This place is great! Fast, friendly service and reasonable prices. I shattered my phone twice (I know). The first time I visited, I believe I had Robert and he was quiet but got the job. The only problem I had was that there was a tiny but annoying dark mark near my home button that he said he would fix as soon as he got the new equipment but he never called me back to fix it. When I dropped my phone my first response was to figure out the nearest Apple store, well after I did that I realized that there was a week+ long wait to get a screen replaced or as they said I could "go in and wait for a slot to open up". No thanks Apple. Next step was to check yelp for phone fixers open on a Sunday. These guys were right around the corner, I went in and they had just gotten a set of screens to replace mine, they said it would be $115 and would take about 15 minutes, well it took a bit longer than we estimated because the screens they got in were from a different supplier and were not up to snuff, so they replaced mine with a temporary screen and said come back the next day to get the permanent replacement. I came back the next day, was in and out in 15 minutes, they even included a free glass screen cover. I recommend this place for anyone needing a quick cell phone fix. read more

I honestly came to this place because of the reviews but Boy was I disappointed. I first went in January because of a cracked screen. I paid $125 dollars for a new screen. A couple weeks later the screen started to come off. I went back and said that it was a faulty screen. They fixed it again for me. Then about a month later, the screen again started to come off and eventually Cracked the top half of my screen because of this. I went back and this time they charged me $75 to fix that even though it wasnt my fault(Early march). Now again the 10th of May, the screen again comes loose and cracks my screen once again. Now I'm out of a phone for the cheap products they use to repair our phones. If you're looking for quality work, this is not the place. I was better off going to apple in the first place, had I known this was going to be a reoccurring problem. read more

Terrible service and quality. Been coming here for over two years and have spent about $400 over that time, getting screens fixed and screen protectors put on our phones. After a year of having our last protectors we came and got new ones, the owner who usually did our stuff wasn't there so a woman helped us. She didn't even tell us until after our phones were done that they didn't have the protectors we asked for. At that point I didn't want to be rude and tell her to take it off so we went ahead and paid and left. Only 10 days later the screen protector completely shifted and came off. A corner bent and got a small crack and took it back and they refused to fix it. Said all they could do was "replace it and charge us for a new one" unacceptable for only 10 days of having the screen protector. If I had cracked it myself I would understood but the entire think shifted and lifted in 10 days!! When the man replaced it, it lasted a year with no problems. Save your money and order off amazon unless you like bringing your phone in every two weeks for screen protectors to be replaced. read more

It took me a month or so to finally find someone who could fix an iPad air (first generation) no one seemed to want to deal with them. ('to fragile' they all told me) I was about to go with a place in Florida when I found Xpress Cellfixers and couldn't believe I had not come across them earlier in all my searching. I called them and thankfully they fixed ipad airs. I had spilled liquid on mine and it got in the charging port. I wanted the charging port replaced. I called them to ask how to begin and they said fill out their online payment and then it will give you directions on how to send in my iPad. I did and it showed the name of one of their managers as getting the payment through paypal. Fine. So I ship them my iPad and am waiting to hear back from them. I check post office tracking and see it had been delivered 3 days prior. I call and they had no idea I sent them the iPad. It had been sitting in their mail box for almost a week. I was so disappointed because I can't live without my iPad. Ugh. Anyway, it took almost 3 weeks to fix because it ended up being the motherboard or something that had to be replaced, not just changing the charging port. I had messed it up further by plugging it in when it was still wet. They were very nice and helpful, and were patient with my constant calling. They even just charged me for the charging port and not for what was actually fixed. I definitely recommend them. Even though I gave them 5 stars, their payment website could be better. It said it would let you know exactly what to do as far as shipping and it didn't, and also they were not alerted that I had made a payment so it didn't even show that I had even paid nor that a shipment was coming their way, and I had go through the payment process again. (I did it after they fixed my ipad which was nice). Overall, they did a great job. iPad works as if new and have not had any problems. I'm glad I was able to find someone also in Illinois. Had I known exactly what was wrong with my iPad I know I would have gotten it back sooner. They had it almost a month. They do good work and their prices are better than most, I've seen places charge $169 to just change the charging port. After all was said and done I was only charged $95.
