He arrived at the designated date & time and I found him to very friendly and courteous. I observed him to be very meticulous during its installation after which he patiently explained what he did, answered all my questions, and how I should conduct annual maintenance. They were very responsive and send out an estimator the next day who turned out to be the owner, Pablo Barcena. Great experience. Most plumbers take a long time to call back, nevermind coming to do the work. These guys called me same day I contacted them via Yelp (they also came highly recommended by my general contractor), they gave me a free estimate and a fair price for the work and scheduled me right away. The day of the job they sent a team of 2 (for a pretty small job of installing a sink in my laundry room and adding a new water valve box behind the laundry machines), they were thorough, quick and did solid quality work. We developed a leak in our master bathroom toilet. We thought it was the wax seal. That was the cause the last time we had a leak. The technician diagnosed the problem and found out it was the deterioration of all the gaskets that attach the tank to the bowl. He fixed it quickly. The technician was very friendly, knowledgeable and respectful of out house. He put covers on his shoes so that when he walked on our floor he didn't track in any debris. Barcena Plumbing is THE BEST plumbing service I have ever used. Our tankless water heater started leaking on a Sunday night. I called Barcena on Monday morning and they sent out Stephen to see what was going on. It turned out that we needed to replace our old water heater so Stephen quoted a price to supply all the parts and install a new unit or have me buy all the parts and just charge me for the install. I ended up buying the parts myself and Daryl and Ken came out the same day and had the new unit installed in under 2 hours. AMAZING!!!! Barcena is a dream to work with! We had a leak under our house and scheduled Barcena to come take a look as they came recommended by neighbors. First they had an opening a day earlier than we originally scheduled which worked for us. They quickly found the problem and fixed the leak. They showed us the broken part that they replaced and were off. Reasonably priced too. They were literally in and out in just about 30 minutes. Oh also, I called three different plumbers and Barcena responded within a couple hours, where I didn't hear from any of the other plumbers till the next day, and one I never heard back from at all. Plumber came to our home 2 weeks ago that's only 2/12 years old (new construction home built in 2020). We have a tankless water heater, and water filter had been slightly dripping water for about 3-4 days so we were concerned about that. Not only the plumber told us the entire filter had to be replaced along with the water valve and cost would be approx 500.00 for the job. This made no sense and my husband told him NO THAT'S OUTRAGEOUS!!! Turns out that only the cartridge in the filter had to be replaced which costs us $64.00 and our neighbor installed it after I asking in our community for a handyman. Be careful with this plumbing company for your plumbing needs they quoted us approx $500.00 for a brand new valve that did not need to be replaced nor a filter that wasn't cracked!! Barcena Plumbing deserves all of the 5 star reviews they've been getting. I have a serious issue going on with a grey water line that runs beneath my driveway, so I looked on Yelp for recommended plumbers. After getting the standard price quotes from several companies, I quickly narrowed it down to Barcena and one other company with excellent reviews. They both had good pricing and never tried to up sell me on the phone. Obviously, they run a tight ship, have lots of customers, earn a fair compensation for expert services, and are in business for the long haul. When I called Barcena, the receptionist answered right away. I told her situation was complicated so i'd need to speak with a technician. Pablo, the owner of the company, called me the next morning and very patiently listened while I explained my complicated problem. He asked me to send photos, then gave me options and pricing. I ended up calling him a couple of different times, and he always gave me his full attention offering ideas so I could save money by hiring a handyman to do some of the digging first. Mind you, this was all BEFORE I hired any services or paid Barcena any money. God business practice, you can tell they are trying to keep customers for the long haul, not just take the money and run. Today two workers from Barcena came to snake my line, Steve and Kenny, both really nice guys and good at what they do. They tried four different blades, two different machines, worked for about 2 hours really trying their best to clear the blockage. They answered all of my extensive questions patiently. In the end, it turns out they could not clear the blockage, but I know they did everything in the book to try, because I was watching the whole time. What they did not do was try to up sell me. They knew I have a handyman who can dig and do concrete, and some pipe work. With a lot of plumbers, their game is to up sell with expensive fixes that may or may not work. Barcena is the opposite. They generously gave me some really good ideas on how my handyman and I could try to fix the issue. Some of their suggestions could actually save me a lot of money in the end. They also told me what kind of fittings they'd use themselves. I don't write that many Yelp reviews. But I rely on Yelp to find good honest workers. I that's what you're looking for, you'd do well to call Barcena. I'm glad I did. Really a well run company. Every single staff person I spoke form, from the receptionist to the owner, was a good experience. read more
