Bait-and-switch pricing and incomplete service I booked a carpet cleaning through Angi and agreed to a promotional rate of 2 rooms for $69. When the technicians arrived on 02/21/2026, they stated the cost would be $150 to deep clean one room. I ultimately paid $135 in cash for one room. The "deep cleaning" lasted less than 15 minutes. The primary issue was a lingering odor and spots in that room, and the odor remained after the service was completed. The carpets are approximately two years old and were in good condition prior to this service. When I contacted the company to request a redo at no additional charge, I was told they would not return or address the issue. The receipt provided does not list a business address. We have called on Xtraordinary carpet care 1-2 times a year for 5+ years to help keep our floors looking nice and white instead of like a NYC sidewalk. They are kind, personable, responsive, thorough, reasonably priced, and timely. I have been happy with their service every single time. I also regularly have them do the grout in my kitchen tile, because the difference is absolutely amazing. I have also had them clean upholstery, which dried really fast and looked great. First off, I have used Tony's services three times, every time he comes and gives me a quote, I am surprised by how inexpensive it is. Tony and his crew are very professional, and they never disappoint. He just finished carpet cleaning 5 rooms, a loft, and my stairs. They look amazing, I was ready to give up on my carpet and switch to hard flooring, because I though there was no way I could get it to look good again. I was panicking until he referred me to Xtraordinary Carpet Care & said that he knew the owner & that he would do a great job. And he was absolutely correct. The carpets were in bad need of cleaning after my tenants moved out & I was worried that even the best carpet cleaner wouldn't be able to get them clean. I worried for nothing. Me & my family were in the process of moving out of our condo, getting things pack & cleaned to our walk through on Friday. We had called extraordinary carpet care scheduled an appointment with tony for an estimate at 1pm on Thursday. My wife waited for him to show (note: we have lives and are in the process of moving out) but no one came or called. We had called tony he gave us a run around and totally forgot what our "scheduled" appointment was for. He gave us a pretty noticeable attitude & that was the end of it. We just moved into our home and the previous owners had ordered his services but forgot to cancel when they moved out early so it was a surprise when he showed up but very welcomed and much-needed. By far this is the best carpet cleaning service I've used! The carpet on the stairs were clean and finished to the edges and corners. Same for bedrooms and hallway. This company saved me $6,500 in new laminate floors and has ALWAYS performed their core function (carpet cleaning) way above expectations. My wife and I have worked with Tony for over four years since purchasing our home in Temecula. During that time, we have always relied on Tony and his team to clean our carpets (what I think is their core business)...something which they've ALWAYS done with great care and professionalism. Recently, we were presented with a situation where our tenants used a Mop 'n Glo type product on our beautiful laminate floors...basically trashing them as the product had built up over the course of 12 months. The floors went from a brownish color to a blotchy white in the areas where the buildup was the worst...it almost made us cry at how bad it looked. We called 10-15 different company's and begged for someone to do the work. In the end, only one company was willing to tackle the job.
