I wanted to review this particular store as I've now been there about 6 or 7 times. I've had Xfinity/Comcast services for many years now including their internet, cable and phone. I've gone into this store to talk about all three of these services. I've added services, deleted services, come in for questions and bought two Iphones all from this store in Roseville. In all of my dealings, and with every single person I've dealt with at this location, I have always come away pleased with the service I've received. So, I was dismayed before my last visit to see that the store had such a low Yelp rating. I think the low posters are brining down what should be an overall much higher rating for two reasons: First, they're using this as a general spot to rag on Xfinity/Comcast for high prices, bad contracts and/or bad customer service over the phone. Given my own experiences, many of these complaints may be accurate. However, posts for this store, I believe, should be confined to the service of the people at this store. Secondly, I think many people are posting bad reviews because they had to wait a long time to see someone when they came into this store. It is true that if you walk in off the street you will likely have to wait a while to get seen by someone. However, you can make an appointment online and get seen at your appointment time right when you walk in. Just make an appointment and you won't have to wait. I made an appointment for when I went in last on 3/9/23. Sam J. called me up for my appointment right on time. I told him I wanted to cancel my cable but keep my phone and internet. He cancelled it on the spot without trying to hard sell me on keeping it. Moreover, he told me two different things I could do to lower the cost on my internet. So, by the end of the 15 minutes I spent in the store he had cut a total of $150 per month from my internet/cable bill. If you have to deal with Xfinity/Comcast, I highly recommend this store -- just make an appointment before you go in! read more

I don't know of any other service I have that is as expensive, low quality, and horrendous customer service as Xfinity/Comcast. I have had Xfinity cable for before they were Comcast and they continue to amaze me no matter how low the bar is, they still find a way to make things worse and more expensive. Price: They used to have a fixed price for the term of the contract and at the end of the contract, you could actually get a lower price. That is as antiquated as butter churn. Now, they raise equipment costs regularly and the monthly rates are outrageously high. If you try the trick of threatening to leave them, it does no good in terms of them even keeping the price the same, let alone a discount. Also, any discounts they give you expire, so your price just goes up and up. Service: There service is not only merely terrible, it is the worst customer service of any business I've ever dealt with. Trying to talk to a human being is like winning the lottery. Even getting a chat going on your phone is difficult because you have to go through (bad) AI hell even before you can get someone who responds slowly and uses only canned answers. Also, I believe that if they can't answer your question quickly, they disconnect you and you have to start all over with another person. If I could only get back the hours I've spent with "customer service" at Xfinity, I could add five years to my life (and this doesn't even include the damage of high blood pressure every time I'm forced to talk to them. Quality: If the quality wasn't as bad as it is, I wouldn't be forced to use their terrible customer service. However, we are always subjected to outages, transmission issues, streaming issues, poor signal quality, etc. If I had a meaningful choice, I would switch in a nano-second. I honestly cannot think of anything positive to say. Yelp requires that I give them at least one star, but even one star is not deserved. read more

Tried to work with Reggie on something for my account. He was no help at all and was very rude. I was asking him questions but he refused to hear me out and check other options for me. I just ended up walking out with there 1-800 customer service line instead. Will not be coming back and starting to make changes to switch to another company. read more

Xfinity is the worst hands-down do not get I repeat. Do not get anything from Xfinity because if you're even remotely late by a month they will send your bill to collections not even giving you a chance to fix it. They will promise you good things for that amount of time once that timeframe ends they will rip you off. Very bad quality very poor service. I would not trust any Xfinity store and I started out by going with Xfinity. You know I had their Wi-Fi and I had mobile service from them. The phone they gave me broke within two weeks yet I still had to pay it off. I had to switch to a different phone and yet that phone would not work with their SIM card so I would not able to use the phone unless I had Wi-Fi but yet they still charged me for the service even though I couldn't use their service and even after I got them to take the bill off to not charge me, they still were illegally charging me without my knowledge. I literally had to check my bank statements just to find out that they were charging me and again illegally they will promise you good things, but once that time is over, there's nothing good that comes out of it. They will rip you off and act like it's your fault in the end so do not get Xfinity especially for Wi-Fi Internet or mobile they are not a good company. I switched to T-Mobile and I've been super happy since then so trust me when I say do not trust Comcast Xfinity. They will overall rip you off in the end and still charge you even though they're the ones who make the mistakes. read more

