Yvette, her husband and their assistant were all amazing!! They catered our daughters 1st birthday and everyone loved it! The setup was so beautiful and the food was delicious! I sent her a photo of our theme and she was able to create a menu and match the florals perfectly. When deciding what to order for the party, the menu she provided was so easy to understand and Yvette sent over a detailed proposal that explained everything. She answered all our questions quickly and was so professional. The day of the party, they arrived right on time and Yvette was so warm and lovely in person. I especially loved that they came back a few hours later, cleaned everything up & put all our left over food in containers for us to enjoy later. We plan on hiring them again for our future events and absolutely recommend them!

(Broke my 5-star rating scale) This is a long over due review, as we were waiting for our wedding photos to arrive so that we could have picture-evidence to show how AMAZING this catering service is. DELICIOUS food. Aesthetically BEAUTIFUL set-up. KINDEST owner & staff. Honestly, what more can I say, I'm still receiving high praises on how good the food was (Hawaiian BBQ buffet, assorted fruit platter, soft pretzels & cheese appetizers). It was definitely different from your typical wedding meal, as others would opt for Italian or American BBQ, however all hesitation went out the door with the first bite of food. Warm, flavorful, delicious. The set-up was outstanding with all the bright colors and florals, but what made this top tier was the owner and staff. Other than deciding on what foods to serve, my husband and I didn't have to lift a finger in organizing or setting up the food. We could already tell from her instagram and previous reviews that we could trust her vision, and sure enough on our wedding day Yvette and her crew did not disappoint (just look at these photos!). Overall, 100% would recommend for others, and we can confirm that we will be returning customers for our other catering needs.

First class experience all around. Yvette and her husband are such a joy to work with. So kind and made everything so easy and smooth. I was in awe when I saw her beautiful dessert table, drink station, and stunning birthday cake for my daughters first birthday party. I'm so glad I found YA Cakes and Catering! Thank you for making my daughters birthday such a memorable experience

This review is LONGGG overdue! I have used YA Cakes and Catering multiple times over the years. Once I discovered them, I never went back! Yvette and her team are INCREDIBLE. Between birthday parties, vow renewals, baby showers, etc, Yvette has been there for us through it all! I know I can rely on her for quality catering and excellent customer service. The food is fantastic (taco bar is a HIT every time), and desserts are delicious. Yvette is very professional, understanding and accommodating to any special requests. Highly highly recommend!!

My mother-in-law found Y/A Catering on Instagram and was blown away by what they did. More than just a pretty photo, they also are a one fell swoop in terms of getting everything you need in one place rather than dealing with several different vendors. We were planning a party for my son's first birthday. We knew we wanted it to be travel themed. We wanted to hold a breakfast/brunch style event with breakfast food, cake for everyone, and also a smash cake for the birthday boy. We handled our own alcohol, but that is an option they provide as well. She did provide us with lemonade and coffee, as well as cups, utensils, plates, napkins, and a few big tables with linens. We also rented a few tables with linens from a separate vendor. Other than that, she helped us with everything. She was even kind enough to leave everything after she and her team left and pick it up in the next day so that we could continue on with our party. Yvette is so sweet. She had a preliminary phone call with my mother-in-law and I to hear our vision for the party and let us know what she offered. We love supporting local and we also love family operated businesses. Yvette ran the show while her husband cooked and daughters helped with the food and beverages. They have a such a classy style and take on their presentation as well as the food and drink are delicious. She also does incredible balloon decorations. All I told her in the phone call is that I wanted it to be traveled themed and I had a few ideas, otherwise she took it and ran. She really pays attention to detail. Even the signs that she put out for the food and drink had little world maps on the background. She said that she actually had a really great time. She works with all kinds of events in all places, it really made me happy to hire her because she and her family are so sweet. I would recommend using her business and hiring Y/A in a heartbeat. I would also recommend getting in touch soon because it seems like they are getting booked up and gaining popularity. She also has a really fun Instagram page. @ya_cakesandcatering On the food menu, we had yogurt parfaits, a charcuterie board, a vegetable tray, eggs, sausage, waffles, and delicious breakfast potatoes. We had a vanilla cake and a funfetti smash cake. Shout out to Yvette and her amazing family/team. If ever throwing any kind of party again, we are definitely reaching out to her.

Yvette and her family were so easy to work with. They helped me with my daughters baby shower brunch and Yvette listened to my requests with such detail that the set up was exactly what I had envisioned. My daughter was so happy with the turn out. They are worth every penny! Food was delicious and fresh and presented in the most beautiful and elegant way. This was the best decision I made in hosting our event. And I look forward to our next big event. I would so recommend Y/A catering to everyone I know.

