    Disappointing Experience with Western Motors in Los Banos…read more Last month, we purchased a 2022 Chevy truck from Western Motors in Los Banos for use on our ranch. During the purchasing process, the staff was very eager--even aggressive--to close the deal. At the time, the truck appeared to be in good condition and we believed we were making a fair purchase. Unfortunately, within just a month of owning the vehicle, it began running sluggishly. We made multiple attempts to contact Western Motors--leaving several voicemails and sending an email directly to the manager--but received no response whatsoever. All we wanted was assistance or guidance on what to do next. Their lack of response was extremely frustrating. Left with no other option, we took the truck to our trusted local mechanic, who couldn't determine the issue. We then brought it to a certified Chevrolet dealership for a full diagnostic. There, we learned that the truck had a broken piston--a serious issue that had clearly been present for some time before we purchased it. Fortunately, the vehicle was still covered under the manufacturer's warranty, which is the only silver lining in this situation. We are extremely disappointed in the way Western Motors handled--or rather, ignored--this situation. As farmers, we value trust, honesty, and integrity. We were more than willing to work with them if they had simply responded, but their silence spoke volumes. We'll be sharing our experience with others in our community and leaving honest reviews to warn potential customers. Needless to say, we will never do business with Western Motors again. Very disappointing.

    Amazing service! My…read moreson was driving to So. Cal to spend a week with his brother before the brother got married. Just a carefree week of bachelor brothers hanging out. He was supposed to drive there on Saturday and get to So. Cal before dark. However, he left after dark. He passed Los Banos (Route 33 exit) close to midnight and his engine started running really rough and it was losing power. He limped to the next exit, at less than 25 mph, turn around, and come back to Los Banos. We picked him up around 1:30 and got back home at 3AM. At 8AM (Easter morning), we started calling mechanics in Los Banos. Of course, we used Yelp and sorted by ratings. We went down the list and left messages for everyone. We just prayed that someone would be willing to work on a holiday. Jesse was the only one who answered the phone. We explained our predicament. He agreed to help if we could get there by 10. He had a family picnic planned. My son's car was parked about 2 miles from Jesse's shop. We were able to get it running and over to the shop before 10AM. Jesse found the problem, was able to obtain the necessary parts, and had the car fixed in about 3 hours. He charged a very reasonable amount. My son made it to So. Cal before dark (a day late), and Jesse still got to spend the rest of the day with his family. If anyone I know ever needs a good mechanic in the Los Banos area, I would highly recommend Jesse and Advanced Service & Repair. Thank you, Jesse. God bless you.

He has shown more generosity and kindness than I could have asked for. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to work on their car! He is genuinely a great guy. He also resolved the car issue in a timely manner.
