I came in for a simple buzz-cut but I have to say that Serena was not only incredibly friendly and wonderful to chat with, but I almost forgot I was in there for a haircut at all. And while the general vibe was relaxed and laid back, she actually gave me practical advice about my hair growing out and layering it with a 3 and a 1 and the results are admittedly very nice. I was pretty upset after I left this place. It took me so long to grow my sons hair only for it to be butchered within minutes by Serena. I brought my 2 yr old son here for the first time to get a haircut. His birthday was coming up and wanted him to look good for his birthday. I asked for an all around trim but to still keep his length. I even showed her a hair inspo. Well, my sons hair turned out nothing close to the picture I showed her. Serena did an amazing job saving my sons botched haircut from a chain hair cut salon. He's had long hair for years, mid-back length. He was ready for a "big boy" haircut going into kindergarten. The chain hair cut salon cut his hair to shoulder length, no depth or movement whatsoever. It looked like a bob, awful.
