Absolutely abysmal service. Paid extra for a scheduled delivery from Home Depot with a guaranteed 2-hour delivery window between 10am and 12pm. XPO rescheduled it at 10pm the night before to 6am-8am, when nobody would be at the location to accept delivery. I called and said it needed to be at a minimum from 9:30am to 12pm. The lady on the phone said ok, she would note it for the driver. The day of delivery, 1pm comes around and no delivery has been made. I called XPO again and they said they have no record of the delivery and that I needed to contact Home Depot. I said I already called Home Depot and that I had an XPO work order number. After being of hold 20 mins, she said I had to call a different number for XPO Home Depot deliveries and she couldn't help. I called the new number, who said she worked for XPO dispatch and that she was not allowed to provide information to any customers and I had to talk to customer service, whom I just spoke to. After I blew up, she then asked for my order number and advised that they had assigned the delivery to the wrong kind of truck and that the delivery had been cancelled. Speak to Home Depot and have it rescheduled for another day she said. Seriously!!? Just pathetic! read more

My delivery was going to be 3 hours late and I had to cancel. The support is overseas so I could not get any updates on where the driver was or how many more stops before your delivery. They could not call the driver, they could only "chat" supposedly, but got no response. No one ever provided any update or let me know it was going to be late. Now my Peloton is going back to the warehouse and I have to start all over and reschedule my delivery, back to the end of the line. Horrible customer service. The app is no help. It showed the driver's location that was probably at the warehouse in the morning and never moved. I will work on notifying Peloton of this horrible experience so they stop using XPO Logistics for delivering their equipment. I understand things can happen to cause delays, but not updating me about a 3+hour delay is unacceptable. It took me 3 phone calls and waiting an hour on the phone for a supervisor to even find out about the delay. I want to add that my delivery was coming from Huntington Park, CA so I am not sure if it is the same as the company located in Orange, CA. My complaint is with XPO Logistics transportation company. read more

I ordered a refrigerator from Samsung.com on Saturday, January 31st. The delivery was suppose to take a couple business days - I'm okay with that. I contacted Samsung on the 1st - I was expecting my 2 day delivery to be scheduled on the 1st - they told me that their delivery company would be contacting me. Later on the 1st, I contacted Samsung and they were surprised that I had not heard from the delivery company. The rep checked and said that the refrigerator was delivered to the company and I should hear from them shortly. Feb 2nd, and I finally hear from XPO. They have me scheduled for Feb 3rd. Okay, one day off isn't that bad. They give me a delivery window - perfect! Feb 3rd - I received a text and call from the driver - they're on schedule and 15 minutes away. I receive a message from the dispatch - driver is a few minutes away. No driver! I receive three phone calls from the driver - rings about 1/2 of a ring, then drops. I call the number back and I can't leave a message. I called the dispatch office and the gal told me that the driver was there, waited 15 minutes and left. I told her that he never showed up. She told me she'd send me a picture of my door to prove the driver was there - no picture was sent to me! She then told me the driver was in RSM, so I told her that my place is on the way back and they can drop the refrigerator off. She then calls the driver and he's already past my exit. I bet he did the same thing at the next delivery - reason why he's on his way back so soon. The gal at dispatch tells me they can't deliver today, come on it's still before 2:00 pm!!! She told me she would put a notice out and as soon as the truck comes back, they would unload the refrigerator and put it in the front of the line, so first thing in the morning, they would re-scan and then could re-schedule for Saturday. Okay, if it's the best you can do. I contacted Samsung and the guy there tells me this isn't the first time this has happened. I ask if there's another company they use and he said no, unfortunately, we're stuck with XPO! He called them for me and said they confirmed the re-scan first thing in the morning and set up delivery for Saturday. Okay, nothing more I can do. Friday morning, no re-scan. Friday noon, still no re-scan. Finally, they re-scan at 1:15 and they tell me they'll let me know if they can delivery on Saturday. If not, Monday at the latest (due to the late re-scan). Again, I'm very frustrated, but what can I do? Saturday comes around and nothing! NOTHING!!! Today is Monday and I finally get something from XPO - refrigerator has been scanned in and is ready for delivery TOMORROW!!!! XPO is terrible! Empty promises and terribly run. Due to this fiasco, I will not order anything from a company that uses XPO for their delivery service. read more

Ordered something on December 20th. It shipped out to their local RXO warehouse. Supposed to be delivered January 23rd. RXO reschedules the delivery on the day of delivery. February 2nd was the rescheduled date, I waited around and then received a text it was being rescheduled again. February 7th they were supposed to deliver, I contacted them that morning at 8am and they confirmed 9:30-12:30. At 10:05 I received a text that it had been postponed until March 16th. So I canceled my order with the company I ordered stuff from which is unfair to them simply because XPO's lack of ability to deliver items. Maybe they shouldn't accept loads that they're unable to deliver. So if you're looking to have them ship your merchandise, just know that's the type of customer service they will be providing to your customers/end users. read more

