My new nail home...... I went to the same spot and same nail artist for 10+ years and after I moved DREADED experimenting to find someone new.... After several horrendous experiences I found Valerie at this salon. She and her husband know what they are doing! They are a little pricier however ... they are up front about it AND the service is QUALITY and sanitary! They put the time and effort into the service rather than the "bar" aspect with drinks/cocktails like other nail salons in the area ... I care about my nails and can get drinks elsewhere... I'm sure they have it available if you want but it's not something that masks the quality of the work. Valerie is skilled in design and will tell you exactly what the design will take before she starts. I get dip and design on my natural nails. What I like is how the whole process is done with attention to detail. Also, my preferences with how I want my nails to look. The online booking service is so convenient and they have a loyalty program, which is what I had at my last place. I haven't gotten any other services but so happy with my dip manicures. read more

I just moved here from out of state and was on the search for a good nail salon. The Nail tech B or bee (I'm not sure how you spell it) was amazing!!! She took her time and was so skilled. I initially asked for tips with dip French but with the color I chose it wasn't possible so we opted for dip and gel design instead. This is definitely my new go-to nail salon. FYI they really prefer appt which I didn't know but they were still able to squeeze me in but I'll have to come back for pedi. So happy overall!!!!! read more

Unfortunately if you were to ask a month ago if I would have referred Valerian Nail Spa, I would have said yes and that is why I am giving 3 stars. The encounter I had today was disheartening and I will not be returning. I will start by the honest review of the positive. I have been to two nail technicians here, Valerie and Bee. Both did a great job with my regular gel mani. They are most accustomed to doing dip (a fact that I was told on my appointments) and I was even told by one that she rarely does gel anymore. That being said, I had pretty solid gel manicures on my visits and they have a pretty good color assortment to chose from. My last full visit started late which normally I do not have a problem with knowing that appointments can unexpectedly run over. There did not seem to be an acknowledgment of this and there was no sense of urgency to get to me. I put it aside and continued with my appointment during which again I was told in not so many words, how gel was really not a good option. I completed my gel mani and was pleased with the overall result. 1 week later, I notice that one of my nails had a small break. I made an appointment first thing in the morning using their online platform, received confirmation, and arrived on time. I thought it best to make an appointment with the same technician who had done my nails before for consistency since I only needed a repair. She did not arrive until 15 minutes after my appointment and proceeded to state she didn't know I had a appointment. I told her it was a confirmed appointment at 9:30 and she looked again and only said "oh, you have a repair". She kept saying how she had looked before and there was no appointment which really should not be my issue. You have an online platform that sends me a confirmation so why she wouldn't be aware doesn't make sense. She inspected my finger and said there was nothing to do except cut the nail off. I asked her if there was anything she could do for it to look like the others and add length. She told me about a soft gel overlay but then quickly said "I don't have time for that". I asked if there was anything to make them look the same and she kept telling me how she didn't have time. I had arrived on time and was not happy with the situation as it seemed she was more irritated by me being there than anything else. She told me how she told me gel was not strong and how I should get dip next time. She hurriedly took off my gel with the drill alone (something they told me they didn't do) applied a base-coat ignoring my questions of options and left to go back to, I can only assume, complain to her husband who came up to explain to me how it is impossible. She said I should have called then they could have told me in advance exactly what I needed. Apparently they are unable to add length and do gel. This was interesting since he was the one that initially inspected my nail, asked if it was gel, and said it could be repaired. My husband witnessed the entire exchange and even questioned when she went to the back as to why she kept saying she didn't have time and acting as though it were my fault. I continued with the rushed repair and let them know I would not be back which I am sure doesn't really matter to them in the grand scheme of things. The situation could have been avoided had she not started out as if I had single handedly ruined her morning and taken the a moment to actually attempt to help. read more