I visited this Xfinity store Feb. 12, 2026, and they could not find my account to make any changes. I have tried everything to resolve issues, and Xfinity will not work out their web page bugs to allow me to log in to my account, and do not have a record of my account currently. (Like I never existed with them) I have been with Xfinity Mobile since 2018, customer service options and experience told me to come to an Xfinity Mobile store, after passing me off for 4 hours, hanging up on me, basically torturing me, because I needed to update info on my account, so- I went to this one (store here in Roseville), I was made to wait quite a long time, they tried to locate my account unsuccessfully, then another rep. told me there was nothing they could do with the tools they had, he was just a bit rude about it, no apologies for the 5 hours of grief Xfinity has caused me, to no resolution, not to mention that this issue of not being recognized as an Xfinity customer, when I have been one and have been paying them for the service since 2018, is maddening, appalling, disgusting, imo. The ruder rep. told me to call the 611 number, which is the same number that brought me to a dead end of incompetence prior. It has been since October 2025, since Xfinity has stated I do not have an account with them for the phone number I have and have had with them since 2018, but they still have been collecting my money, except this past month when I needed to replace a stolen debit card that was on autopay. Xfinity is completely incompetent. I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor, do not let Xfinity be your non existent provider for anything, unless you want to be entertained in a way of ironic abuse and recollect that South Park episode when the Comcast rep. pulls out his nipples every time the customer needs an issue resolved, telling you, you are SOL. read more

I had a very good experience at the Roseville Comcast Store. I am a bulk customer which lost Wifi at my home. I brought in my modem, explained the problem, and after a little troubleshooting, Brandon exchanged my modem for a new one. Worst experience ever. Been a customer for 21+ years. Was treated horribly. Today was 97 degrees out. Arrived right before 10a opening - a queue of mostly seniors had formed outside in the sun/heat. After the door was unlocked & security shades drawn up, a person (later identified as the assistant mgr) came out to take names. After taking names (& not inviting us all in) I asked if he was just going to let everyone stay out in the heat or if he was going to invite us in to cool off. He gave me the stink-eye. I asked "why the stink-eye?" He said "that's what I do when people get smart with me." REALLY? ‍ The experience went downhill from there. I asked for the mgr & was lied to about him being on vacation. I showed an email from another store employee from an hour before saying I should come to the store to talk with the named mgr. Once I caught them in a lie the mgr graced me with his appearance from the back room only to disrespect me by lying about why my bill had suddenly risen after having made complaints about getting flooded with spam emails. At the end of all the disrespect I just turned & walked out. I then drove to a different Xfinity store & cancelled our triple play (internet, phone, cable TV). The mgr at that store explained that the Roseville "corporate store" is known for mistreatment of customers saying even he was treated poorly when returning equipment for a family member. So, he understood why I was canceling even after he profusely apologized for my poor treatment & gave it his best effort to convince me to stay. I informed him of what famed former Citigroup CEO, Walter Wriston, once said: "Capital goes where it's welcome & stays where it's well treated." Today, like so many "cord-cutters" (1.7 million of them nationwide last quarter alone) I took my capital (money) where it will be treated better. read more

We have Xfinity for cable, phone and internet and, quite frankly, get skewered each month by their high prices. But for high prices, you should at least get some service, right? WRONG!!! I had an issue with my email and was unable to use it. In the meantime, emails are piling up that I need address, so it needed to get fixed ASAP. I tried to use their phone support, but they have designed it so that it is virtually impossible to reach a real person with whom you can converse so as to quickly discuss the issue and get it resolved in a reasonable amount of time. After trying the phone support option over two days, I decided to try to talk to a real person at one of their stores, so I went to the Roseville location. After checking in, I was assigned to a man who, once I explained the issue, looked at me as if he hadn't heard a word I'd said. After a second try, he said, "We can't do anything about that." What!? I pay you through the nose every month for email service and, when there is an issue, you don't have the knowledge, ability or skill to assist in solving the problem? Then what are we paying you for? Then a tallish African-American man in the corner (whose name I did not get) started to yell at me because what I was saying to my assigned agent was loud enough to be heard around me and he didn't appreciate how their (Xfinity's employees') incompetence was being brought to the attention of anyone within earshot. His comments to me were condescending, sarcastic and outright bitter. I would suggest to him that, if he hates his job and the company he works for and has no better way to interact with a customer who has a problem with their service that needs resolving, then he should look for employment elsewhere, as this is NOT the job for him. read more

