I like that he gives you an understanding of the problem, walks you through the repair and follows it up with a solid quote. Due to the fact that he has fixed another issue for me in the past, I can verify that his work is solid and long lasting. If you need a plumber, this is the one for you Thanks Ben for your great work.

Matthew's Plumbing has done some work for us before, a PRV and a water heater replacement. I had…read morethem come today to check for a leak which I was pretty sure didn't exist. The city of Raleigh refuses to check their water meter or replace it without an invoice from a plumber. Our water bill was higher than usual the last few months. I did a toilet leak test and found no leaks. Nothing else on the property showed a leak. I called the water department and they were less than helpful. Despite our bill going DOWN after turning ON our sprinkler system, they insisted there was a leak. Matthew's Plumbing sent two guys out who listened to the story, checked the meter as I did, checked the crawl space (no leaks) and listened to me complain about the water department. I was expecting to pay $200+, instead they only charged me $75. These people are honest. I was upset enough that I would have paid the $200 or more had they asked me to do so. Today's visit is why I'll keep doing business with them.

We had two simple tasks: install a per-faucet water filter, descale our tankless heater. We got TWO…read moreleaks: one busted pipe and one improperly installed water filter (screwed on badly, constant dribble). Neither of them were caught and ran for weeks causing massive water damage. Matherw's refuses to take responsibility and even BILLED US TO FIX IT! insurance is suing them for us. STAY AWAY. They do NOT stand by their work!
