The nails techs have generally been kind, deliberate, communicate effectively and ensure you're happy. I've also always had an appointment though. I recently stopped in at 1pm on a random Wednesday when I had a couple hours to spare, thinking I would not need an appointment -- I was wrong. It did not look busier than normal and had several empty stations where I would have thought they'd offer to put me to soak until someone was available but I was told it was a 2 to 3 hour wait and encouraged to make an appointment. It seems there are two kinds of nail salons: those that make you feel genuinely welcomed the moment you walk in: offering a drink, trying to fit you in if they can, and making hospitality part of the experience, and those that are more appointment-driven and transactional. In my experience, while the work is good and dazzle dry may entice me to revisit, this salon falls into the latter category. TLDR: always book ahead.

LCS is a nice and comfortable salon with a lot of pedi stations against the walls and mani stations down the middle. As busy as they were that day, my pedi took one hour w/o interruption. They were so kind, patient, and really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. And don't even get me started on the salon itself it's so cute. Basic manicure with reg polish. Ended up being charged $88. Since when do we charge so much for things that used to and should be included in the service you're paying for. $15.00 to remove the dip powder? You mean soaking them in a bowl forever while they're all on their phones and then come over to use the grinder thing that they would be using regardless for the service I was getting? Then most do charge extra $5 for French. They charge $10.00 and let me tell you. I understand it's regular polish, but it still should not be sloppy with the white all different width on each finger and the base color has lots of streaks in it and still lots of leftover polish underneath the nail. Looked tolerable inside but when walked outside hideous . Went back in to tell the owner and she acted like she didn't see what I was clearly showing her. The other lady repeated it in their language and she said they'd redo it but I'm sorry I don't have another 2 hours today. I just moved to this area from Plano and it Def will not be my new go to spot close to home.
