Our group consisted of 9 people and it legit took all of us plus the hell of the worker to solve all the clues. We loved it so much we plan on doing another one in our hometown. The one hour timer is like a silent reminder of how dumb you really are. Lol. At least that's how our group felt at the time. 10/10 experience.

When we arrived, the guy at the front desk told us they were already closed. Apparently, they close after the last online booking, which makes sense--but I do think the hours should be clarified to reflect that. I understand that booking online is probably the best way to ensure employees know customers are coming in, but since we called ahead and were told we were good to go and we even told them what time we were coming in, we were understandably confused and disappointed when we arrived and found out they were closed.

My attendant was very polite. The process of getting the booking was not. Their website had shown availability that didn't exist which they acknowledged on my original day of booking. So, I had to pay a rebooking fee to get another day. I think that was unfair to me as a customer. They only have 3 rooms available with a 6 person max limit so keep that in mind when booking. They had so much fun we signed up for another one right away. By the end of the week we had come back and done all 5 rooms. Every single room/theme was unique, with a mixture of traditional devices, and high-tech devices. The quality of the escape rooms were top notch. Puzzles were challenging but reasonable. Some really clever unexpected solutions too. But the best part? The staff. Incredibly friendly and great with kids. They created lifelong escape room fans out of our kids. Sure we (adults) did most of the actual solving, but the kids enjoyed finding different objects / props and helping solve clues. There's a good mix of everything. We will definitely try other locations with different themes, in the future. But it will be hard to top the staff experience here at myrtle beach.