I have given plenty of parties in the past but I have never had the excellent service that I received from YA Cakes and Catering! I knew she was detail oriented because I have been ordering cakes from her for years but this is the first time I ordered the works. She came with such beautiful decorations that matched the theme of my daughters bridal shower...glitter table runners, disco balls, little signs that matched the invitations, drink stands...so much more that added that little extra touch that you usually don't see with other caterers. And when I tell you that the food was so delicious, I promise that I'm not exaggerating! Everyone raved about it! She truly wants your party to be perfect, not just the food but everything. I promise you that you will not be disappointed if you use them!

Yvette and her team catered my wedding and did an incredible job! The setup was so beautiful and everyone was raving about the food! I can't recommend her enough. We ordered our cake and cupcakes from her, as well as a taco bar. I sent her pictures from Pinterest and she was able to recreate such a beautiful design, and the cupcakes were several different flowers from the original cake. Several people asked me for her phone number since our guests were thoroughly impressed with her food, desserts and services. Most of all, her family is so incredibly sweet and caring and such a pleasure to be around. I will definitely be using them for future catering needs. Thank you so much, Yvette!!!

I am very grateful to have found YA cakes and Catering several months ago. Yvette and her team worked on 2 different events for me, a gender reveal and then the baby shower. Yvette and her team were amazing during the gender reveal that I booked her for the baby shower before she left my house. She is reliable, creative, detail oriented, knows exactly what I'm looking for, she hit it out of the park and executed my vision to a T! I am THANKFUL for ALL her referrals, the venue, bartenders and connecting me with her daughter for some custom cookies (last minute request). Yvette and her team executed every single request; the BEAUTIFUL backdrops, the DELICIOUS food, drinks and the YUMMY cupcakes. All my guests were raving about how great the food was and how beautiful the decorations looked. YES this is all from YA Cakes and Catering, literally one stop shop - Everything was on point! Thanks again! - Meli

Presentation! Worked with YA Cakes and Catering for my baby shower and everything turned out amazing. Couldn't have done it without Yvette and her staff! Friendly, communicative months before my big birthday party, Yvette was just incredible to accommodate a French theme menu for me. The set up was lovely and the service was so kind and professional. Guests couldn't stop talking about the catering and how nice the staff was. Chocolate covered strawberries (4 dozen) disappeared quickly! What a treat! Professionally presented and so happy I am so beyond thankful for having YA catering. They went above and beyond with the presentation and made it so so special. I can't say enough good things, you have your event in good (and delicious) hands!

My wife and I love to cook and have prepared some outstanding meals at home over our 40 years together. We have extensively traveled and lived throughout the world and as such developed pallets for superb cuisine from all over. As we grew older we gleaned the best of what we enjoy and developed them into our own cooking skills. My wife being Korean born refined her cooking skills in the eastern cuisine like Korean, Japanese, Thailand, and others while I have refined my skills with French and Italian. Prescott is a beautiful place to live but its culinary basis is built on sawdust. We usually cook for ourselves if we want a top notch meal. Now the past several years I have been confined to a wheelchair and transport is very limited. We used to spend winters in Hawaii where we could get great quality meals and seafood whether we prepared them or went out. So our 40th! I wanted to do something special for my wife since I have not been living up to my end of our culinary relationship being confined to a wheelchair. Thus I started seeking out a Chef that would come to our home with his staff and prepare a custom made meal for us. I selected Chef Thomas and Copper State Kitchen. I started by a rather lengthy discussion via phone and followed up with sending Chef Thomas some of our favorite recipes, sufficient for him to develop a five-course meal for us. Chef Thomas is very professional and easy to work with. We refined the meal over the next two days we agreed on the following proposed menu; I supplied the wines. Amuse-Bouche * Fig Jam, Blue Cheese, Red Wine Poached Pear & Arugula Crostini Starter * Prime Rib Poke with sesame crunch and microgreens and pipkuala aioli (based on my deconstruction of the infamous Tiki Bar in Waikiki dish) Pasta Course * Lobster Tagliatelle in a Champagne Cream Sauce Main Course * Beef Wellington with foie gras and red wine demi-glace Dessert * Crème Brûlée (torched table-side) Wine Pairings * Santa Margarita Prosecco DOCG * Domaine Salmon Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc * Tenuta de Sesta Brunello di Montalcino 1996 * Chateau Rieussec 1st Grand Cru Classe 1863 Sauternes 2004 Every course was perfect and very enjoyable. And they cleaned the kitchen meeting my wife's expectations. I highly recommend Copper State Kitchen for your personal culinary experience to celebrate your special occasions.

The beef was so savory and tasty, the potatoes cooked perfectly and the chicken was nicely seasoned and cooked. The bread was great and the herbed butter very good. On the day of however (3/29/25, my daughter's wedding), it was a different story. Though the potatoes were superb, the beef was without the savory sauce we sample tasted and only gravy as an optional add on which wasn't the same at all. There was no separate gravy at the sample tasting. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The toppings for the potatoes were at a separate table with no signage and it was too dark (outside event) to see what each was. The bread was not the Irish bread we sampled at all - rather some kind of fruit bread. And lastly, they made our dinner late by 15 minutes needing more time to get set up.

