Dragon maki - shrimp tempura with avocado and imitation crab. Outstanding.

Been here twice. Ordered the Dragon maki both times. Delicious. They may have a few tables, but it's primarily take out.

Sooooooo yummy!! The fish was fresh and the rolls were rolling (quickly into my mouth). Everything was very flavorful, and it takes a special place to keep take out orders THIS good.

Yaba Sushi is in the center spot of the 106 Cambridge Building. I SO Hope that this building gets filled again. I was lured in by the Grand Opening Decor. They have sushi, maki, terikyaki, Udon. I ordered an avocado and cucumber sushi to go. They have super cute to go boxes. Great presentation. Enjoyed the food, and the fact that it came out quickly. Will report back when I've had a chance to enjoy more dishes - but so far off to a great start!

We love Yaba Sushi and it quickly became our go-to spot for sushi takeout! We dined in once but realized it was more of a grab and go type place as it's limited countertop seating. They're consistent with food quality and the service has always been great!

Ordered Yaba takeout from DoorDash. The fish was very fresh and packaged beautifully. I ordered the caterpillar maki, sashimi appetizer, and hamachi kama/collar. The sashimi appetizer came with seven thick pieces of fish which was very generous given it was only $16. The caterpillar maki was also very large. The hamachi collar was slightly overcooked but nonetheless delicious. Overall, a solid takeout place if you're looking for affordable, good quality fish.

I was looking for some sushi and stumbled upon this place. It's setup for takeout with a high table with a few seats. Don't let the inside fool you, the sushi is amazing. I ordered the maki flight and it was some of the best sushi I have had. They were not stingy with fish and gave such big pieces. The fish tasted so fresh and soft. Would recommend if you're looking for a quick tasty bite to eat

Miso soup, seaweed salad, edamame, ginger soda, spicy salmon roll, spicy yellowtail roll, unagi avocado roll, and spider maki.

I order for pick up via their website - Miso soup, seaweed salad, edamame, ginger soda, spicy salmon roll, spicy yellowtail roll, unagi avocado roll, and spider maki. It was easy to use the website. The location was easy to find the pickup the food. The food was fresh and tasty.

This was genuinely the best sushi I've ever had. The fish was super fresh!! The salmon especially was SO DELICIOUS and the California roll had real crab meat instead of imitation. I ordered it to-go and it was ready super fast.

Super Japanese restaurant for good sushi, chirashi bowl, lunch box. Price from $6 to $22 for a combo. Very small sitting area. Have to try!!

Now let's talk food -- because Zaku lets you choose your own experience. If you want to keep it simple, grab some sushi. If you want to take it up a notch, go for sushi and combo plates. If you're in the mood for something hearty, the entrée options deliver. They also offer wine, beer, and other spirits, so you really get to decide how you want to take flight. We ordered a variety: orange chicken with rice, a combo platter filled with everything from edamame to octopus, and I enjoyed shrimp tempura maki with bibimbap (they kindly removed the beef for me), plus miso soup and a Sprite. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The space is cozy yet lively, giving you room to relax and enjoy your meal. The menu is robust -- so many choices my guests had trouble deciding! Zaku gave great food, great service, and a great experience. I'll absolutely be back.

Extremely fresh fish with generous portions in a casual, underground space…read more I think this is a reasonably priced establishment for the level of fish (phenomenal) and service (reasonable and attentive, but not like a fancier sit down restaurant) that you get. I am always surprised at how full I am when I leave! I'm stuffed every time. There is complementary miso soup with all of the bowls I've tried, outlined below. I really loved all of the bowls I've tried but my favorites are probably the Sake Aisuru Don and Kuromon Don. I just prefer more salmon to more tuna though, and they're all very good! Food: - Sake Aisuru Don: their classic all-salmon bowl! I loved the larger cuts of salmon, and I was pleasantly surprised that even the more pulverized salmon was flavorful! - Kuromon Don: loved the yellowtail in this! Each fish comes with two pieces (except the mackerel for which there are four), and I liked the sampler style for the salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and izumidai. - Maguro Toro Don: so much tuna! And all such high quality. The otoro was so fatty that it practically melted in my mouth without chewing. - Sake Maguro Hamachi Don: a mix of salmon, blue fin tuna, and yellowtail. I liked the yellowtail in this a lot and found that it stood out the most from the other two fish in this particular bowl!

Came to Boston for a work trip and really wanted to eat something light and healthier. I loved it…read moreso much I came back twice! I came during lunchtime on a Monday. It was adequately busy but still had seats open. The lunch menu is very affordable! If you can, I'd highly recommend going for lunch instead of dinner. Service was really quick! Received my meal in like 5-7 mins after ordering. Fish was super fresh and I really liked the different textures in the Hoseki Don. I also added in negitoro. They gave me a big clump of it! The second time I went back, I ordered take out so I could eat it at the airport for dinner. I ordered the Sake Maguro Hamachi don, added ikura and negitoro. Again, so impressed with the quality of the fish and the size of it. They didn't skimp out and really enjoyed the thickness of the sashimi despite it only being 3 pieces. It was a very satiating bowl. Cant wait to come back next time again!