If your freight delivery has hired XPO to deliver your items, beware. I had washer/dryer delivery set for a specific date and was told the driver would contact me 30 min before arriving, knock on the door and wait 15 min. They did in fact contact me 30 min before, so at least there's that but they did not knock on my door and stayed parked in front of my condo building for 15. My unit is at the back of the building so I would have never seen them. I was working at the time and missed the call but returned it as soon as I was able. They told me the driver had left because no one answered the door which was untrue since my window faces the door and I was working from home at that window. When I called back it had been a total of 30 min since the driver had arrived and I asked if they could reroute since no one had knocked on my door. Customer Service informed me that they couldn't make the driver turn around since they are contracted.. I asked what notes the driver left and they informed me that the driver stated they knocked and waited for 15 minutes.. I was sitting at that window and would have seen somebody come up and knock on my door. I tried to reschedule for the following day but they told me they could not reschedule since the items still had to make it back to them before I could reschedule. I called for the next 2 days and they told me that they still didn't have my item back. When they finally called me back to reschedule 3 days later, they gave me a date that was 2 weeks after the initial delivery date. I asked if any accommodation could be made since their driver lied about knocking on my door and was supposed to have completed this step as part of the delivery process and they stated that that was the soonest they could deliver it to me. Hopefully you guys don't order large items that use XPO as delivery! Also, this is not the 1st time I've had this occur with this particular company. I had previously ordered gym equipment that used this company and it ended up being 1 month and 3 supposed delivery attempts after the initial delivery date before I received my items. read more

These people are crooks. They would confirm delivery then call to say they have emergency or truck breakdown. When they do come, they dont take care of your appliances and break parts and tell you they would replace then disappear. Do not do business with them. read more

I seem to have the same issue everyone has, they don't keep to any of the times that they agree upon, they always have an excuse and say they'll call you back within 24 to 48 hours and then they don't even call back... Possibly the worst company I've ever dealt with read more

Xpo is often contracted by Amazon when they are certain that they cannot complete a delivery within their guaranteed time frames. Xpo is effectively a skapegoat to syphon off negative reviews away from Amazon. Scheduled delivery window? No problem, as it will be late. read more

Eric and crew arrived on time and professionally delivered and installed a LG refrigerator. If not the best, it is certainly in the top two or three delivery/installation experiences we have enjoyed. The crew obviously knew what they were doing; took care moving the appliances through the house; and expertly installed the new unit. Fantastic! read more

This must be the worst company in the US. I can't even imagine a worse company unless they poison kittens or dump chemicals in the ocean. Because as far as customer service goes, this is hands down the worst ever. We experienced pretty much what all the other 1 star reviewers are saying. All our deliveries from them have resulted in multiple rescheduling, after we waited for hours for the delivery. Yesterday we waited 10 hours and even checked that delivery would be made, they confirmed our items were "on the truck" but at 10PM we checked the website again and it said WE needed to reschedule the delivery. That was Wednesday, it's now scheduled for Saturday. IT WAS ON THE TRUCK! They had to unload it today, just to reload it on Saturday (I'll post an update if it even shows up Saturday). Just bring it by the NEXT DAY since it's on the truck. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from businesses who do business with this company. If you order anything ask about the delivery company and if they say XPO, RUN!!!! Go with companies that use other shippers. ANYONE, a guy in a u-haul, a station wagon, a horse and buggy, will be better than this company. I wish I could give them minus stars or at least 0 stars. UPDATE: Today is the day it was supposed to arrive, try #3, and they just canceled the delivery. Said they had truck issues. I have read everywhere that they lie and so I don't believe them at all. We are canceling our custom order with Living Spaces and will get furniture from a company that does not do business with this POS company. read more

If these people are making your delivery you are in deep trouble. If it's a Friday forget it they will find a way not to deli er your items. They are rude and will hold your items hostage if you ask any questions. And forget about any sort of customer service it does not exist They will merely double down on the rude behavior. If zero stars were an option, that's what I would give. This is the WORST shipping experience I have ever dealt with. Actually - make that the worst consumer experience I have ever dealt with. We bought a pallet of flooring from Costco which used XPO as the shipping company. I received a call from XPO and was told on the phone that I would need to come pick up the pallet at their warehouse because "we looked on google earth and saw that you are on a tree-lined street and we can't drive our 40 foot truck down it." On top of that, they gave me 2 days to come pick up my shipment or they would start charging a storage fee. I told them to hold it and I'd be back in contact. I have a small car and would not be able to pick this up on my own. I worked with Costco who told me that they would help us find a solution and that they would be back in contact with me. 2 days later, I received a call from Barb at XPO remind me to come pick up the shipment or they would send it back to the vendor the following week. I explained that I was working with Costco for a solution and to please not send it back. I was berated by Barb who told me that I didn't communicate this with her, that they don't work with Costco but the company of the flooring that I bought through Costco only. I told her to hold my shipment and Costco would be in contact. Costco contacted them directly and got the same google earth story I got. Costco ended up hiring a third party shipping company to go and pick up the shipment from XPO's warehouse and delivered it to my door in the same 40 foot truck that XPO wouldn't even attempt to try and drive down our residential street. The had zero issues. XPO's business plan is to do the absolute minimum and not even do that well. I will avoid any and all shipping with XPO ever again. I wish companies would stop using XPO. I have tried to complain about their terrible service. Hearing a cheerful, "We're so sorry. We understand your disappointment" from the company that created the situation is simply infuriating. XPO Logistics creates terrible situations for the unsuspecting customer and then has the audacity to simply say "Oops (but that's the way it is)". We ordered a Ghost Bed for my Mother in December, and we still haven't had it successfully delivered. She lives in assisted living, and the special instructions were put on the instructions for the delivery team, but they failed to deliver "Oops, they didn't see the special instructions". Okay, we'll try again and bend over backwards for the delivery team, so they don't have to adhere to the special instructions. But "Oops, we decided to call you instead of knocking on the door and you didn't reply in 15 minutes so we released the driver. You'll have to schedule another day probably two weeks from now if you're lucky". If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation that your order is coming from XPO, you MUST stay by your phone and you MUST make certain you take your day off from work to ensure you receive it without fail. read more
