I LOVE coming to this salon! I found this salon 13 years ago and I will never go anywhere else! Brayan and Cesar are extremely talented, professional, friendly, caring and fun!!! My hair always look amazing because of Brayan's incredible talent with color! When you are there you see people leave looking fabulous! They are all very loving, you get the best Colombian coffee there as well! They are honest and if there is something that doesn't work on your best interest, they will tell you right away so you don't waste your time.... This place is horrid. I scheduled a Brazilian Blowout. When I arrived I asked the hairdresser assigned to do my hair to show me proof of his certification and training to do the Brazilian Blowout. He didn't know what to do and simply started going through files behind the reception desk. Another hairdresser, who I believe was the owner, came over. I was sitting and waiting. The other hairdresser showed me a certificate and then that since I "don't trust" I should go somewhere else. I told him previous hairdressers had told me to ALWAYS ask for proof of an individual hairdresser's certification. He replied that they are a Brazilian Blowout certified salon and he has been doing them for thirteen years. This pos then asked then if I was going to "trust" and I walked out. I called the Brazilian Blowout corporation and told a customer service representative about this incident. The rep said I was correct to ask to see proof of certification. He also said that the Brazilian Blowout corporation only certifies individual hairdressers. Interesting..... Looks like Xtreme is run by at least one bozo who has no customer service skills and no idea as to how to run a business. As the saying goes you don't get a second chance to make a great first impression. How this pathetic operation could get any repeat business is beyond me and if they get defensive and claim they get plenty I would never believe them....lmfao. Still, they could make a great deal of money for themselves if they ever got Hollywood's attention. They could be a reality show called The Jackasses of Jackson Heights. read more

Cesar and Bryan's hands are amazing. I get my hair done by them every time and they never disappoint. My hair looks so healthy and grows so fast when they cut it. They color very nice and style your hair beautifully. Their customer service is great, the place is very clean, and prices are not that bad for what you get in return. read more

I am extremely upset at the results I obtained after going to Xtreme Hair salon in Jackson heights this passed Saturday August 15th. My appointment was set for 10am. I arrived at 10:15am, being that parking around this area is very hard to find. I entered the salon and met the stylist whose name I don't recall. He asked me what I was looking to get. I showed him a picture and he told me ok no problem. He told me he would do my hair in two parts because he did not want to damage my hair. I will attach pictures of what I asked for. What I had previously and what I was left with. After two excruciating hours they finally washed my hair and get ready to blow it for the second part of the job. When I saw my hair I immediately knew something was not right. I had highlights! NOT what I asked for.This should of been a reminder to RUN! I was looking for an ombre look. I immediately told the stylist this is not what I asked for! and I looked very upset. He rushed to try and fix it and told me he would. Another 2 hours pass and im finally washed and ready to blow dry. When He starts to blow dry I realize that my hair was now white! and patchy! not only this, but my hair went from healthy to extremely damaged. Stay away from this place! read more

I have gone to this place several times. I have yet to leave disappointed. I always go to Carlos for cuts and color. Everywhere I go, people ask me, "who cuts your hair?". I have requested many challenging cuts (pixies, bobs, etc), and Carlos gets it perfect every time. I recommend him to everyone! I refuse to got to anyone else! read more

I have been going to Xtreme Hair Salon now for two years. I specifically go to Cesar who was recommended to me by a friend who has also been with them for about 4 years. Over the past two years, I have done low lights, highlights, 4 haircuts and the Brazilian keratin treatment and will be doing keratin again in January 2018. I am overall pleased with the results. What I like about Cesar, apart from the great color and cut he does, is that he will honestly tell you if he thinks what you want to do on your hair will not suit you. Some people may take this negatively, but I appreciate the feedback. After two years of processing my hair with Xtreme, I can honestly say my hair is not too damaged. When it comes to bleach, heat and chemicals on your hair, it is prone to dry out no matter where you do it or how much you pay for it. Chemicals are chemicals! Nonetheless, my hair is still manageable and shiny. As for appointments, I always book at least a week in advance to get a secure spot for the weekend. I Just got a terrible hair cut and I am in tears now. I can show you the bill from citibank as proof for the cut. The hair wash was really bad . The hair stylist who gave me a har cut and wash was really really bad. When i complained about the hair cut they did not bother appologizing. Their english is really bad and i am from non latin ethnicity. I felt really really bad that they treated me bad and i think i was discriminated becuase i was not a latina. I went to change my hair color .. my natural hair was so healthy and shiny when I stepped in that place I went to cesar twice and I was always pleased until that day I went and Cesar wasn't available so I did my hair with this guys named Demetrio ! Let me tell you it was a nightmare he damaged my hair badly and left me literally with orange hair completely different of the look I wanted which was to be a brunette, he bleached my hair and I was so disappointed he put a second color on my hair that same hour and it was just a hot mess on my hair I wanted to cry I felt so disgusted on top of that they charged me double the price for the 2 colors they put on me without caring for the customers happiness .. Bryan and Demetrio and all of them are a bunch of gold diggers they just want the money !! Good luck if you ever go there read more

Once or twice ive been there at xtreme style. I was looking for an argentinian guy who cut my hair so nice the last time i went. But when i went to go get my haircut he wasnt there. There we only two people working there. The stylist and the man behind the desk. The stylist was busy so the man behind the counter cut my hair and OMG. He doesnt not know how to cut. The length was fine but he didnt know how to do layers. My hair is chopped all over the place. He even looked like he didnt know what he was doing. Plus he didnt brush my hair when starting to cut. DONT GO HERE TO GET A HAIRCUT!!! read more