I bet no one at Xfinity ever checks these reviews. Because it's probably so rare for them to be anything but a response to an infuriating experience there. And that's mostly what this is, although sometimes I've appreciated that I'm talking to genuinely knowledgeable people. I had to come in here four times within one week. The first time was to update my service and get a new modem. The woman who helped me was very charismatic, but she screwed up several things on my order. She said I'd have DVR, but gave me a plan, and a box, that didn't do DVR. I returned a few days later to ask about it, but I didn't bring the box because I didn't know my box was bad. So I had to return home and get the box. The guy that was helping me that day seemed to be deeply, deeply flummoxed by the errors on my account. It doesn't seem like my situation merited as complicated a scenario to deal with as it was for him. Then I had to come back to swap the box out because it was super noisy. Clearly something mechanically wrong in that box. And when I came back that fourth time, it was a very long wait. About 40 minutes. The solution was pretty quick once someone was able to talk to me, though. Not looking forward to returning. A company that offers high-speed internet in my neighborhood would have a good chance of stealing business away from Xfinity; check your options! read more

Just needed to return a streaming device I never asked for to begin with. First visit was in mid-December; waited 10 minutes with about 15 other customers. Nothing moved, so I left. Tried again a few weeks later, waited 10 minutes with no contact by any employee, only to be logged second in the list behind the guy who just walked in. When I pointed out that I had been waiting 10 minutes already, the agent said "I know," and then pointed out that the labor market in the USA is tight. Evidently, he wanted to discuss the economy. A couple minutes later, they call the name of the guy who just walked in. I really hate this place. read more

Awful experience. Huge line, slow working staff, very unsupportive manager, who decided not even to listen to the problem I came with. I have spent 3 hours iver a phone trying to order a second line sim and did not work online, so was sent to the office, where manager did not even listen to my problem. We sat there waiting in the line for 2 hours just to here that manager would help me if my husband did not leave earlier because the account was on his name, even the number and my name was also in the information under that account. Not sure how they get away with such illegal contracts. They sign you up for two years at a specific price, then they always increase the price, (during the contract time), you can't leave the contract early or they charge you something like $200, but they can increase their price without consequences ! I had a wonderful experience at this Xfinity store in Roseville. I called Xfinity not long beforehand to set up a new internet service in my home, and came here to pick up a modem and set-up instructions. Phineas was the name of the representative that worked with me, and he had me in and out in under 10 minutes! It was so easy! Under his recommendation, the best time to come into this Xfinity store is when it's raining or snowing; that is when the wait times are shortest. I used the Xfinity Xfi app to set up my modem, and had wifi in my home in under 20 minutes. This was my first time purchasing and setting up internet on my own, and I could not have been happier with the Xfinity representatives that helped make this so easy for me. Make an appointment online to save time!! I came by to pick up some cables for setting up internet. The first time I showed up without an appointment, there were 2 employees helping people and lots of angry looking folks waiting around. At one point someone complained they'd been waiting an hour and the employee said that wasn't too bad as normally waits are longer. I decided to cut my losses and to come back when they first opened hoping the line would be shorter. I realized you could make an appointment online and did so. When I came in the next time, I only waited 5 minutes and they helped me before people who had been there before me. It only took a few minutes and they were very efficient once I was helped, although all they had to do was hand me a box of cables. read more

The acceptable rating for Xfinity by Comcast comes with a caveat. This is only about the store in Roseville to talk to someone in person or exchange equipment. Not the 800# which is totally useless, or the problems with their equipment.. The store is an efficiently run place done in modernistic sweeping lines and industrial colors like a science fiction movie made in 1980 showing life in 2080. There is a touch screen check in (what would Seinfeld do)? I was in before the rush and waiting less than 15 minutes as I saw more employees open a work station. I needed to exchange a cable box and it was pretty much no questions, and just a slight nudge to bundle my services to which I could only reply,..."lets get cable to work first". The clerk was friendly efficient and even admitted Xfinity's equipment is ageing and leaves a lot to be desired. I was amazed at this revelation. For customer service he brought back my old rate and opened more channels at least on a temporary basis. The new box is working better but still has a problem accessing OnDemand. read more

