I will be trying to track down the closest office to where my experience happened and I will be calling corporate to complain. Today I witnessed the most horrific display of disgusting behavior by an xfinity employee in San Luis Obispo CA. I assume Santa Maria is her office since I can't seem to find one in slo. She came into Popeyes and yelled, YELLED, at the employee because....wait for it....she had to get her own drinks. She actually threw her cups back at the employee when she handed her the soft drink cups and said, NO! I don't work here! The employee looked shocked and said sorry, the lady then grabbed her cups and yelled "this is the only place around here where you actually have to get your own drinks!" All of this while Wearing her xfinity Comcast uniform. She was so horrifically rude, entitled, selfish, spoiled, disgusting piece of work. You should be ashamed to have her out in public representing your business. I will be working to make sure she is held accountable for her behavior and will be contacting corporate as well. I no people can have bad days but sweetie you is always rude grumpy mumbling something under your breath and rolling your eyes. Alejandra your funny bubbly personality and welcoming smile and positive energy were appreciated upon returning and Luis thank you for your kindness and knowledge after I received none of that from a sales person who wasn't even happy about my two brand new iPhone purchase. Honestly went in expecting the worst (especially on New Year's Day), and was pleasantly surprised. I was quickly greeted upon entering, they quickly figured out what I needed (replacement hardware) and sat me down and got me replacements fast. Came in on Wednesday around 4pm and only waited 5 minutes for some help which was nice but the lady named Lupe that was assigned to me was awfully rude and unprofessional. Not sure if her shift was almost over but she was trying to rush through my questions and she was interrupting me mid sentence. She just talked to me like I was wasting her time. Very annoying experience. Pretty much walk out not getting any solid answers. Guess I should just stick with calling and talking to a person on the phone from Indonesia that barley speaks English clearly. At least they are usual friendly. read more

I had set up my service over the phone and booked an appointment online to go into the store to pick up my equipment. The lady told me to wait and the next available person would help me..I waited for maybe 2 minutes which was great cuz I was on my lunch. The lady helped me in 10 minutes and I was out the door with my equipment. The self install kit is super easy to do too. I was able to stop by another store and make it all the way back to work on my hour lunch! read more

Just want to warn you not to come by without an appointment!!!! I just wanted to drop off an extra cable box I'm being monthly charged for and not using. There are 20 people in the store. After 30 minutes I'm still 5th in line. There is no express customer service for existing customers. They've turned into a phone selling focused business and that takes an hour for each customer. read more

I visited the Store on 685 East Betteravia Rd, Santa Maria, CA 93454. I am elderly and was not all impressed with the attitude of the lady who was under the tent and also the young man that I was trying to tell him why I was there. He was not very friendly and was quit rude. All I wanted to do was return one box and get another. I have a heart condition and along with severe allergies. I cannot breathe very well with a mask on and I just slipped it down to answer his question, (he couldn't understand me with the mask on). He kept saying, pull the mask up all panicked. You have a shield that is 6 ft. from the desk and another shield where the desk is. At least he could of been a little more polite when asking. Customer service is everything...if that is not good, then the Business has a check mark against it. Finally I had to have my wife go in for me and get the box. In the future I prefer to do business on the phone. The person we talked to was great! Employees needs more customer training. read more

My experience was good, wish I was greeted upon entry and told to hold a moment. Staff was awesome, quick and painless.

Only one employee and a long line? Why who knows? Definitely to service the flow of traffic at this location having additional help is needed. Hopefully they will notice over time with the transactional history based on hours of the day they need more employees on the floor. This is. Newer location in a brand new shopping center on a main road in town so will be very busy throughout the day. Additionally they now offer cell phone service along with WiFi and cable as new products to bundle with selection of cell phones and cases which will increase productive of sales. I've had the WiFi service for 6months. Out of each month 2 weeks it would work, the rest of the week it would just buff. Call complain, nothing happen. Complain again they send someone out. They charged me, I call to explain why am I going to pay more for something that doesn't work. They refund me. The problem continues, I call again, upset & this jerk employee from the company Jim cursed at me. I hungry up, called again and cancelled my service. This is not a "store". It is service center. So when you walk in and are greeted by a friendly face and they take your name, expect to wait according to how many people are sitting on the couches waiting in front of you. Dont expect to grab an item off their shelf and just pay for it...you will have to sit on the couch and wait for everyone else to dispute their bill or get technical support or whatever. Why would they not have a dedicated check out person? Might be xfinity but feels like being stuck oblivion. Sitting here as my 10 minute wait is going past 30 minutes...finally manager was helpfull when I asked to get out. Very helpful / nice people here just very poor processes to expedite customers. If I can give this place half a star I would. Horrible customer service especially by the person greeting people named Daniel. Acknowledged me arriving and getting checked in, but refused to help me and helped new people arriving saying he didn't check me in so he didn't know who was first. On this particular visit he was called out by the person checking in asking if the new person he was going to help was checked in. He admitted he hadn't checked her in, but continued to assist her despite the fact that I had arrived earlier. read more

