was ready to help me out! A gentleman named Kelie helped me sign up for internet service. He explained everything to me and made sure i was well informed about very detailed in this plan. He had me download the Xfinity apps and get me setup. They are THE only provider in my area, so they completely take advantage. I work from home and internet is a must have for me to provide an income. I've had no choice but to deal with only Comcast/xfinity for the last 8 years. I'm paying $112 for internet ONLY! They lock you into a year contract, but they call me every 6 months like clockwork to say my promotional rate expired and they raise the price on me AGAIN! So they can change whatever they want in the contract But...if YOU try to get out of the contract they charge you a $230 early termination fee. Good luck trying to even get anyone on the phone to talk to and IF you do they are completely full of $#*! with everything they say because everyone you talk to will tell you something different. Upon dealing with the store representative, Charles, he had no customer service skills, in fact he was rude. When I asked questions it was if I was bothering him. Arrived very early on a Saturday morning and it took us roughly an hour to return equipment. Not because there were a ton of people already in line, but because the people working there are slow as molasses. While they were polite - there truly was not a care in the world, or sense of urgency for these folks. There were 4-5 employees in the store. Only 2 seemed to be working, the third was a "host" and his one and only job seemed to be greeting/signing people in. The others were literally doing nothing but standing behind their computers. In fact, they seem to be more interested in watching the large television in the customer "lounge" area. Not an ideal customer experience when you have customers sitting around waiting while employees stare blankly at cartoons. Needless to say - it's not surprising other reviews are so bad. Time is precious - figure out a way to improve your average handling time and ensure ALL employees are engaged. It shouldn't take 15-30 mins per person, nor should you have employees standing idly by. read more

The store is spacious and you have the capability to sign up for an appointment online which is great and convenient. I will leave it at that. We arrived 5 minutes before our appointment and had to wait 20 minutes. We only came to the store because we were going to switch from Verizon to Xfinity and get new phones. We tried to do it online but you can not select ship date for your phones, you have to ship to your home, and you have to be home for signature (not really convenient). So we made an appointment. Not only did it not run on time, the phone we wanted they had on display in the store, but when we went to order it they said they dont carry it. They also couldnt check any other stores to see if they had it. Nor could they tell us if they were ordering more and when they would be in. We were asked to just order online (which was the entire point why we went to the store). We asked if they could order it for us and ship to the store and the answer was no. It was a frustrating visit. Even spoke with a manager that was not helpful. We ended up leaving the store with no phones and ordering online. Hopefully someone will be home when they deliver! I've been to the "traditional" Comcast offices before to return equipment and these are night and day. The traditional offices seem more like a DMV, where you wait in line and approach the window. The open floor concept was confusing and I had no idea where to go to pay, even with an MBA. It seems Comcast is trying to copy Apple's set up, but the execution isn't working, and their lack of originality is far from respectable. We approached one of the two greeters by the door, he told us that it would be a few minutes, and took our name. Five to ten minutes later we asked how much longer it would be and were told 25-30 minutes. We wound up leaving because we had somewhere to be. Needless to say our trip was a disappointment and a waste of our time.
