From my research, I found more reasonable prices in the $350-$400 range. I spoke directly with the owner, who agreed to give me a $50 discount, but that discount was never applied. I ended up wasting even more time calling back and forth just to follow up over $50. Very disappointing experience. I would recommend getting multiple quotes and making sure any promised discount is documented before agreeing to the work. I used them because it was a referral and didn't think to question their prices until afterwards. Mistake made on my part for trying someone new and local.

LADIES BEWARE Sewage…read morewater backed up into my home because of tree roots in the sewer line. Aaron Plumbing came out to assess the situation. The plumber ran a camera down the sewer line which could show not only where the problem was but also how deep and how long the sewer line was. He showed me exactly where the problem was and gave me a quote of approximately $8,000, which I agreed to. A couple of days later they came and started the repair. About half-way through the completion of the job, the plumber comes knocking on my door to tell me that it was a lot deeper than he originally thought and they would have to dig a bigger and deeper hole. This of course, was going to cost more - $5,000 more! The cost went from $8,000 to $13,000! I asked why, and he said that the depth and width of the excavation was not foreseen. That simply was not true. He knew exactly how deep and long the sewer line was because the camera took measurements as well as videos. Unfortunately, at the time of this conversation, I didn't recall that the camera showed the depth and length of the sewer line, or I would have argued this point with the plumber. The huge hole was already dug, and I was afraid of another sewer backup. This whole situation had been very emotional, and I wanted the job done. I didn't know what recourse I had. I'm posting this because I don't want anybody else to be taken advantage of like I was. It seems like nowadays you have to be an expert at everything you need done in your home or you'll be taken advantage of, especially us single women. I called Plumbing Express to investigate and resolve a water leak in my kitchen ceiling. The leak was directly below my master bathroom toilet, which my sister and I had already narrowed down by tapping on the kitchen ceiling downstairs while listening upstairs, where the sound was clearly strongest near the master bathroom toilet. The technician briefly inspected both bathrooms but focused on my sister's bathroom on the opposite side of the house after noticing a damp sponge under the toilet tank. My sister explained the sponge was there because she sprays and cleans the toilet regularly, not because of a leak. The plumber then cut open the kitchen ceiling drywall, stated the leak was coming from the water supply line from my sister's toilet, and performed a complete toilet tank rebuild for $450. After the repair, he gave me a card for a company that performs restorations and recommended I call them to inspect for subfloor damage. When that restoration company arrived, they immediately stated there was no way the ceiling leak could have originated from the secondary bathroom because of the location and no evidence of water stains. They recommended another plumber and a leak detection company come out to find the leak before they performed any work. I contacted a second plumber, who agreed the leak was much more likely connected to the master bathroom toilet directly above the leak area. Finally, I hired a leak detection company, and they also confirmed the leak aligned with the master bathroom location, not the secondary bathroom Plumbing Express repaired. At this point, three separate professionals have stated the leak could not have originated from the bathroom Plumbing Express serviced. I paid $450 for a repair that did not address the actual problem I originally called about. In Response to Ty G: Your response is totally incorrect. I would not have called the second plumber and the leak detection company if your recommended restoration company had not told me that the leak was not identified. The pictures taken are of the secondary bathroom not the master as we discussed in our phone call. It is totally "disingenuous" for you to now state that the master toilet was the issue. This validates everything I thought about your company. Others beware!

After having another leak in the same spot 6 weeks later, I called Casteel to follow up with the invoice and pricing. Once I recieved the invoice, I noticed that I was charged over $650 to just cut the ceiling to see the issue. Yes, over $600 to CUT THE CEILING, which took 5 mins at most. Then, the repair was performed, which was another $600. I have now tried to contact Casteel for 3 weeks to get an explanation for the $650 charge and I cannot get anyone to talk to me. I have been transferred, hung up on, transferred to full voicemails, promised calls back in 12 hours, etc. Noone is willing to explain or ever give me the time to tell me why my simple 6 x 10 in ceiling cut was labeled as a "level 2" cut - which means it was in a dangerous or inaccesible location, prompting the $600+ charge. Long story short, had the second plumbing leak fixed for $350 by another company, compared to $1200+ from Casteel. DO NOT USE CASTEEL PLUMBING. You will be overcharged. Go to literally any other plumbing company. I hope this finally prompts Casteel to reach out to me, as they can see that I've called 10+ times and there are lots of notes on my account regarding this concern. Had a great experience with Casteel. We were able to get a quick appointment and the tech was prompt and polite. Donald gave a very thorough explanation of the possible plumbing issues.