Absolutely abysmal service. It took 4 phone calls and 3.5 hours on the phone to simply schedule an installation appointment. And of course they failed to show up for the appointment. When I called an hour after their 2 hour appointment window had past to find out where they were, all I was told was they would have to reschedule, for EIGHT DAYS LATER! Yes, they don't show up and I have to wait more 8 days to get service. So I spend another hour and a half on the phone trying to remedy the situation, to no avail. The following day I drive 45 minutes over to the nearest Xfinity store in Lompoc to talk to someone in person, and in 2 minutes I get an appointment for first thing the next morning. Xfinity would rather use computers and call centers in India, where everyone simply reads a script rather than provide real customer service, using people with a brain that can respond to issues not covered by one of the pages in a script. When I asked for the supervisor of the most useless customer service agent I was told "we don't have anyone supervising us, the supervisors all work in another building and I can't contact them". Simply pathetic...unfortunately they are the only ones that service my area and I'm stuck with them. I cringe at the thought of having to pay these imbeciles a penny of my money. read more

Beware of Xfinity breach of contract tactics. I had Xfinity internet when I moved to MI in 2016, in 2017 I received a call from Xfinity with a internet package which would actually save me money. At first I was skeptical and asked if this rate was for a specific period of time, will my package change; I was told NO. I was reassured several times that would not happen. In 2018 I moved and requested my service stayed exactly as I had it, they continued to try and sell me a different package. My 1st month at my new address my bill was the same but then the following month my bill increased 20.00. I called and was told that it was a software issue and it was corrected. The following month is happened again, I made multiple calls and was told it was a software issue, that is was corrected to a manager would call me within 3 days to verify. No manager ever called me, I continued to receive the bills with the increased rate and each time I would call, no one could find my contract, no one could tell me what package I had previously; just its a software issue and a manager would contact me. I refused to pay the higher rate because I had not agreed to that package or whatever they decided they were going to charge me for. In September I had to call again and with being on the phone for over 2 hours I spoke to a very nasty women in retention; who stated I was under a new contract and have been since I had moved and I was responsible for all the late charges. At this point, I was so irate and I needed the internet for work; I paid all the late charges and the increased rate. It's now January and I received my next month bill, holy shit they increased my internet only to 120. I believe this is breach of contract, since they state their packages are either 1 or 2 years. If this is the case, whether you go by the date when I moved (July) or now (January); clearly it hasn't been a year. When I spoke w/them yesterday and stated they breach my contract, they are trying to push this under the rug and I was contacted my a representative which tried to offer me a package for approx. 90 a month. No way am I agreeing to this, Xfinity is the one who breached a contract several times. It's about time that the FCC gets involved to investigate Xfinity fraudulent practices. If a consumer tried to breach a contract, Xfinity would be all over it and charge the consumer an astronomical amount. FCC needs to investigate!!!!! read more

I'm very disappointed with their customer service. I went in to upgrade my bundle, because my promotion had ended. I mentioned to the worker that I wanted a similar bundle that was $69.99 for a whole year. He looked at me, laughed and said, "That's impossible. There is no deal like that." He straight out called me a liar while smirking. I told him to do his little research, and to his surprise, I was correct. This was an aggressive salesperson who wanted to make a sale, but lacked the customer service of listening and giving the customer options. I then stated that I was going to shop around for TV service and see if I could get a Visa gift card as well since I was out of the Xfinity contract. He then abruptly looked at me and said that he couldn't open an account and then close it so I could benefit from having the Visa card. At this point, I was annoyed; he was not listening. He said he couldn't do that for me, because he would get fired, and it would be fraud. WTH! I didn't even insinuate that! I couldn't believe what he responded, so I just gave up and left the store. Upon exiting (and avoiding a wide store drama scene), I asked for his name and he yelled, "Daniel, you can't forget that!" See, the store looks awesome, like ATT and Verizon but what makes the store is CUSTOMER SERVICE. This store lacks it. I have been in there a couple times and everyone is so nice and helpful! Most recently we went in to buy iPhones for my mom and I and Jonathan was happy to help us. He was very nice and joked around with my mom and I. We ended up not getting our phones purely because they didn't have any in stock and would have had to order them over 2 days. When we signed up with them we were told we had the unlimited internet plan by the rep. We were paying $84.00 a month and let me tell you... our service wasn't worth $20 let alone the $84.00. Fast forward 9 months into covid, our bill never went up until January 2021. They began charging us $100 extra a month because we were using "too much." Now, I have 3 kids at home on zooms & no choice in that matter BUT our coverage through xfinity was so bad that we had to go buy a $250.00 booster set at the beginning of the school year just so our kids could zoom without interruption. So, after a couple of months of getting charged $184.00, we called to see what was going on and was informed by the rep that we needed a bigger plan. We agreed to up our plan to the unlimited (which we thought we already had) for $117.00 a month & the rep stated that he "emailed" his manager to see if we could get a credit of the $100 for the month prior. Not only did we not receive the credit but they charged us ANOTHER $100 the next month PLUS the new $117.00 rate, so $217.00 out the door for 1 month of horrible internet coverage! You hear about those companies taking advantage because of covid??? This is one of those companies! I'm sure I'm locked into a new contract now that I've upgraded my plan but once it's up... this is my first time using xfinity and what a terrible first impression it's been. paid for services last week and still haven't been able to use cable/wifi. i have agents telling me a technician will be here one day and having no one showing up or they'll eventually show up and never do and then having to reschedule just for the technicians to not install the equipment properly and then having to once again reschedule just for someone to not show up. should have listened to everyone about avoiding this company read more
