There is no shortage of bus/limo transportation companies in Southern California, but what sets them apart is responsiveness and following through on the contract. This company did exactly that. I solicited multiple bids based on very simple criteria. Although several companies were very responsive Xperience was the lowest bid and didn't try to do a lot of up-sell or engage in a back in forth around my event. I rented a bus to accommodate 16 of our friends to transport to and from my wife's birthday celebration. Even after committing to the company they found me lower rates if I was will to use a bus with personal advertising on the side. This showed they were willing to work with their customers to lower costs when special needs or image was not a concern. They were exactly as advertised and the driver was pleasant, responsive and on time. I will rent from them again in the future. read more

Please read below and BEWARE! I have NOTHING to gain in writing this review but to warn others that may get stuck on their special night with an operation like this. It is now obvious that the other 5 star "reviewers" of this scam are employees or friends. Anybody that reads their response to my post can hopefully see that this place is NOT into customer service or satisfaction. Buyer BEWARE! Have never written a bad review, but felt that I MUST warn anybody who chooses to use this "company" I booked my daughter's 12th birthday with Katherine. The "bus" needed to fit 20 kids. After she sent me a picture of a converted camper van, I told her there would be no way that 20 kids could fit in it! She then pushed me on their"limo" bus that could accommodate up to 28 for an additional $150. She sent me a pic of the interior, which was taken in the dark and looked decent enough to move forward. I agreed to a higher price with the promise of a luxury experience with a fantastic kid friendly, entertaining driver. When the converted rickety school bus pulled up, my hopes began to dwindle. But wait! The door opens and there is our tired, retired, grumpy, grandma at the wheel. Oh boy.... It was going to be a long night...I have 18 kids waiting to load up, so I have no choice to move forward. After yelling at our very hyped up, excited kids to "shut up" so she can think, we went on our way. After about 20 minutes with no music, I figured out how to hook up my iPhone to their system, no help from grandma . By the time we got to the first destination and grumpy granny wanted payment on full. This was less than one hour into our evening, i told her that I would pay at the end of our "Xperience". I also told her that I wasn't too happy about the experience so far and I would like to talk to Kat about it. After unloading the kids we took her cell # and told her to stay nearby for our next pickup. When we ready for our pickup... No answer .... Several times .., texted Kat... iPhone 4 battery dying... She finally shows up and we ramble off to our next stop. By the time we arrive at our next stop, my iPhone is dead. Grumpy asks for payment in full again .. I'm fuming... I tell her again that I need to talk to Kat . We still have 4 hours until our "Xperience" ends. We leave, come back and Kat is on grumpys phone. I give her a full rundown of the many things wrong with this "limo" experience she apologizes profusely and agrees to cut my fee by $100 but that she would need to talk to their owner. Our kids load up, and we start home, I tell grumpy that we can cut our "xperience" short by an hour. For the first time, she smiles, and starts driving. But wait... It's not over! Shortly after we start out she pulls the bus over on this dark street. We ask what's going on, but she is in a deep conversation on the phone. She tells me that the owner needs to speak to me. I get out of the bus, and start talking to the owner. Who listens to my complaints, then tells me that my conversation is being recorded and our bus will not go any further until he gets payment in full. Here we are, on the side of a dark street, eighteen 12- year olds, and this guy has basically taken us hostage. Oh, and btw, he would not take payment from the American Express that I originally paid my $150 deposit with! What this guy did was beyond belief and most likely criminal. But what could I do at that time? Under complete duress, I found my other MasterCard and gave it to him, just to get my kids safely home. I am still completely shocked and appalled that any company or individual chooses to do business like this. Levaris was our driver, and a mighty fine driver at that! Booking the bus was extremely easy, and mostly over email so I was able to do it during work. (hehe) Unfortunately at one point the radio went out (and well before we were all drunk) so that was a bummer. However, Levaris was able to get everything situated while we were in the bar grabbing cocktails. We planned our stops in advance, (a couple breweries) and we were even able to add an extra stop (Pacers) once we were all good and sauced up! What an adventure! The Bus wan't brand spanking new, and looked like it may have been an airport shuttle bus in a past life; but it did the job, got us where we were planning and held a rowdy crowd of drunks as we celebrated my birthday. For the reasonable price, ease of scheduling, no hidden fees and the fact that Levaris put up with all of our hi-jinks of the day- If I need another party bus, I would definitely consider Xperience again! read more

I hired Xperience for a brew tour yesterday and it was epic! We had about 14 people on a bus fit for 20, so it was perfect .. plenty of room to move around, but cozy at the same time. The lighting and music rocked. The driver Levarris arrive plenty early, and he was very friendly & accommodating throughout the day. We gave Kathleen a list of breweries along with addresses for several house pickups, several days in advance, and didn't have to worry about it after that. I was able to pay through paypal which is how a lot of friends paid, as well as give the rest of the balance in cash on Saturday. Kathleen was so patient with me as I fired off email after email with questions. She always responded promptly and was very helpful. I felt very confident in our choice to book with Xperience and the customer service I received was above and beyond any expectation I had. Our driver Levarris arrived early and was very patient as I gathered everyone for departure. He took all the best routes to the breweries so we did not lose time in travel. He was so patient as the intoxication levels increased and even went over a little on our allotted time because I couldn't get everyone onto the bus. We tried to clean up some of the mess but I was assured it was completely ok and they were used to it. One of the best party bus experiences ever and again I will absolutely use them again. I would give this company zero stars if it were possible. We used Xperience for a birthday party to downtown and had problems from start to finish. I received a call from Kathleen two hours before our pick up time stating that the bus might be up to 30 mins late. No problem up to that point, but when the bus showed up to our pick up location, it had 4 extra riders on it already. The bus driver claimed that he extra passengers were part of my party. When I spoke to the owner, he thought it was my responsibilty to manage who rides on the bus. It was my responsibility to kick these extra passengers even though my whole entire party was waiting in the designated pick up area. During the ride, I was told that my party had to be dropped off at 10:15pm, 30 mins sooner than I wanted to be dropped off in downtown even though I had called and told my party to show up 30 mins later than the pick up time per Kathleen's earlier call. The company also claimed that they were a transport service and not available to drive my party around downtown all night. I have never heard of a party bus being just a transportation service. Another excuse for poor service. I had to pay $50 cash to spend 30 extra mins on the bus. Cash up front. It was extortion, however I paid the $50. I was also told that we would be granted free admission to the club upon arrival, however the club promoter did not get that information from Xperience. I had to haggle and negotiate to get our party in without paying. At the end of the night the company was instructed to pick our party up at 1:30am. The bus didnt show up until 2am. When I called and spoke to the uneducated owner, he made every excuse to try and deny any accountablility. Then told me he would have to call me back to see what time the bus truly picked my party up. He hasn't called me back still. Do not trust this company or use their service. It's a cheap deal from a cheap company. Using them is a sure way to ruin your occassion. read more