Xfinity...Xfinity Mobile.. In 3 words... Don't Do It! Has anyone else been caught in the Circle of Hell after closing an account with Xfinity? 6 months ago I moved to a location where Xfinity does not provide service. About 5 days before I moved, Xfinity talked me into buying their Mobile phone service. Within DAYS, I knew it wasn't working for me. I returned the phone and switched back to Verizon. So I thought. I ended up missing work driving back and forth between Vadnais Heights Xfinity and the Hugo Verizon store 4 times in one day! My Circle of Hell started at the Vadnais Heights, Minnesota Xfinity store. Angelica, the gal assisting me, seemed to be struggling with the process, mumbling to herself, scrolling on the computer and going into the backroom. I asked another worker if she was new, as she seemed confused, and perhaps needed help...he replied, "No, she's been here longer than me". (I know, right?) Finally, she said everything was closed, since I was on AutoPay, my credit card would be credited $32. I asked for a print out documenting all equipment had been return and there was a credit balance showing. She rolled her eyes but, reluctantly gave me a print out. Well, not so fast... Xfinity has continued to bill my credit card each month for the past 6 months. I have NO services with Xfinity! The amount varies each month from $12 to $286. I spend several hours on the phone each month trying to get this cleared up. I get transferred and disconnected several times and promised that the situation has been rectified. I've asked each one of these people to make sure my credit card information has been removed from their system so they cannot continue to charge my credit card in error. Again, each person assures me my credit card information has been removed. But, each month they charge my card! I can't be the only person going through this hell. read more

Made an appointment and went in to find out why I was being charged for phone service that I never asked for. Apparently the last time I was there, the "account executive" had temporarily reduced my monthly charge and added the phone that I didn't know about. Now the monthly charge is again about 50% more than my neighbors. OK. So the gentleman removes the phone service, reduces my monthly charge by $30 and tells me that I need a different cable box. I get one, spend 4 hours trying to get it installed and am successful. Now I go to watch my second TV, which has been on the service forever, and find that that service has been cancelled. I call, wait on hold for 35 minutes and am told that I have to agree to pay additional to put the second TV back on the service. The whole thing is totally deceitful and borderline crooked. I agreed to have them give me back my second TV but am looking to change. Not at all happy with their business practices. With 50 channels available from a regular antennae, that may be the way to go - and save $150 per month. read more

I came in to get a new promotion package and after wasting hours on the phone and online with customer service I was prepared to cancel my service and switch to someone else honestly. Got a one star because I can't give a zero. My credit card was compromised a month ago and service shut off because I was on auto pay. That time the guy was extremely helpful. Internet has been shut off twice since this time. Each time nobody knows why, even cares why. We spend 20-30 minutes getting everything back on and arguing that it's their fault until they wave the termination fee. I hate going to this store, but it's the closest to my house. I read all the bad experiences. I have history with Comcast. I know how horrible they are, but where else do you go for cable when that's the only option? Any it's almost all bad experiences at the store where I have to pick up my new Comcast equipment. I figured I'd call the store and make sure it was an ok time to pick up the equipment. The number directed me to Comcast (not the store, but their generic number). So I have to deal with all the automatic robot talk and FINALLY get through to a "customer service rep." He asked what I needed assistance with and I replied, "I'm trying to call the Comcast store in Roseville, because I'm seeing nothing but horrible reviews waiting in store forever." He said the store doesn't have a direct number. I said, "I figured as such as their number directed me to you." I said you should check out the reviews the store has as most of them are horrible. He tells me is there anything you can help me with? I say you should look at the reviews because they are reeeealllly bad. He says again, "is there anything else I can help you with?" ALSO.... when I reluctantly signed up again the lady who kept me on the phone for 40 plus minute trying to upcharge me screwed up and charged me an extra $50.00. She completely messed up and misled me. I only caught it the next day on my online banking. So I called Comcast (HELL) again and they said oops. SURE. and that it'd take 3-5 business days for a refund (which I'll have to look for daily since I have zero trust in them). So you read the story's of Comcast/xfinity online, one horror story after the other. Well this is the third time I've gone to a Xfinity store, with equipment issues, general questions, or equipment drop off. All three experiences were just a complete shit show! First off the place is always busy. When you walk in they make you get into a que, depending what you need done you get into a certain que. this last time I needed to drop off equipment and I wanted a receipt. You can just drop off equipment and they will send you a receipt but I don't trust them. 45 minutes later I was call to a help station. In the mean time people in the other que that came in after me were helped and gone. WTF!? I was pissed because all I need was a receipt! There were a total of 4 people working 3 helping people and 1 checking in people. I was told each person could only do a specific task and was told sorry for the wait! Is this a union shop or what? Bullshit!!! Going to Xfinity in like going to the DMV for tabs on you car, help that get berated by angry customers all day, then in turn don't give a shit. What can I say.... they are just awful to deal with. Don't go trying to close an account of a relative that passed away. They can't discuss anything with you. So call end "privacy". This is just cable TV. Not a medical doctor or banking. Geeze... It took us a year and a half to close my parents account. Even returned the equipment. After two months they sent more. Then when we were finally able to get them to close it, we get collection notices on equipment we never ordered! Oh, that year and a half it took to close??? No credit for that either.
