I regret not to take any photos this time, but this place has a lot of Vietnamese specialties to offer that bystanders can enjoy either as togo for a picnic or simply to accompany their visit to the Starbucks shop across the street. Their primary products are Banh Mi, the famous sub sandwiches. Their former name was Boston bakery, which hints that the owners might come from that city, where Banh Mi are pretty good. I love their grilled pork Banh Mi. It was well marinated. Currently, the shop runs a promotion of buy 5 get 1 free, and you can choose assorted Banh Mi. Their desserts are noticeable with various Che, the sweet dishes usually simmered with beans, coconut and served chilled in individual cups. They also serve other home made cakes such as Banh Cam, the Sesame Balls with Sweet Mungbean Paste inside; or Banh Da Lon, the sweet and gelatinously soft in texture green and yellow layered cake. Their best kept secret, to me, is the frshly squeezed Sugarcane Juice. My favorite size is the large at $8 with ice. You can watch them juicing it. Off and on, they make Banh Cuon, the Vietnamese Steamed Rice Rolls; or Banh Beo, the Vietnamese Steamed Rice Cakes with Shrimp and Mungbean. These come with the sweet and sour dipping sauce. If you dare to sample the authentic Vietnamese beyond Phở, the noodle soup, Y Nhu Bakery is such a good start. Next time, I promise to update with some pictorial illustrations. Came by the other day to grab some food before flying out of MCO and it was quick and easy. Parking is available on the street. Saw a sign for the spring rolls and ordered a couple that were made to order. During my wait, I saw a box of banh cuon and opted for that instead! The spring rolls were fresh and tasty! They had both shrimp and pork and came with a spicy peanut dipping sauce! The banh cuon was also quite tasty! The rice noodles were pretty thin and the minced pork was tasty. The spicy fish sauce had a nice kick to it too! Prices are tax included. ;) They did seem to have a credit card machine that was turned off. Easily my go-to spot for a delicious and affordable banh mi. For only $8 (tax included!) I get a fresh banh mi special cold cut within minutes. The bread is crunchy and soft in the inside and pairs well with the cold cut meats and veggies. The service is great with only two people running the whole place. The place is definitely more of a grab and go but they also have chairs and tables if you'd like to sit down and eat. Still one of the best bahn mi in central FL that I've tried. Bit annoyed they close on Fridays, but they do what they gotta. The price has gone up again since my last visit 3 months ago. Banh mi was delicious! It seems to be hard to find a place where the bread is fresh made and not soggy. The baguette here was crispy and you can tell was freshly made. Craving an authentic Bahn Mi and I have always passed by Y Nhu / Boston Cafe but never went in and tried the place Went in this weekend to fulfill the craving and the place was empty. As you walk in the glass shelving have an array of vietnamese treats such as huge Baos, Rice cakes and summer rolls, Fried Sesame balls filled with red bean paste, Varieties of Cold Che's drinks, Vietnamese Coffee, Vietnamese deli pate, Sausage Roll, Banana Leaf Sticky rice wraps filled with meat just to name a few. They offer fresh Sugar cane juice in 3 sizes. Large size is $8. So the Bahn Mi selection offer : Combination, Grilled pork, Chicken, Grilled Fish cake, Steam Pork, Pate from what I recall. The price is $7 - $7.50. I opted for Grilled Pork and Grilled Fish Cake Bahn Mi. They are made to order.I requested no jalapeno on mines. The Sugarcane juice I requested NO ICE and when it was given to me it was ALMOST filled all the way up but not much. The drink was still cool to touch even without ice. I also ordered 4 pcs of BAO which are HUGE for $5 each bao and the rice cakes looks fresh and soft they gave you 3 pcs for $5. Staff here is nice and the man who cashed me out asked where was I from possibly because I bought a few things from him. They do take CARD as payment. They accept apple pay but I think the machine was not working at the time. The sugarcane juice was refreshing. They added squirts of lime and it gives the sugarcane juice a more refreshing taste. The sugarcane comes off not that sweet when lime juice is added. The Grilled Fishcake Bahn Mi was ok. It was tasty but not my favorite. The pickled carrots and radish was good and the cilantro was not overpowering. The cucumber gave the Bahn Mi as refreshing taste to the sandwich. The Grilled Pork Bahn Mi was delicious. It is always my favorite Bahn Mi selection when it comes to these sandwiches. The sweet pork had good amount of fat along with the tender meat once you bite into it. The Bao was also delicious, Tender soft white dough with a huge pork meatball inside with a boil egg. The pork meatball is flavorful. The egg was not overcooked and the meat had some black fungus mushrooms and some cartilage crunch I am not sure from what. This is a huge BAO so it will fill you up once you fully eat it. This Bao is not thick skin dough either which is a good thing. You can taste the filling more on these baos. The layered rice cake was delicious and not overly sweet. It is layered green with yellow layers of rice cake with hints of yellow mung beans in the center layers of the yellow cake. This was chewy and soft which I love when eating rice cakes. It has the stretchy texture of a mochi. I would def by these again. Overall the food items here are delicious The place is clean as well I would def come back here again. read more

Stopped in to grab some Bahn Mi with a friend and was so delighted by our choices. Grilled Pork, Chicken, and Pork Belly were the 3 sandwiches (plus a mandatory fresh Sugar Cane drink) made for an affordable, light and delicious lunch. The ambiance can seem a little odd for people that aren't used to Vietnamese, or Asian Markets in general, but they had a variety of tasty looking treats I'd love to go back for. After ordering, they made our sandwiches and drink quickly, and had us rung up in minutes. Friendly staff, quiet little windows seats, and damn good food. Can't wait to go back.. Oh, there is parking behind the building in the event the street is full. There were a lot of take out orders, which reinforced our decision to try it. I've searched tonight and low in Orlando trying to find these buns. I got four from here cost me $20. They were wonderful but I think five dollars per bun, especially with the small size of these buns was overpriced after all their 90% bread I'm not sure I will order again from this location like I said just too expensive. read more

Best bahn mi in Orlando! They flavor their meat accordingly and don't skimp out on the fillings. The bread isn't too hard either! They're fast with your order and always try to get me to get more things lol but it's only my husband and I. They're really nice. Some employees don't understand English but all you do is tell them the number you want and you're good to go. We also get a tofu padan pudding which is refreshing to have after eating seeds of death in your sandwich but it's worth it!