Had the best Party Bus experience last saturday for my girlfriend's birthday. Very reasonable price! Levarris drove us to a couple of breweries, was very accommodating, and even returned after we had been dropped off, to return a sweatshirt that was left behind. Cool dude. Bus was nice on the inside, two stripper poles, loud sound system, and a headphone hookup for an iPhone/ipod, plus a cd player and radio. We hired Xperiance to shuttle the wedding party and guest from the wedding venue to their respective hotels. Xperiance was easy to work with. We did have a bit of miscommunication on what we wanted for the night but it was quickly resolved by a quick phone call and then we were all back on track. I really appreciated the responsiveness on the part of Katherine and her commitment to resolving the confusion. They did a great job accommodating our request and they provided a great service to our guest. We did have a bit of a hick-up at the end of the night when the bus was making the last run of the night - taking the wedding party to their house - the shuttle battery died. Luckily someone had cables and they jumped started the shuttle and they were off. (You can't have a wedding without a fun story!!) They were a lot more responsibly priced than others and well worth the cost. I would recommend them again. read more

As a first party bus attendee for a friends birthday party celebration I was very surprised our bus broke down and they would not say why. Hindering our plans on waiting an extra hour for another bus to arrive where the one broke down leaves me wondering... Does this company routinely and thoroughly let alone keep maintenance records on their vehicles? I highly suggest you ask for the records of the vehicle you will be renting, license plate # included. Last Friday was the second time I took this party bus to a concert at Sleep Train. The first was Dave Matthews band and last Friday was 91Xfest. It was great! $25/person round trip from PB (or Encinitas and possibly Oceanside if there are enough people that want to go) , can't beat it, no other company was doing anything like this. My friends and I used this company to transport us to a Yacht Event/Booze Cruise type of thing to celebrate a 30th birthday. It was perfect for us, since nobody would have to drink and drive. It was so much fun and the driver was awesome. He arrived on time, maybe even a few minutes early, and waited patiently for our whole group to get there. We played our music and were able to bring snacks and drinks on board. He drove safely and got us to our destination on time. I was in search of a party bus for my friend's 30th birthday and came across this company. I called and left a message and within 30 minutes, I had a call/text back. Kathleen was absolutely amazing to work with. She responded to my inquiry regarding my needs for a party bus quickly, and she gave me multiple options that accommodated what we wanted. Once I decided on a bus option, she sent me a quote with an awesome price - unbeatable really (I received quotes from a couple other places as well.) The bus included coolers, ice, and water - and she even threw in some promo booze which definitely made the birthday girl happy. Every question I had, she responded to me quickly and took care of every one of my concerns in a friendly and professional manner. She definitely made me feel at ease regarding this event - she set everything up for me and all we had to do was show up. The bus arrived about 10 minutes early the day of the birthday - it was clean, and had everything on board as Kathleen promised. The bus driver (Shannon) was very friendly and already knew where we wanted to go. She offered to take pictures and humored us as the day and alcohol consumption went on. I suppose the one little irk I would have is that the bus was a little on the small side (we had 14 of us including some big guys and this bus was for 16.) To make space for the stripper pole, the middle seats had to be folded and turned up which kind of made the seating arrangements tight (we are all friends, so it wasn't a big deal.) Also, the seats, though they could be folded up, couldn't turn around from facing forward so some people had to sit backwards the whole time to talk to everyone - it would have been nice if the seats could turn to sit against the side wall - but again, this is no one's fault and we made it work. Once our day was done, the bus was pretty much a mess but Shannon told us not to worry about cleaning. Again, she was very friendly and I am glad she was our driver for the day. All in all, I would definitely book with Kathleen again - she even checked in with me during the day to make sure everything was going well. I booked Xperience on a SATURDAY NIGHT A FEW HOURS BEFORE WE LEFT and it was the easiest thing imaginable. I called in and spoke with Kathleen who was very informative and helpful emailing me a price list and pictures of different vehicles available that would accommodate our group of 13. She was incredibly prompt polite and professional the entire time with verifying info, taking payment and accommodating our later than anticipated pick up time. When we saw the bus it was fantastic! They had upgraded us to a charter bus to seat 30 with 2 dancing poles and came stocked with ice cold water and soda. Very roomy, great after a night of heavy drinking! Our driver Robert had gotten there about 30mins early but was patient enough to wait for us to arrive at the pick up location. We payed cash before starting the night, which was discussed prior and agreed upon. He even played photographer for us a few times that night! It was just a simple to and from drop off in Pacific Beach and everything went smoothly. Reasonable price and great service until the end of our business transaction.