I would not recommend this caterer. Not one product we…read morereceived looked anything like the photos supplied in this yelp advertisement. The presentation or the food. My son and daughter-in-law were married in October of 2024. They met with Kassandra and ultimately ordered a bruschetta appetizer for each guest, followed by a dinner salad. Dinner was a selection of pastas and dinner rolls. The rolls were cold and hard a rock. I watched as a male child opened and dumped a bag of Costco rolls into a mixing bowl right before dinner service started. At least bring a steamer pot to make them warm, soft and edible. I picked up roll as he dumped them in the bowl and was immediately embarrassed that this is what was going to be served to our guests. If I were a caterer, I'd be mortified to serve food like that. **The bruschetta appetizer my daughter-in-law ordered was NOT served with the dinner and each guest did not get one. ** My daughter-in-law paid for the dinner portion of the wedding and I paid for a charcuterie table to be served during cocktail hour. Kassandra made the executive decision to put the dinner bruschetta on the charcuterie table instead of serving it to each guest as an appetizer. So I paid for a full charcuterie table to feed 120 and my dIL paid for a bruschetta appetizer separately but yet Kassandra combined the two separate orders and served one bruschetta. Essentially we were double-charged for food that Kassandra combined without consulting with us. I also paid $420 for a water and Ice tea station. Kassandra set up a makeshift table with a gallon of water (with some cut of fruit) and a gallon of tea and a little ramekin with 4 sugar packets. That was it. No decor, no cups, nothing. $420 plus an additional 20%tip for WATER and ice tea!!!! Once the dinner service was over, (the reception was just beginning- dancing hadn't even started ) Kassandra took the two containers of tea and water and Dumped them out!! I was made aware of it because people began asking me where the water and tea had been moved to. Meanwhile, I had a 2 - gallon containers in the bar area that were empty that Kassandra should've poured the tea and water into instead of dumping it out. I paid for it, I didn't borrow the tea until dinner service was over. She also took the water and tea and dumped it out on the side of my house. I know this because the fruit that was in the water was strewn about all over the ground beside my House. I also purchased a $1500 dessert table that was filled with stale lady fingers and little round mushy cheesecakes that were served in soggy PAPER wrappers that no one could get them out of without making a big mess. The dessert table underwhelming and disappointing. We also ordered a chocolate fountain.Kassandra brought a $19 Walmart version of a chocolate fountain and started setting it up during the reception speeches. Since the chocolate fountain was small and cheap Kassandra knocked it over right after the chocolate started melting and chocolate went everywhere. All over the table and candles and dessert plates (that I provided) the bricks and soaked into the antique wood table top. It took us two weeks to get the chocolate out of the creases of the wood. We had to treat the table with a product to help soak up all the oil that was in the chocolate and ultimately had to sand the table down. The entire dessert table went straight into the garbage can. There was nothing fresh or homemade about those desserts. I think this caterer is one of those businesses that decided to start a catering business and are figuring it out as they go along. That's fine as long as you are not charging five tier pricing on a 1 tier product and service. She also charged and was paid in advance for an all gratuity which is outrageous especially how the caliber of the product and service was not remotely comparable to the product and service we paid. I called Kassandra the day after the wedding to discuss the situation over the bruschetta - she said she couldn't talk so I texted her my concerns and she never responded back to Me. Again, I would not recommend this caterer. She is highly under qualified and over priced . And, I am telling you that nothing we had was fresh or locally made or homemade. It was Pure Costco through and through. The day after the wedding, once we had a day to settle down and process the event we realized that no one got a Bruschetta appetizer. I messaged Kassandra about that issue and that's when she told me she put them on the charcuterie table to make it "look more full." I paid for a charcuterie table for 120, it should've looked full because that's what I paid for. There was definitely not 120 bruschetta on the charcuterie table anyway.

The patio looks nice for cooler days, and we enjoyed sitting in the little nook that had paintings and small crafts for sale. Recently purchased by new owners from France, I knew I had to try as I love French cuisine. They have a French Specials Board and a Croissant Menu, which my boyfriend both ordered from. We both said we wished there were more French items to choose from. What We Ordered: ~ Coke: served as a can with a mason jar of ice. ~ Goat Cheese Croque Monsieur: My boyfriend loved it, but wished there was more béchamel sauce. The goat cheese compliments the ham really well, and he throughly enjoyed. ~ French Quiche (Chicken, bell pepper, cheddar): I really enjoyed this quiche as it's not something you can find done well in a lot of places. The combination of ingredients work well together. ~ Cappuccino: This was crafted well and I enjoyed the light dusting of topping (believe cinnamon sugar). The espresso paired nicely with the frothed milk and velvety foam. ~ Croissant & Butter: Sadly, this was like any croissant you can get. A skip for us next time, but probably great for a sandwich. Overall, we enjoyed our meal though I'm not a fan of counter service. We'd return again, and pick a table more in the open so it's easily to deliver food to us.
