My car was in need of a wash. I had put it off for weeks. Stopped by this new car wash place about…read more7 mins from my house. When I arrived I could barely see the menu because of the sunlight. A nice young man in his early 20s came to assist me. He had nice deep dimples and reminded me of a young Matthew McConaughey. He smiled showing his dimples when I said that. He mentioned that Matthew is also from Texas. I was thankful he came to assist he mentioned my car color is unique. I paid for a wash with wax $13. I heard a unusual sound once my wash was done. Look at my side mirror after leaving heading home my gas lever was opened . A gentleman in a truck made sure to bring it to my attention. I pulled over and closed it . That's the first time in all my years of getting my car washed this happened. Thank God no damage observed.

So I drove up, was greeted and she didn't make me feel like I needed to go up although my car was a HOT mess covered in bugs from a recent trip to Austin. She did ask me if I wanted to pay the extra $5 for tire shine however I politely declined. As I'm writing this I also realized that I didn't ask if they towel dry with that tire shine or what but I'll find out on my next trip. Get to the drive through, the guy guides me to turn my wheel (left, right, right - you know the deal) however I rolled my window down and yelled "hey, can you spray or scrub to loosen up the bugs?" He has me pull back a little and proceeds to spray down my car and scrub my hood and spray again and scrub again (what can I say, lots of bugs) and then sent me on my way. Now this isn't a bunch of heavy ropes slapping your car, it was brushes and at the end it wasn't air that felt like a tornado was coming but more like a big rag that rolled over your car. I go to vacuum out my car and a guy comes over and asks, did all the bugs come off to which I tell him "no" and he says I'll be right back. In my mind they were gonna send me back through the wash again however he comes back and wipes the spots the bugs didn't come off at. (Oh, he has my attention!) Another guy comes over and asks why I didn't get the tire shine and I explained and he says mind if wipe your rims off as a courtesy (why, yes please!). Overall I left feeling like this was one of the better washes my car has had in a long time (I used to have a guy who did hand washes for the same price but you know, inflation). I will definitely be back, I'm looking at the monthly plans AND they informed me that they have someone who will wipe out the inside of your car and vacuum (for an additional charge of course). If you are in the area, give them a try!

They got…read moreme to subscribe for a one month trial and continued to charge me for 2 additional months while I did not get a single car wash. When I caught the charges and complained, they offered to refund one of the months but declined to credit for both of the unauthorized months. That didn't end up mattering because they never credited any charges, just kept the money. Perhaps my fault for trusting them, I'd recommend paying for each car wash separately and don't subject yourself to the subscription or believe anything they say when trying so sell you on the idea. Or just find another car wash.
