New owners brought this place back to what it used to be and with an added touch! Well worth the try again

    Reading corner and local art.

5 stars simply as this is exactly what you want in a Bistro/cafe. The services were fast, prompt, friendly and the location is clean, pleasantly decorated, peaceful with great outdoor seating. I did not try any baked goods but my friends ordered the Benedict sandwich and a reuben and both lived it saying they would happily order them again. The drink and coffee selections are reasonable. Nothing alcoholic beyond mimosa or vodka drinks, coffee with kahlua, etc. Everyone enjoyed the drink they ordered. If you want a simple cafe/bistro for meeting with friends, this is perfect. PS: They have a wonderful little reading corner and neighborhood book share section along with local art for sale, if you just need a quiet place to drink coffee/tea and read a book.

    Amazing brekkie!!!

I enjoyed the kids plate breakfast... More than I should have, what an incredible deal, not exactly small, it filled me up. I had a special coffee, and a latte was absolutely delicious, and very thoughtfully put together. Thank you.

Ask the Community - The Bistro Queen Creek

Do they use powdered eggs? Why is the only option scrambled eggs?

Eggs cracked fresh daily, not powdered. They have a limited kitchen making it very difficult to mass produce specialty eggs :)

Indoor and so much outdoor dining spaces creating your own private convivial spot with your group. We did the olive 101 tour, which was real interesting. Tour covered the history growing, harvesting and pressing olives into extra virgin olive oil. This place is the only olive mill in Arizona - go figure! Tour included how to taste and sample olive oil. You can sample all the olives, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pickled veggies and check out many cool gifts in the store. It's a home run in agru-tourism! It's a home run - grows olives without pesticides, focusing on caring for the soil. Does not use pesticides. Operation is solar powered, conserves water, and composts. Two thumbs up for the farm family and the operation that takes care of the hundreds of guests that show up each day. It was an enjoyable time to tour and eat lunch out.

One lady was at counter when my beeper went off. I came up & she was checking someone out, then gave another person their order before me. I could see my food just sitting there (no heat lamp) Not good. When I tasted my eggs they were cold & bland. The woman who gave me my food talked up the jam but it was really tart & we didn't like it. In addition, I paid $6 for coffee. I went up for a refill & there was only decaf. The bartenders said they were brewing more but kinda blew me off. They were way more concerned with the alcohol buying/tipping customers. After 10+ mins I went back up to just wait. After all the bar customers left, a bartender finally acknowledged me & she took my cup & filled it up behind the bar. Supposedly, they'll have a dedicated coffee area ready at the end of August. But, at this point I feel that you shouldn't go to the Olive Mill for hot food, especially at breakfast. They're soo popular that they've stopped caring about flavor. Sad really. Olives & salads your best bet. Nice live music was outside but it was so hot our group decided to go inside.

I'm def a wine enthusiast & enjoyed many wineries while living in CA so I am excited to explore the AZ scene. Staff was helpful in choosing some wines and answering any questions on the wine. It was about 5:30 PM on a Wednesday and the place was Poppin! The bar was completely full and it was loud!. We did not have a reservation and the only open seating was at the bar or high tops in the bar area. We were quickly greeted and our server was incredibly on top of it! I noticed that the main menu had a line at the bottom that stated a gluten-free menu would be available upon request. I did ask to see this menu as gluten-free is my dietary preference, not an allergyand I was brought a complementary gluten-free bun instead of the pretzel bread. I thanked our server and told him not to worry that it was just a preference and he told me that he treats all gluten friendly requests as an allergy. I really appreciated the care and concern he had for my health and well-being. This is unprecedented at most restaurants. They had a very extensive gluten-free menu and I can't wait to go back and try so many more items. We did try the Leonard burger and made quite a few modification requests - all of which were 100% accommodated. This burger was so incredibly juicy! My entire hand was dripping by the time I got done eating it. Everything else we tried was delicious. I have no complaints or suggestions for improvement and will definitely be returning soon!
