Taking the course with Maura spared me from likely embarrassment. She explained the rules clearly and demonstrated serving techniques. She's very patient. She told me not to rush my serve. The class had just enough time to play a short game. The facilities are nice. I borrowed a pickleball racket for free. I'll need more practice. There are sessions where beginners can play. Bottom line is that it was quite fun. Thanks to Maura and Picklers Pickleball Club for getting me started.

They replied "anything with 75mm on a green label". They did not offer to come help us. We looked at those boots and found all the sizes were European . Not knowing what size he wore in European we looked around for a conversation chart and did not find one. Again no one came to offer help. Finally googled a conversion chart. We spent another 15 minutes in the store looking at boots and wandering around but no one once asked if we needed help finding anything. The three men hadn't moved from their chat session as we left the store. Would never return.

We did a few mini private lessons then took a break for the summer and now we are back at it he is doing Learn to skate there on Saturday mornings and he has a Friday session there with Clifton park youth hockey. I love how informative the staff are. Donovan loves "Coach Matt" who has been working with him ever since my lil guy started skating. Very family friendly place not gigantic like the Clifton park arena very nice great lessons. Even though my boy isn't great at skating as he has trouble with stopping and turning. I have all the confidence that it will come in time. Highly recommend the Hockey Hut for kids who just want to learn to skate, learn to figure skate and learn to play hockey!
