Stopped by Yaaa Tea in New Hyde Park first thing in the morning before a long 3-hour drive and had such a nice experience. I actually met the owner a few years back when they first opened, and they were just as friendly and welcoming then as the vibe still feels now. The shop was super clean, fresh, and calm with very Sabrina Carpenter energy -- cute, cozy, and aesthetic without trying too hard. There was only one employee working when I went, but everything still moved smoothly thanks to the self-service kiosks, which made ordering easy. I tried the egg sandwich along with a latte made with almond milk (just note there is a small surcharge for almond milk). Everything tasted fresh and was packaged really well, especially the sandwich being wrapped up nicely since I was taking it on the road. One little tip: if you order a layered drink or something with toppings, ask if you can shake it yourself before the employee does it. Mine looked so pretty before it got shaken up for me, and I would've loved a quick picture first! The employee was very sweet though and overall the service was great. I went back today for some peach tea & was happy that they finally have the egg tarts. And they were sooooooo good yall. I don't remember seeing the biscoff option but this location has a biscoff option. I haven't tried it yet. But the creme brûlée was soo good like always. However, if paying by cash, then you need to wait for a staff member. Aside from lattes, coffees, and milk tea, they also have assorted cookies for sale. Not individually though, these cookies are sold in a plastic container with a screw top lid. This visit I bought a latte, with milk (almond milk available!) And cinnamon, no sugar. You can customize it any way you like via the kiosk. I didn't mind using the kiosk since it was my first visit and I didn't know what I wanted to get so using it helped me see the menu. From the menu inside, there wasn't a lot I wanted to try and wish they posted the prices. Ordered at the kiosk, easy to customize drinks. Got the iced dark mocha brulee bobo $5.99 - wondering why "brulee" though; also a bit sweet - not able to customize the sugar for this drink, unless you request less pump of mocha. Boba texture was good. The jasmine green tea was ok; I added passionfruit flavor at no charge. Mango milk tea description said no caffeine which is good for non-caffeine drinkers. Woohoo...Yaaas opened a new location in Nassau County in Long Island! Congratulations Yaaas. Currently it's their soft opening; grand opening is during Nov 1-5 and there are specials. It's located in a strip mall with a small parking lot (with about 21 parking spots give or take) otherwise street parking. They have their milk tea, iced tea, boba drinks, and coffee. They also have their cakes and cookies at this location. The new thing is you can flavor the iced coconut latte with vanilla, caramel, or pistachio. You can order your items on 2 kiosks or via the employee if you pay cash. This time I got the iced coconut latte with pistachio coffee, earl grey milk tea and jasmine milk tea! My first time at Yaaas tea, there's a small parking lot. The establishment was very clean. The cashier was nice very helpful. I decided to order organic peach ice tea. When you use the touch screen when ordering, it will ask you the percentage of sugar I choose 25%. Also, ask if you would like Boba, or milk. The tea tastes good, just the right amount of sugar. I've been meaning to try Yaaaas Tea and finally did. There's a little parking area so that's a plus. The place looks bright, neat and clean. I walked in and saw the order kiosks. As with any bubble place, options can be overwhelming. I narrowed it down to matcha or taro and ask which is more popular. The nice guy behind the counter said it's taro, so then it was decided! I opted for bubble ($ extra), 50% sugar, and no ice ($ extra). It's made with coconut milk, but there are options for other kinds. This is definitely one of the creamiest tasting taro milk teas I've ever had and I like it! I'm glad I opted for less sugar, maybe I'll try 30% or even no sugar next time. The bubble was not my favorite consistency. It didn't bounce, it almost melted in my mouth as soon as I chewed. That wouldn't deter me from stopping by again! With this being my first visit. Full disclosure - Ive only had yaas tea through ubereats but they have very quickly become our go to sweet treat stop! I have ordered and reordered their cookies, strawberry matcha oat latte, and coffees so far and everything has been very solid. One of the things I appreciate most is for a lot of drinks you can substitute with coconut milk at 0 charge and as someone with lactose intolerance this has been a game changer. Suprisingly taro coconut milk tea & their lattes with coconut milk are sooo good. I will say their coffees trend sweet so I would recommend getting it with one shot of sweetener. This particular yaas location is in a very small strip mall, but we got lucky with parking. You can either order at the kiosk in front or with the person working if you're paying by cash. I usually like to order by kiosk so I can see/choose all the options This shop seems like it's more known for coffee drinks than tea or fruit teas, since there was a much more extensive coffee menu. I wasn't feeling coffee, and instead got the strawberry matcha with boba and 1 pump of strawberry. The taste of the strawberry was very artificial, and the matcha didn't really taste like matcha either. I should've gone with 0.5 pump because the artificial taste was just very overpowering. Walked in today at the end of their promotion/grand opening deal (ending tomorrow) - brand new boba spot in town. Looks like the owner or manager was there and explaining their coconut latte is their signature of the chain. I don't think I've been to another Yaas Tea but been to many boba spots. The taro milk tea I had with organic milk, light ice and 50% sugar was made quickly despite the rush and the boba was very soft. You can taste the real taro flavor and the overall drink was very smooth. I wonder if they will do a Thai ice tea flavor and if you can mix and match flavors. When I saw there was a New Hype Park location, I was very excited to stop by after running some other errands in the area. We live very close and I've really tried to love this boba shop but it's always just OK. We typically order the brown sugar milk and for the price, I would expect more boba. We also tried the teas and they're not bad but the boba this last go around was so mushy. The packaging is beautiful but I'd rather have less fancy packaging and a more quality drink. Parking available up front but can get pretty filled with the other businesses, so street parking available if necessary. It's more of a to-go spot. If you wish to sit, there's really just a bench but more for waiting for your order. As far as the boba and drinks go they offer coffee, milk teas, and fruity options - looks like they carry some specials as well. I've had their brown sugar bobo, the jasmine milk, and the strawberry matcha which is my personal favorite. They offer different milks like oat. They're also very quick. Not a perfect 5 simply because I just have a personal preference with this boba. I just love a chewier texture with a little more brown sugar syrup mixed in.