I went to this location as a walk in , he stated I had to wait a bit in which the wait was only about 10 mins. I got a pedicure and gel manicure. The service was amazing . My tech name was Sean he truly pampered me . The salon is very well kept it's new and nice . I've already booked my next appointment. I highly recommend this salon. This was my first time at this Nail salon and It was also my very first time doing dip nails. I am usually someone that gets gel polish and keeps very short nails. Bee asked if I'd be interested in tips...and I thought why not. Bee was a very efficient and focused nail tech. She was professional and wasn't very talkative but I didn't mind that since she was focused on making sure o for exactly what I asked for. For someone that doesn't have long nails ever I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked my nails. Thank you Bee! The inside has a nice feel. I got my nails done by Bee- a dip manicure with tips. She was wonderful. She took her time and asked questions to ensure she was doing what I wanted. The salon itself is cute and straightforward. The owners are friendly and make it a point to talk to everyone. They offer complimentary drinks! I showed an inspiration picture and Bee did a great job! There isn't any pricing that I could see, so I recommend asking before starting. They offer perks such as 10% for your birthday month and 10% off for referral. I was extremely pleased with my service and would definitely be back and recommend Bee. read more

I've been coming here for about a year now. It's important to know that you should always book an appt here ahead of time. It's makes everything so simple. Every time I come in for an appt I'm seated with in the first five minutes. You won't experience overbooking here or being sat in a pedicure chair- only to soak for 30 minutes before a tech is available. I've been to two different salons ever since moved in the area but wasn't satisfied of the work and services. Plenty of parking out front. Salon ambiance is relaxing with music. Originally from Los Angeles I've been to all sorts of "fancy" overpriced nail places and never got this sort of service. From the moment I walked in the door the gentleman in charge was very eloquent and went above and beyond describing their services. I don't expect much in terms of customer service at a nail salon - they usually rush you in and out like cattle but I was actually taken aback at how attentive he was. And the pedicure I got was divine. All sorts of scrubs and massages and hot stones for $55. Very reasonable IMO. I was offered all sorts of beverages from matcha to wine. I got a gel mani pedi and they both look great. You usually have to pay an arm and a leg for this type of service. Very impressed. Looking forward to coming back! read more

If you want to be charged for nexgen nails and pedicure $217.00 including tip this is the place for you to go. I was not happy with the work done on my nexgen nails and pedicure. The owner was informed I was not happy, I was lead to believe that if I went back they would fix the issues. I did go back and instead they charged me again and didn't care that the work was not satisfactory from the get go. If you want to be taken advantage and deal with greedy owners that are over charge you and have no principles, or values this is a place to go. For the service you get here and it basically a whole in wall salon, I would suggest to go to a place that offers amazing work, customer service and beautiful salon. You may consider Rose Couture in Prosper. They have manager that runs this beautiful salon, it not ran by the owners. I only had time for a pedicure but Kimberly was very good! I was in a car accident breaking my foot last year and ever since then it's very hard to get a pedicure since I'm sensitive on my toes. She was very gentle but also gave me a great ingrown cut/ cuticle cut. She took her time making sure she removed my ingrown nails and cuticles, she was gentle and precise. I can't explain how important this is as someone who is in the medical and esthetics field. I was very satisfied with how she prepped my toes and cleaned them. She used alcohol numerous times during the service. It didn't hurt at all but I will be honest I had terrible ingrown nails. She did a perfect job! She also took her time and massaged me and made sure that she didn't rush the service even though my toe nail cutting took longer I'm sure. She took her time and I was very relaxed! I have been to this salon a few times. There were issues with being seen at my appointment time. There is no accountability when there is an error on their end. What is the point in scheduling an appointment when they really just fit you in around walk-ins. I have seen them do this several times. On my last visit they actually did this to me. When the lady started acting confused about my appointment, I simply turned around and WALKED OUT! I don't have the time or patience for petty ignorance. I went into this salon as a walk in. Waited 10 minutes and got a basic pedicure. I expected to be rush and not have a great experience being a walk with AND getting a basic pedicure. Usually that's how it works. I was only wanting my feet to look better for the first boating day of the season so I wasn't concerned about the experience. This salon provided 10/10 experience.
